Very pleased with the installation of our pool safely net and leaf cover. Our installer, Santos, arrived on time ( he had to drive 3 hours to get here!) was very informative, and did an excellent job. It was a large job for one person, but he worked quickly and finished it in one day. He took the time to fully explain and demonstrate how to install and remove both the net and leaf cover, then made sure I was able to do it myself. Called to try to setup an appointment to get a quote and was routed to some answering service. I hesitantly left my info for them to contact me to set something up. Two days later I missed their call back and when I tried to call back minutes later they had no trace of me in their system(phone number, email, etc). When I replied to their email saying they had no trace of me in their system, they responded that I must've had my fence installed by an independent vendor. So basically they thought I was calling for a warranty repair and this was their way of handling it. I responded to their message letting them know I was looking to get a quote and didn't hear back. We had a Katchakid "net" installed within days of purchasing our home 2 years ago. I was on the fence about putting up a fence and gate vs the tension net. The cost was about the same , but i wasn't to hip to the idea of drilling holes into my deck and having a eyesore of a net strung across the pool, not to mention, the hassle of putting it on and taking it off. I spoke with Danielle Rezende and she walked me through the pro's and con's of them both. She brought up things i had not thought about. For example, a child will not be able to remove a tension. Even with the tool that is needed. i am a big guy and I might be able to remove it without the tool, but it would require a TON of strength...this does not make the net fail proof, but it does make it pretty close to foolproof. With a fence, a crafty kid (I happen to have one) would only need to move over a piece of furniture or some other item, next to the fence, and climb over. That was all that needed be said. They came over and installed it in a couple of hours. At the end of the installation, the young man took about 2 minutes to show explain how to put on and take off. He wasn't rushing me, it just only took 2 minutes. That night, I went to put it on. It was hot, and I was tired. I was recovering from strep throat and was just worn out. It was the first time I put the net on and I say it took me about 20 minutes and was not that difficult. within a week, i had it down. It takes me about 10 minutes to put it on now, and i would say 5 minutes of that is due to the landscaping obstacles that i have to maneuver around. The leave cover that I put on in the winter takes about 10 minutes as well. Guess what, it looks pretty cool when its on. It gives me the peace of mind for when my 2 year old is out with my 5 year old. Of course I am watching, but having life guarded for years, I know how quickly things can happen. Now 2 years later, we just had the deck resurfaced. When the company did the work, the covered one of the anchors for the net. We were getting ready to go out of state for vacation for a week and I was in a panic. what if something happened while we were gone?? I called Danielle Rezende, she said her install guy would be in the are the next day, and then asked if my gate would be unlocked? The next day, by the time i realized he was there to re drill the anchor, he was gone. I was going to take some water out to him and the work was done. I called Danielle Rezende to ask how much I needed to pay, and was told not to worry about it. I cannot imagine, that if she would have actually billed me, that it would have been that much to begin with. Maybe a trip charge or something... and totally justified and I would have gladly paid. The point is, that she took care of me. I would still be writing this same review had there been a charge. I am that pleased with all of my dealings with her and the company. I work in the real estate business (Danielle Rezende is not aware of that, so there is no agenda for referrals from my clients) and deal with a lot of homes with pools. I will go out of my way to make sure that if anyone is even considering ANY type of pool safety feature, that they reach out to Danielle Rezende!!!! read more
