I've struggled with my weight for years and finally decided it was time to seriously concentrate of my health. Just prior to this past Thanksgiving, I decided to go on the HCG Diet. Mind you, this is the worst time of the year to begin. The first 20 days was rough, but with the support of Ashley and Sonja, I was slowly able to lose weight, but most important the lost of body fat. My second round of the HCG took me through Christmas and New Years. Now this was a struggle, but I didn't give up. Going from 53 lbs of body fat to 36 lbs is an amazing feat for me. My goal is to get my body fat to 29, or lower, which I now believe is possible. I enjoy being weighed in every two weeks to see the progress and enjoy the success. I couldn't have done this without the assistance of Ashley and Sonja. My sincerest thanks for your encouragement. Horrible customer service! Was there over a week ago and paid $200 for their weight loss program. Guess what? As of today - still haven't received the prescription. Even better - I left 2 messages earlier this week and no one ever returns your phone call, called today and just got someone's voicemail so I finally had to drive over there to find out what was going on and no one seemed to know anything! I won't ever be going back to this place - there are too many other options out there with better customer service. read more

Update - Thanks Sonja for your incredible work in helping me lose 31 lbs and giving my husband 6-pack abs and 50-lb weight loss! I had to write an update because I am so thrilled that after 4 years of trying everything, Sonja is the only one who was able to help me to lose weight. I'm now down 31 lbs and still losing weight and gaining energy! It is her kind and perfectionist attention to detail that made this happen. I was so happy with Sonja's help that I brought my husband in, who had been feeling extremely tired no matter how much rest or working out he did. He has been on testosterone pellets (myself as well) for a year now, and he has LOST 50 LBS. HE HAS A 6 PACK! He has enough energy to commute 2 hours, work a stressful job, and work out ~2 hours in the evening. We are both so happy and grateful. Hormone therapy is extremely complex, and Sonja was in excellent communication with us throughout, carefully changing the dosages to make sure we had the perfect amount. I wish any of the 16 specialists I'd seen the last 4 years for my other health issues had been even HALF as careful and committed to my health as Sonja has been. I can't help but notice there's a strange negative review, I think that anyone reading through it before booking appointments should take this with a grain of salt. For example - something popping out of a healed area weeks later? A piece of paper? Come on, it doesn't take a medical professional to know that PAPER would be dissolved by the blood/body in a day, IF something like that had happened, not just appear completely clean 3 weeks later. And having had the testosterone pellets 6 times myself, and watching my husband get it each time the last year, the likelihood of that "complaint" is just impossible. Furthermore, in all the times my husband and I have had this procedure, we've never even SEEN a paper like that. If this bad review sways you, I'd consider seeing all the other 1-star reviews this person writes. Really? Is every other restaurant in Dallas ALSO SO BAD? There's always someone like this... I'd encourage anyone considering hormone/weight loss therapy to just go see for themselves. I drug my best girlfriend in and she's also since lost 30 lbs. For the record - I'm not related to this establishment in any way, and I've never gotten anything free from this establishment, not even a coupon. The customer service here was amazing and far above what I expected. I bought a Groupon for a syringe of Juvaderm. The reviews on Groupon all suggested going to the Plano location e so I did even though it is out of the way for me. I had read about people being looked down upon for using Groupons at other clinics and I also expected to not be taken seriously because I am younger. However, I experienced none of these things. Mark did my injections and he was amazing at walking me through what he was doing and making sure that I was comfortable. He explained everything to me and I felt at ease the entire time. The first time I went, he suggested that we stop once we finished half a syringe and that I come back the next week so that we could see if I wanted to add more. This obviously meant that the clinic would have to take more time on me and there was no financial benefit to them for me visiting twice. He also listened to my requests about wanting it to look natural and understood what I wanted out of it. I really felt like Mark was doing what was in my best interest. He told me I could contact him if I had any questions at all. Overall I had a really positive experience with Total Med Solutions, absolutely no complaints. If I do decide to continue with injections in the future, I will definitely be returning. read more

