We invested over $300,000 into a major landscape transformation, and from start to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and beyond our expectations. Stenson's team was incredible to work with. They were always on time, professional, and truly masters of their craft. Their design ideas were not only creative but also functional, ensuring that every element--from the retaining walls to the irrigation system, plants, trees, and outdoor living spaces--was perfectly placed and built to last. The transformation is breathtaking! The stone pathways, fire pit, and outdoor seating areas have become our new favorite gathering spaces. The landscape lighting adds a warm and inviting glow at night, making our backyard feel like a private retreat. And thanks to their top-notch irrigation system, everything stays green and lush with minimal effort on our part. We couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall experience working with Stenson Landscaping & Irrigation. If you're looking for a company that delivers expert design, quality work, and a stress-free process, look no further. Highly recommend!

Above and beyond, amazing work, and so nice!…read more We texted Marco when we had a dead tree that needed to be replaced, and he replied right away. He came out the next day, right on time (even texted when he was on the way), and gave us a free estimate. He was clear and detailed about next steps - calling 811, picking out a tree, etc. He was back a few days later, with the tree we picked out, and got to work! He dug out the old tree, planted the new one, cleaned up impeccably, and then gave us instructions on how to keep the new tree healthy. He charged exactly what he quoted, and was so so helpful the whole way through.

Called several contractors and Clayton was by far the most honest, optimistic and committed to the scope of work required. Because there was an obvious "unknown" as to the scope of work the quote was provided in tiers that identified clear thresholds that "if" we have to do this "then" we're into this tier of expense. To my absolute amazement, he did NOT make it to the top tier. That's honesty right there! The quote itself was extremely detailed and allowed us to clearly understand the work, the expense and provided the opportunity to adjust as necessary. Clayton shared he was in the United State Marine Corps which explains the detail provided, honesty and absolutely NO nonsense approach with his crew and/or contractors. Thank you for your service Clayton! During the work Clayton stayed in constant contact keep me informed as what the plans were for the following days, who should be accessing the back yard to work on the project and when the rains came (and the rains did come) he identified in advance when the crew would not be present. Bottom line, 100% satisfaction with MRZ Contracting. Look at the reviews here in Yelp...5 stars for more than a couple dozen reviews and for a contractor never-the-less. That surely puts MRZ Contracting in elite company in the real work and when considering them for your work I would strong recommend you at least obtain a quote from them and let the chips fall where they may after that.

The next day they came out and we were waiting on the sod. They are really highly self motivated. While waiting they just started to weed back and edge my front yard. The sod showed up and they went straight to work on the installation. These guys worked their back sides off. They had extra sod, so they prepped another area and installed the rest of the sod. They did an outstanding job. I don't have enough words to explain how good this crew is. This 5,000 sq ft of sod. I have 35,000 sq ft of back yard and hired Evergreen Lawn and Land scape. We worked with Pablo Vela of Perfect Synthetic Grass to install artificial turf in our backyard…read more We are very pleased. Pablo offered competitive prices, was very informed, kept us updated along the way and really knows his business. We needed beds built before installing our turf. Other companies we talked to were not able to offer that service but Pablo did that for us, as well as landscaping the new bed and other areas of our yard. We now love our backyard and our kids are able to actually use the backyard without getting muddy. I would choose Pablo and his team again. They are competitively priced, offer high quality products and are meticulous about clean and correct installation. Five Stars!

This was a perfect case of the old saying, you get what you pay for. Pablo is a nice guy but I…read moredon't really think he understood that I had a fair amount of knowledge of how dog turf was installed. I do. I only hired him because I didn't have the time or inclination to do the work myself. There were also a couple of times I don't feel he was being honest with me. (I have the internet too and lying about stores being sold out of stuff is something I can check. )Bottom line, what I got wasn't what he said would be done. 1. Area was not leveled so.. there are low spots where water gathers and does not drain during rainy periods. 2. His crew left gates open, trash and tools laying around during non-working times including razors, staples and nails. 3. Tool 3 weeks to complete, not the 3 days he claimed. This was probably due to the crew showing up around mid day and leaving around 4pm. There are a few petty items but you get the idea. The positive is that I saved about 3k .. but feel I will need it redone in the low spots.. sooo.. I'll see what that adds to the cost. Overall, it's much better than I had and the dogs are happy... but they're dogs so.. it's their dad that has the issues I suppose.

We ran into some permit issues. With the project half done, our project manager wouldn't answer his phone for weeks, his voicemail was full, wouldn't answer texts. We were in the dark. I think they finally pushed it through just to get our money, but did a terrible job finishing up. Mismatched rock, large concrete stains on our driveway, shoddy workmanship (unfinished, warped wood planks that will leave you with a hand full of splinters if you touch it, mismatched stain) on the air conditioning fence, sand all over the patio, no sealant. But they wanted their money, now, now, NOW. This after no answered for phone calls for weeks. Terrible experience. I wouldn't refer a neighbor I couldn't stand to this company. So unprofessional. This had nothing to do with covid. This was just bad business practices and zero integrity.
