Irina is amazing! It was my first visit and the vibe was welcoming and friendly I went in July a couple hours before they were closing and she fit me right in. The goal was to start the process of removing the pink hair color and transition to brown with highlights. She went above and beyond. Irina started with a partial per my request, but we decided to do a full weave of highlights and lowlights. I've never seen a stylist foil as fast as her! I'm calling today to see about my touch up highlights and see about extensions. There may not be a lot of pictures here, but I have been complimented by at least 4 cosmetologist about my highlights being on point. read more

I came in for a hydrofacial a few days ago with lora? After the visit I realized that I still had the same amount of black heads and didn't see any difference. The hydrofacial felt like stab and pull, maybe go a little gentle next time. Felt like she was in a hurry! The appointment is 1 hour long however, I only got a service for 30min. And the rest 30min. She talking/promoting her products and how knowledgeable she is! I only get facials once in a great while to get relaxed. This was definitely not it! read more

I went here around October for a small trim and color, and left in tears. It was my first time getting my hair professionally done, so I was very excited. I can't remember who my stylist was but she ended up not doing what I asked for whatsoever. I wanted a very small trim (just the split ends) and a dye. I previously had black and red stripes and wanted to go fully purple, so I made sure to show her example pictures of the color I desired. She said okay and immediately started, which I had no problem with but she did not inform me on the process at all. For some reason she just slapped on the purple right over the red and black, which I didn't expect. No bleach at all. It ended up looking very muddy and grayish which I was very sad about. Afterwards, when she was "trimming" my hair, she randomly cut my bangs and made them very thick. I had finally gotten my bangs how I wanted after MONTHS of fixing them and she completely botched them. I did not ask for my bangs to be cut at all. Overall I would not recommend, my hair is still messed up after all these months and I've never felt more insecure. :( read more

Just one of those days when you feel like you want to pamper yourself and do a walk-in instead of scheduling for an appointment. I called different salons if they were able to accommodate me but every salon is by appointment especially for a balayage. I called Total Image Salon and voila! They asked me come right away. I was very pleased with the end result. Irina really did a great job. She was very honest to tell me that it is going to be hard since my hair is dark and I want it to be the lightest it can be. But it really turned out good. I will for sure come back for their service. read more

Lara does all the skin stuff you will ever need. First introduction to her. I was getting my hair done. Asked if she could squeeze me in when done. She said $95 I will make you very happy. She was correct. It was like 5 facials, she goes all the way down to your fingers, all the way from your knees to you toes. I was so impressed I told my friend. The second time she went she tried this new thingy that zaps stem cells under your skin. Basically the fountain of youth. I can't say enough good about her. The only draw back is her accent is thick. I really like this salon! I started going there for my nails to be done and Larysa is doing amazing job!!! My nails look amazing!!! I also decided to give a try for the facials. I am in my late 30s and I was always a little nervous about going to the cosmetologist because I wasn't sure if the person will do good job on my face. Cosmetologist Lora is very knowledgeable and professional. I could see the results after the first time. She was explaining everything she was doing. She explained me how I should take care of my skin in my situation. I really see huge improvement on my face. I also started going with my teenage daughter who had really bad acne and little scars because of it. And I am amazed with the results. Her skin looks so clean right now! When I started coming here last year I was nervous, but she put me at ease, I had my hair dyed brown, and she went in and did amazing high lights and low lights! I left feeling like a million bucks! Nelli did a great job giving me a haircut, by far one of my favorite haircuts. The place is very clean, no hair from previous customers laying around, everything is very organized and cleaned up. Olesya is a nails master ,does just an incredible job! She made my nails done today and they are just ideal.I live in San Francisco where ppl have no idea what a good pedicure is. Once a month I go to Sacramento for work and I will always visit this place to make my nails done:) I found my master! I made an appointment for my teenage daughter to have her hair cut and colored. When I made the appointment over the phone in advance, I explained that it was an undercut and that her hair was short and that she wanted to have her top long layer fade to blonde. We arrived for her appointment and stood in the doorway at the front desk for five minutes before anyone looked up or asked why we were there. I had called on my way there to tell them we would be there shortly and to verify that she still had an appointment. It seemed odd that nobody greeted us when we walked in. After 5 minutes, finally someone acknowledged us, and got the hairdresser that was supposed to do my daughter's hair. She looked at her short hair and said she can't do short haircuts. But offered to do the color. I'm not sure where the misunderstanding happened but it was definitely a waste of my time because I was not going to have her color her hair without the hair being cut. Her hair was way too long for the cut she wanted. I didn't want to waste expensive color. Needless to say I was not happy. I walked out. It may have been A language barrier situation but I don't understand why they would make a haircut appointment at a place that can't do short haircuts. What salon doesn't do short haircuts? I will never go there again. read more

The sign said "walk in welcome" and this prooved to be false. When I walked in with my daughter I was not greeted instead I was ignored by all the staff members, including this tiny blond cutting a gentleman's hair. I figured it might be because they were with clients so I waited politely to be addressed. Then she acknowledged a male who came into the shop 10 minutes after I had and spoke to him in Russian, then he took a seat. Maybe it's because I was a woman or that I am not Russian, not sure. I still waited politely with my daughter, maybe that guy had an appointment? Another woman walked in and had to vocalize herself to be addressed by this little hair dresser who proceeded to tell her "we don't accept walk ins. And gave her a card." ... I was put back by how rude this hair stylist was and quickly how she sent a potential client out the door. I walked out with the woman who was turned away, she mentioned to me she had even tried calling earlier that morning. This is pretty poor customer service and flat out bad business. Do not market on your front door walk ins are welcome when they are not. At least acknowledge those who do walk in instead of ignoring people!! read more