Not knowing what I wanted to do I asked to allow some extra time. Sonja was so patient took the time to know what I was looking for. I get their dysport from the Groupon pretty regularly. I prefer this location because they tend to be more on-time than the Dallas one. I've been going to Total Med Solutions for over two years to receive Botox. They are friendly, polite and always willing to answer your questions. I love how conveniently located they are and that they take appointments over the lunch hour. UPDATE to previous negative review: 10/16/17 As a follow up to my previous negative review for the Plano location of Total Med Solutions. I wrote a letter to the President and Owner, George Thompson at 5pm on a Thursday evening, He personally called me before 9am the next day (Friday). George was personable and apologetic once I shared what happened in his office the day I tried to use his business. He asked me to consider coming back and trying a different service of which I did. Today I visited the Plano location again, it was a very pleasant experience. Mark Zerrudo was the RN, BSN I met with. He was awesome! He's knowledgeable and really knows how to look at your face and make the best suggestions to help with the aging process. After having a great experience today, I will return as a regular customer to Total Med Solutions. I've never given a bad review about a business before...so here goes... Terrible, just terrible customer services by their "Lead" esthetician. Scheduled my appointment 1 week ago. She calls me the day before my treatment and tries to get me to move my time ahead by 15mins. I tell her I'm sorry, I work, but I will try to get there earlier. She says..."Look, if you are a minute late, no one will help you because we aren't staying late for you." They close 30 mins after my laser treatment...why would she have to stay late for a 15 min procedure? When I get to the clinic...10 mins early, she points at me says, "You, come here" and leads me to a back room. She tells me I'm "too dark for laser treatments" and I "should go because I'm not going to help you..." This is strange because I've had 3 laser hair treatments before (at other places), and had great results and great customer service. (I have olive skin/dark hair) Long story short, after reporting her behavior to two other very nice, sympathetic women, I left....very sad. I could not bring myself to ever come back to such a negative place. She's definitely doing a good job of scaring away business. Too bad, I would have probably bought lower leg treatments in addition to this treatment. What a waste of time, money and energy. read more

I have been to the Plano location a couple times. I really like Ellen and Katrice. They are knowledgeable and seem to enjoy their job. On other occasions, when I saw different staff members, I felt like I was being herded through like cattle. One of my experiences involve the purchase of a package for 2 microdermabrasion. This was my first time getting one. After the first treatment, I couldn't tell that it did anything and didn't see the point in having this treatment performed. However, since I bought a package of two, I wanted to use the 2nd treatment. The second time, Katrice performed my treatment. I couldn't believe the difference between the two treatments! She was amazing! I bought another package and look forward to her performing my treatments in the future. I highly recommend requesting Katrice and Ellen for your treatments. read more

This is my first review on Yelp. I use it often and find it very helpful. That being said, I feel compelled to share my experience. I purchased a groupon for Botox for this establishment. Being new to TX, I thought it would be a great way to help find a new establishment for Botox, Restylane, etc. 1) The front desk staff was incredibly uninviting and far from helpful. The young lady barely acknowledged my arrival, spoke in monosyllables, and simply pointed behind her when I asked where the restroom was. 2)To the left of the restroom was a small room which I believe was the medication room. The fridge was obviously not working properly as there were towels on the floor to soak up water. I was concerned that the meds were not being stored appropriately right away. 3) Most concerning was what I saw sitting on top of the fridge. There were several multi dose vials with needles sitting in the the rubber "septum". Being in the medical field and surviving many accreditation inspections, I was immediately concerned about the injection practices at the facility. Leaving a needle in the vial and using a clean syringe and new needle for injection is an older practice that has been shown to be a health hazard. I arrived at 11:44 for a 12:00 appointment. At 12:25 I asked if it would be much longer. "Just a few more minutes". Again at 12:37 I asked how much longer it would be. I received NO eye contact from the front desk attendant, and instead of addressing me, she addressed the other young lady working and said "10 more minutes". At 12:48 I was so disgusted with the lack of customer service (not once was I checked on by any staff) I decided to leave. So, please note, I never spoke with any of the staff responsible for med administration, so was never able to get clarification on the mess I saw in the med room. 5) I called groupon to inform them of the lack of professionalism and potential unsafe injection practice. They immediately refunded the amount of my purchase. Groupon was awesome. So, fair warning folks. I won't ever be going back to this location, but if you decide to, please be safe. read more

Usually I love this place. Today however my appointment was on my lunch break and they were 45 mins late getting me in. Also they said they would match the groupon price for I lipo but when the lady quoted me $1000 for 8 the rest of the staff smirked and laughed. I purchased a Groupon for 25 units of Botox. I have had it twice before, forehead location, 20 units each time, with perfect results. (Different location). Initially, the day of the visit to the office, I was very pleased. Staff was nice, courteous, professional and prompt. Floria injected the 25 units, and did not pressure me with purchasing more, and I appreciated that. When I left the office that day, I was, overall, very pleased. And then I went home, and waited.....and waited. After 3 days, I noticed absolutely no immobilization of the muscles at all. On the previous 2 times I had it done, by day 3, I could see the slowing down of the muscle movement. So I waited, and checked several times a day, for some noticeable effect. There was none. The paper that was sent home with me stated that I should start to see effects between 3-7 days. But that if you don't get "desired results" by day 14, they will see you after that for a "touch-up" or additional units, possibly at my expense. Desired results are different than no results. On day 6, I spoke with Lydia and explained my concerns that after 6 full days, there were NO changes, no immobilization of the muscles at all, so that I didn't feel comfortable waiting a full 14 days, because I knew that if there were no results by day 6, there wouldn't be at all. I told her that I had reviewed Groupon's policy on this kind of situation, and that Groupon would not issue a refund after 14 days, but told her I didn't want a refund, I wanted the Botox to work. At the same time, I didn't feel I should have to pay for additional treatments when the initial one didn't work at all. Bottom line, she put me on hold, after 8 minutes I was disconnected, and was never called back. I contacted Groupon and they issued me a refund on the services. Very Disappointed. read more

