The amount of kindness she puts out in this tough world never goes unnoticed and I enjoy sitting in her chair every 3 or so months! She's such a girls girl and just always makes me feel welcomed even though I never do anything different with my hair than highlight it lol. I came here just to get a haircut. Doesn't have very good parking. It was busy and full. I showed a few pics to the lady who did my cut. She did a decent job....but it didn't really come off as I would have liked. She didn't make any mistakes like the cut was fine but I look at it and it's just 'meh'. She didn't do a bad job but it wasn't that great either. It's really hard to find a good stylist tho so I'd come back if I haven't found some place better. read more

I've been going here for two years now, and can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff are great, the quality of work is awesome, and I never leave without a little something for my wife or daughter from the boutique. Today and tomorrow they are having a Valentines day event. I brought my daughter (8 years old) and was greeted with champagne with strawberry's. Amazing! While my hair was being cut, my little girl got to create a Valentines charm bracelet from the custom bracelet bar. There were refreshments and the atmosphere was pretty awesome!! I had a wonderful experience for my first time attending this salon & an even better one with my stylist! Shantel was thorough, made sure to explain everything prior to doing any change on my hair & made sure i was comfortable the entire way through ! Shantel was kind, and made an effort to make me feel as though I could talk to her as a friend which was comforting considering i was going to be there for a little while. I am in love with the results & can't recommend Shantel enough !The atmosphere of the salon is relaxing & they are attentive to their customers. Although I did not have an appointment, I called that morning & they were able to check to see if anyone was available for me. They were able to fit me in that afternoon! Yes yes yes!!!! I usually fly to Southern California to get my hair done but as you can see by the before pic, I haven't made that flight in a while. I've really been putting off finding a new hairstylist because in the past it's never been a fun process for me. Well I had an important work trip to Dallas next week and so I rolled the dice and boy that I get lucky! My stylist was Shantel. Not only is her skill set above par, she's also an extremely lovely human being. She took the time to understand my hair. She gave me several different options on techniques we could use to get it back to where I want it. I'm so happy with the one that we chose! I love everything about the final product. I went here for the first time to get a short pixie cut and some highlights. Nicole was my stylist and she was absolutely wonderful! She was so attentive to making sure my hair was perfect. She was so friendly and we talked and laughed while she did my hair. This salon has a beautiful ambiance, good music, and even sells some really cute clothing in the shop. I believe they also offer beverages but I had brought my own water with me. The space is wide open and bright and the front desk staff is also very friendly and pleasant. Still a winner! I've been coming to Runway and having Lexi take care of my hair for 2 1/2 years. In that time, Lexi has of course become an even better stylist, and a friend too. The staff at the salon, from Janice at the desk to the young assistants who fill in for shampoos, to the experts who color and cut, is friendly and professional. I have been going to Alyssa for my cut and color for a few years now and she is fabulous. The salon is clean and Alyssa is very flexible with scheduling for me. The salon is cute, although I did like it before they started bringing in clothes as it is a little cluttered in the front with not a lot of seating while you wait. Parking also can be an issue as the main lot is usually full because of shangri La parking. I would LOVE someone to repaint "reserved for runway only parking" for the evening appointments since it's hard to see now. Highly recommend. read more

I went to Runway salon for the first time yesterday and was scheduled in with Taylor. I called on Sunday and was in the chair on Thursday! I was nervous because the only and last time I had my hair professionally done the stylist complained the whole time about how much hair I had. Runway Salon was totally different. From the moment I stepped in the receptionist Jeanette set a warm and welcoming tone. When I sat down with Taylor she asked about my hairs history and for a picture of what I wanted. Taylor is an absolute angel. It took from about 10:15 am till 3:00 pm to do my hair. Not once did she complain or drop her smile. She had some help taking out the foils from two others working at the salon and they were so kind. My hair came out even better then I expected and will 10000% be going back. I called this morning to see if they had any availability after seeing the great reviews on here, the lady who answered the phone was delightful and attentive. They were able to squeeze me in at 5pm even though their hours said they closed at 5. I got there a little early and waited while my stylist finished up, while I waited the receptionist as well as the owner offered me a drink and assured me my stylist would be with me shortly. When my stylist, Krissy was ready she came and introduced herself and apologized for the wait (I wasn't worried about it at all). She was so sweet and did exactly what I wanted but even better! I rarely leave a haircut feeling like I actually got the look I was expecting but Krissy killed it and we had a great conversation, time flew by! I will be back! :) read more

She listened to what I wanted, looked at pictures I had saved on my phone, then with technical skills delivered exactly what I had in mind. Krystal does amazing work! I went in with a botched home box dye job I did myself after trying to correct my own hair color. My hair was damaged from a previous hair stylist at a different salon who did highlights and burned and broke my hair off! Krystal was able to fix my hair color, trimmed and deep conditioned my hair and it looks beautiful now! I can't believe she was able to fix it thank goodness! This was an impromptu visit. I was waiting for my car to be serviced so I looked up salons in the area. I called and I was lucky enough that they scheduled me in. When I walked in a really pretty woman welcomed me and said that Caroline will be with me shortly. Caroline walked up and cheerily greeted me. She took em back and I started discussing my hair. When I showed her a picture of what I was looking at she said "great! This is my specialty!" I was super happy. Caroline wasn't lying! She hooked it up so proper that I haven't been this happy since my old regular hairstylist moved away! She did everything I asked and it looks beautiful.
