Upon arrival, he walked through how he was going to repair my phone and was even willing to take a look at my teenager's completely damaged iPhone 12 to see what he could do (teenagers!!! Grrrr)... Fixing my lens alone would've been 20 minutes, but he needed more time to take a look at my son's phone; so for just an hour, I walked through the shopping plaza, sat down for lunch & tea at the nearby Chinese restaurant, sifted through the Vietnamese grocery store-- it was chill. I came back to find my lens repaired 100%, yay. Unfortunately though, after a good time of troubleshooting all features of my son's phone, he wasn't quite able to bring it back. He gave me a quote for the repair of multiple parts and then suggested I think it over and come back should I decide to move forward. It was two months old and i wasnt about to pay that. As i was waiting for an appointment at Apple i went on Craigslist and found a posting for IMobile. I called Phone Hut Repair on Jan. 23rd and got a quote of $320 to repair my phones broken front…read morescreen and back glass. I asked if I could be provided a quote via text or email so I could provide the quote to my insurance for approval and they said yes I'll text it to you...I did not receive any text. The next day Jan. 24th I went in person and apparently he remembered my device and said he sent me a text I mentioned I did not receive anything. He took my name and phone number and stated I'll send you a text with the quote in 15 minutes. Yet again I have not received any quote so I'm unable to provide my insurance with it and continue my claim. The repair cost would have been paid out of my pocket and I would have been reimbursed. They would not have to deal with my insurance so I'm not sure why they lied to me twice and didn't want to provide a quote. Oh well taking my business elsewhere.
