The staff at the Kingston store have always bent over backwards to help me -- even when I was on prepaid and they weren't making any money on my visit; and even when I had no appointment (which is most of the time). I recently decided to upgrade to a postpaid account, and when the Web site vomited in the middle of the upgrade, the Kingston store finished the process for me. Everything was exactly as it should be when they were done. My number was ported in minutes, there were no surprise fees, they verified my veteran status quickly; and when the bill came in, it was actually slightly lower than they'd estimated. More recently, when I knew I'd be getting a new iPhone delivered the next day, I stopped by without an appointment for an eSIM card in case the phone-to-phone transfer didn't work. They were busy and I had no appointment, so I had to wait for 20 minutes or so; but Chris helped me out when it was my turn, and I walked out of the store with the QR card all configured and ready to be scanned into the phone. Maybe I'm just more patient than most, or maybe I just don't expect a business to stop what they're doing whenever I waltz in without an appointment. Or maybe both. But I do know that I've never had a bad experience with this store. I've also sent others there, including my elderly parents, and they have all been happy with the service. That's my experience. I got active armor with AT&T to prevent spam text and phone calls. I was getting a lot of spam texts. When I went to the store, they told me there was nothing they could do. Thus was included in with my AT&T service, so I don't know why they refused to help me with it, but they never helped me with anything. I also had poor reception again. They told me nothing they could do that. It was my iPhone. I went to the iPhone store in Albany and they said it wasn't my iPhone. There was nothing wrong with my iPhone. AT&T has never helped me with anything. The worst store to go to.

I think it's time to change it and put a new one on. As I was sitting there trying to pry what I thought was my old screen protector off, my whole phone screen came peeling up, screen turned a rainbow of colors and stopped working! To my horror, I realized that I did not have a screen protector on and that I had just attempted to rip the actual screen off. I quickly panicked as one would do when ruining their iphone and quickly got in the car to head to the Apple Store at the Danbury Mall. I walked through the door thinking "oh my god, this is going to cost me $500 or possibly a new iphone. I can not afford this right now!" Walking in, I looked up and noticed that there was a Mobile Rescue store in front of me. My fiance suggested we go in and give it a try. I admit that I turned my nose up to the idea at first, but decided to give it a try. The second we walked in, a bright bubbly girl named Olivia welcomed us. I told her what had happened and said "oh no problem! We can have this fixed for you in 15 minutes!" I was shocked and did not know what to say. She said "Yes, we can fix this good as new and it will only cost you $80.00." I said yes, and left the store. We walked a couple laps around the mall, found this new furniture store which has actually been there for the past 5 years, ARHAUS,which I will write a separate review for, walked through there a couple times and headed back to Mobile Rescue. Tuzal, the tech was just finishing my phone repair when we walked in. My phone was better than it was to begin with! He then put an actual screen protector on my phone for free and we went on our merry way. That was such an amazing experience, and I recommend that if you damage your phone in any way, instead of paying an arm and a leg to Apple, to head on over to Mobile Rescue to see Olivia and Tuzal. Thankfully I decided to trust that someone has the ability to repair my apple products other than apple. I took my iPhone XS Max in for some major repairs; front, back and battery. Alfredo was up front about costs and turnaround times. I was explained my options and dangers of trying to save a quick buck in the long run. I trusted the Jedi Masters recommendations and my trust was not ill placed. My phone was masterfully repaired and warranties explained clearly. Then again, had I not posted online, the issues would have gone to the wayside. This should be posted for all to know; this team preforms a weekly round-table meetings to discuss issues that arise from one week to the next. And they make good on their discussions, bravo. Being that this is a "veteran owned business", as posted on the front door, it is awesome to know that this American hero, is willing to serve and protect, even now that he's part of civilian life.  A good dude, refunded all of my money & fixed the 2nd issue without hesitation. I had my battery changed and now l have 2 Apple warnings. They are both for improper parts used. I am going to bring it back in and talk to the person who fixed it. I do not like having red warnings showing on my phone. I ended up buying a new I Phone from Apple. No authorized Apple Dealer would fix the problem. The replacement battery was put in cheaply, and Apple would not touch the phone. The service person will not listen to you. The owner will talk to you and tell you they do authentic Apple batteries, but the foreign kid behind the counter does not comply. Do NOT bring your Apple phone to this place. Bring it to an Apple authorized dealer!
