Linzi is the best! I go to see her routinely for laser hair removal. She always makes me feel completely at ease at our sessions. I honestly wouldn't continue to put myself through the torture if she didn't make the experience as pleasant as possible Having someone that is professional and personable at the same time is a win-win! I'm thankful I found her and will continue to send referrals her way!!!

Ashley killed it!! Got my lips done today for the first time ever. I was really nervous because I didn't know what to expect that. Ashley was super nice and well spoken and gave me a clear rundown on the process. She also asked me what I personally was looking for BEFORE diving into things. I personally wanted more upper lip and definition on the stupids bow, but so also keep thing natural and even. It was definitely painful, but worth it. After it was done, she gave me the mirror and I was a little skeptical because my lips were so puffy, I was like in shock because it was so new. But it's 8 hours since and they look great! Check out my photos.

Weight loss journey! 33 BMI to 23 BMI Semaglutide injections. Dr. Shipes

Dr. Sherryl Shipes found a solution to my huge lifelong weight problem and my A1C regulation. Her knowledge and calm understanding of weight struggles put you at ease. I've tried every diet. Started my journey May of 2022. Dr. Shipes explained how these injections assist you by sending signals to the appetite center in your brain to reduce hunger and increase fullness. It works!!! I'm wearing small clothes now! Pictures after 8 months. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! HURST LOCATION

Let me tell y'all about my girl ELIZABETH. Where can i begin? I have never had plastic surgery of any shape or form so I was a newbie! First of all, I was late to my appointment because there was a wreck on 35 and Elizabeth still took the time to properly do my entire consultation and answer all of my questions before the juviderm lip injections. I told her I wanted a natural look. Once we got into the procedure room.. Elizabeth was very kind and walked me through what she was doing as she was doing it. It did not hurt and she was even upfront and told me where I might experience bruising. I loved her honesty, professionalism, & COMPASSION. I will be back!!!! Thank you so much Elizabeth.

This is the difference between someone who knows what they are doing and someone who doesn't.

Elizabeth is phenomenal! Her work is incredible and her attitude and presence is nothing but professional! I have been to get my lips done somewhere else before and was not impressed with the work or the atmosphere. This was a great experience!

So I found out about total med solutions from Groupon. I called and the receptionist who answered was very informational, she told me all of my options and what she could do for me. I really believe in first impressions on the phone, especially when it comes to a health and wellness institution. Total med solutions really impressed me with their kindness over the phone. I called in regards to their lip fillers and needless to say it was such an easy process. Based on the yelp reviews that I saw.... I noticed that Lauren the Esthetician was perhaps my best option. Lauren had some of the best yelp reviews about her. Getting lip fillers is a scary process for me knowing I hate needles, especially on such a sensitive area. When I made my appointment over the phone, it was a smooth and easy process. Getting to the actual office was pretty easy as there is parking right in front of the building. Parking is free as long as you don't spend more than an hour in the spot.(towing Enforced) When I walked in I was immediately greeted. ( it was a Wednesday afternoon). A girl in glasses, the receptionist, was super nice and told me all I needed to do was fill out 3 to 4 pages of new patient paperwork. The paperwork was easy and I actually got called in right after I turned in the paperwork ...it was super fast. I met Lauren and she was so enthusiastic and completely professional and answered all of my questions. I felt like I was asking stupid questions but she made me feel really comfortable and that speaks volumes about her service. Lauren seems To be a veteran in this field, she really knows what she's doing, and when I did the lip fillers it was not as scary as I thought. She made me feel very comfortable and it did not hurt at all. It was fast I could not have been in the office more than 35minutes. ( & yes they do apply a numbing solution on your lips before hand, like Vaseline consistency, before injecting) Total med solutions will let you pay the Groupon price in office or via Groupon for the price you see on Groupon. However if it is a red price on Groupon then you must pay The price on Groupon and bring the voucher to total med solutions. I only paid 399 for one syringe. I will be coming back as I was very happy with my results.

Instead of answering my questions, the conversation turned into trying to get me to pay $100 nonrefundable deposit to book a consultation for my questions. As a potential client, I don't think it's unreasonable to want basic information before committing money to a consultation. I repeatedly tried to get answers to my questions so I could determine whether their services were a good fit and within my budget. Unfortunately, I never received the information I was asking for. What made the experience even more frustrating was that once it became clear I wasn't ready to pay the deposit without additional information, communication essentially stopped. Rather than addressing my concerns or answering my questions, I was ghosted. The entire interaction felt more focused on securing a deposit than helping a potential customer make an informed decision. Maybe their services are great, but based on my experience, customer communication and transparency during the inquiry process were disappointing.

I went to a dermatologist and somehow ended up in an escape room…read more The objective was simple: figure out what was actually wrong with me before the medical team did. I initially presented with a lesion on my foot. A biopsy was performed, pathology was reviewed, and I was told it was benign. Great news. I left believing the issue had been properly diagnosed and managed. Months later, that confidence began to unravel. One provider looked at the lesion and seemed uncertain. Another openly expressed confusion. Another questioned whether the pathology report actually supported the original diagnosis. Watching multiple professionals within the same practice disagree about the same case was not reassuring. It was alarming. Then came the plot twist. The diagnosis changed. What I had originally been told was benign was ultimately diagnosed as Kaposi Sarcoma. To be clear, medicine is complicated. Rare cases happen. Pathology can be challenging. No reasonable patient expects perfection. What patients do expect is communication, coordination, and accountability when something significant changes. Instead, I was left WITHOUT HELP managing my own case! I found my own specialists. I pursued additional opinions. I coordinated records. I researched next steps. I followed up when communication stopped. Literally THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME RECORDS OR REPLY TO ANY QUESTIONS OR EMAILS! At times it felt less like receiving medical care and more like being assigned a full-time project. The emotional impact of being told "it's benign" and later hearing "you have cancer" is difficult to describe. It is the kind of news that changes the way you think, sleep, and process every interaction that follows. What made the experience even more frustrating was that once I entered a different medical office - the difference was immediate and obvious. Doctors reviewed pathology, ordered imaging, discussed strategy, coordinated care, answered questions, and treated the situation with the seriousness it deserved. They also treated me with respect. NO homophobic accusations, never called me a liar and never made me feel like a second class citizen. Most importantly, they treated me like a human being. That contrast highlighted everything that had been missing. I also experienced interactions that left me feeling dismissed, judged, and disrespected. As a gay man, there were comments and behaviors that were biased and inappropriate. Whether intentional or not, the result was the same: I left feeling less like a patient and more like a problem. I was gay shammed and called a liar multiple times. Not everyone at the practice was responsible for that experience. In fact, one physician assistant (in Plano) and one physician were excellent. They were compassionate, professional, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, they were the exception rather than the rule. By the end of this process, it was the emotional toll, confusion and self-managed care that I had to go through without ANY support. My other concern was the lack of consistency, communication, and ownership once it became clear something more serious was happening. If you need routine skincare, your experience may be completely different from mine. But if your situation ends up complex, unusual, or potentially serious, my experience raises important questions about communication, coordination, and patient advocacy. If you are gay - just stay away. The lesson I took away is one I never expected to learn: Its 2026 and regardless of a medical degree, some people are still hateful, rude, disgusting and will not provide you the medical care you deserve.