I have been in several times for Botox and each time I felt like I was an annoyance rather than unappreciated customer. Today they were running late and when I asked how much longer they would be I got an eye roll so after them being 20 minutes late I left. The patients time is not appreciated. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey and I feel that I can get the same service elsewhere for less money. My aunt has been coming to Total Med Solutions for her laser hair removal and recommended it to me. When I found that they had a Groupon deal I decided to go ahead and give it a try. The facility is a bit difficult to find with my GPS. So I drove around the block a couple times before finding it. The facility is clean and bright. The staff is great and appointments have been either on time or just a few minutes late. I really think they over-dilute the botox when mixing. Botox is a powder that must be "mixed" with saline at time of injection. You must "trust" that it is being mixed & diluted correctly. Allergan should make pre-filled syringes that cannot be manipulated but they do not. These places are overdiluting the botox to "stretch" each bottle. My "results" barely last 1 month for $800. Will find a place that does not over- dilute. We should demand to see the vials & watch as they mix. Notice they do not allow you to watch this. Allergan should make a pre-filled syringe so you know you get what you pay for. Do not trust this place or many other places. Allergan should be ashamed for "allowing" this. Allergan makes a lot of extra money too by forcing you back for extra injections. My injections use to easily last 3 months. Here the injection effects last maybe 4 weeks. Do not trust the dilution technique they use. Read this for more info. Demand to watch as they mix up the powder/ vial fresh "new" out of box- so you know. I doubt this will occur...but you can try. My sister and I bought a groupon for laser hair removal here. After 8 painful treatments, we still have complete hair growth. After consulting with a different med spa, we chose to cancel our 9th treatment. Do not waste your money here!!!!! We spent $250 each for our hair to keep growing and to endure the pain. This is hands down my favorite place to have dermal fillers done. Not only that you can keep up the maintenance injections because they have continuous 3 month promos. Floria, the injector, definitely knows her stuff. She literally knows how to erase the years away and make the results look so natural!!! She's my beauty secret :)! A word of advice coming from someone who's done this several times: your results are at the mercy of the hand that injects them!!! Just because an injector may have a license to perform dermal injections doesn't necessarily make them fully aware how to correct the aging/asymmetrical face. Believe me, I've learned the hard way. I went to the Dallas location for Dysport for frown lines several weeks ago. Never again. I didn't get any results for the frown lines, and I can't blame the product, because I had a fantastic result when I did it once before at another spa. That's not even why I'm posting a negative review. It's the additional details that ruined the experience enough to illicit a public post. Trish took the liberty to make an additional injection in my forehead on one side because she didn't like how it looked when I raised my brows. Since she was confident and swift to act, you'd think that there would be no downside so I rolled with it, trusting her judgement. The result was my inability to raise one brow - leaving me with a lopsided expression. WHO DOES THAT? Why not mention that it'll cause asymmetry? I now occasionally get cramps/spasms in my left brow that cause it to draw downward toward my eye in a bizarre fashion. I have to push my brow up against the spasm to get it to relax, and it's extremely awkward when this occurs in front of people. I went back a week later to get her to even out the appearance once I realized what had happened, but when I inquired about why she did that to me, her callous response was that I should have known that I'd be left with a lopsided expression. It doesn't take a genius to know that I'd have refused the additional injection (I saw no point?), or asked for symmetry had I known what the outcome would be (shouldn't symmetry even be offered as an option?). She argued, conjuring a story that I requested it for a forehead wrinkle. I do NOT, and never have had lines in my forehead. I also wasn't too impressed with waiting in the building hallway as they unapologetically showed up and opened the office 10-15 minutes late. I should probably also mention that I visited TMS due to a Groupon for 60 units of Dysport. A few moments after I'd scheduled my appointment, they called me to tell me that I get only 50 units when that is NOT what the Groupon said (I didn't even mention how many the Groupon was for, so why did they feel the need to call and tell me it was only 50?). The girl was pretty firm in that it was a Groupon for 50. I even showed the front desk that it says 60 when I arrived for my appointment. After reading a couple reviews here before posting this, I now have my doubts about getting all 60 because I saw no improvement in my frown lines and they were so obstinate about it being only 50. read more
