Julio and Balde were fantastic with details, precise, and extremely clean. They were so thoughtful with our toddler at home, always warning us before making noise so they wouldn't disturb his naps. I…read morehad a mediocre experience with our upstairs bathroom remodel and wanted to do it right this time. I saw Daniel and his company, TruBlue of Allen, got great reviews everywhere I looked so I reached out. He agreed to meet me the next day and came and always had a smile on his face and a "can-do" attitude. He showed confidence and I could tell he has done this many times. We agreed on his very reasonable estimate and the project began! I wanted to completely remove our existing shower and tub and make the tub are our new shower and the previous shower would become a an area for storage. He showed up to help me get tile and we got a great mix of tiles for our bathroom and we couldn't be happier! Fernando helped with all the tiling and a separate group of guys helped with the finishings and drywalls. Daniel's plumber is fantastic and you can tell that all these workers pay attention to detail and have worked in nice homes and do great work. This was so different than my previous experience which was mediocre. As the project finished, we were just so happy and I don't think you could get a better result in the very reasonable price range that Daniel offers. Nothing but great things to say about our experience. As with all things, stay in communication and make sure you are talking to the day-to-day workers as well as Daniel. They will bring your vision to life! Please see my photos from the beginning to end. Thanks so much to Daniel and his team!

Called several contractors and Clayton was by far the most honest, optimistic and committed to the scope of work required. Because there was an obvious "unknown" as to the scope of work the quote was provided in tiers that identified clear thresholds that "if" we have to do this "then" we're into this tier of expense. To my absolute amazement, he did NOT make it to the top tier. That's honesty right there! The quote itself was extremely detailed and allowed us to clearly understand the work, the expense and provided the opportunity to adjust as necessary. Clayton shared he was in the United State Marine Corps which explains the detail provided, honesty and absolutely NO nonsense approach with his crew and/or contractors. Thank you for your service Clayton! During the work Clayton stayed in constant contact keep me informed as what the plans were for the following days, who should be accessing the back yard to work on the project and when the rains came (and the rains did come) he identified in advance when the crew would not be present. Examples: a chandelier over the tub was mounted to a plastic box sitting directly on ceiling drywall with the cable unsecured along the attic floor; several items required rework, including a custom vanity with an off-center sink cabinet, unlevel countertops, and visibly slanted shelves; the plumbing work had multiple problems and the plumber and his sister were fired. Ther are many, many other things I could mention. The project took over eight months instead of the four promised, with work gaps of days and sometimes weeks. I met with the PM three times to create a timeline, but they fell behind every time. The only reason he gave was schedule conflicts with other jobs. One positive: Guillermo and Jose were responsive and fully guaranteed their work. They made sure I was satisfied with the end product before ending the project.

The project manager and even the owner were available to respond to questions seven days a week. At the end of every day they provided a progress report along with what to expect the following day. They made regular visits to my house to inspect the work in progress. Even after completion of the project they stayed in touch to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. All the workers were courteous and professional. Each day they carefully cleaned the work and adjacent areas. At the end of the project a housecleaning service thoroughly cleaned and touched up. It amazes me how other companies and individuals didn't respond to my inquiries or ghosted me after promising to provide a quote. Importantly, ICO is local with brick and mortar offices in the metroplex. I would be leery of all those virtual companies who devote most of their resources to sales and marketing and then sub the work to random contractors.
