We stopped here as a pit stop to stretch our legs on a road trip. We walked down to string around…read morethe plateau loop, so I'm not sure what the rest of the trails look like, but what we walked was beautiful. The cons are: the women's restroom smelled Bad and there was toilet paper everywhere, like confetti. Also, the kids couldn't play on the rock wall equipment in the little park area because it was so hot. (It's in direct sun in the afternoon.) The pros are: most of the kids playground is in the shade, so they were still able to play, even if not off the rock wall. There are tons of picnic tables and benches everywhere, both at the trailhead and throughout the trail. There are butterfly gardens at the trailhead and on the plateau loop, so there were butterflies everywhere! There's a "Little library" on site. The trails are either paved or gravel, so it is passable for jogging strollers. There are workout stations every so often. If we lived here, we would probably come here several times a week, and we will stop again if we need an another road trip break.

Nice trail, paved for more of a nature walk feel, with fitness stations along the route. There's a…read moreplateau with a butterfly garden, and it connects to Foote trail. This is about 4.5 miles long, though doesn't loop. It's marked every quarter mile, so it's not too hard to keep track! Some interesting views, a nice way to step into nature. There weren't many dispensers with dog poop pickup bags, so be sure to bring your own if you bring your pup along!
