They lure you in with a discounted price and verbally promise to complete all work. Once on‑site, they cut corners. Tasks they verbally agreed to include were later claimed to be excluded from the service. To make matters worse, they threatened to call the police if I did not pay. They even claimed they did not inspect the backyard during their quote visit. Excuse me? We explicitly mentioned both front and back yards over the phone, and they confirmed the price covered both yards. I have hired numerous yard‑work contractors before, and this is by far my worst experience. Because their cleanup was incomplete, we requested them to come back for re‑cleaning. After an argument, they did show up to do the additional work. However, during this follow‑up cleanup, they still refused to perform the bush-cutting and debris‑removal they had verbally promised. When we followed up to check on the status, they completely ignored our messages and only kept demanding payment. Too busy to argue further, we simply paid the bill to resolve the situation. Since we do not live at that property, we were vulnerable to their tactics. Full of pitfalls. Stay far away. I am writing this off as an expensive lesson.

I have an acre, and much of the backyard surrounding the pool and walkways was done in travertine stone, altogether a couple of thousand square feet. I had extensive flood damage to the stone in the last 2 years. Much of the stone had to be removed and reset or replaced, of course with a completely new stone bed and mortar. In addition I had a broken area of my driveway that needed to be redone with concrete pavers. The masons finished their job about a week ago and I was just amazed at how meticulous they were. I have done complete remodels, including extensive landscaping, on six different houses, and the paving work done by Cabrera was so far superior to any other crew I have hired that there is really no second best. They were head and shoulders above all the others. They were absolute perfectionists, and did not rush at all. What was originally thought to take 3 days or so turned into a 5-day job for a three man crew, but there was not a bit of complaining from anyone. They did not try to increase the charge because of the unanticipated extra labor. The owner of the company was always available and always responsive to any question. What I have today is a hardscape that is far superior to the original installation done 10 years ago. This is a company, family owned, that I will keep on my list for any landscaping needs in the future.
