I came to Karve wanting to be more toned, become strong but not bulky, get better posture, and to have a workout that challenges me without being high-impact or rough on my joints. All of those wishes have come true with Karve, and I have lost extra weight as well. It has also significantly increased my core strength-- it shows in the way I do other exercises, my posture, and how my clothes now fit better. Every day is a little bit different and each instructor has their own teaching style, so the workouts are never repetitive. The environment is so supportive and I always look forward to seeing familiar faces in class. I drive all the way from Provo to Lindon to attend these classes because they are simply that stellar. I expressed that I was no longer interested in their studio as I didn't want to be pressured into scheduling an appointment, and their lack of professional boundaries. They got extremely defensive and claimed that they are supposed to contact people more than once a day in order to schedule appointments. When I said I will contact management about my experience they said I am no longer welcome at their studio and that they hope I get the "support and resources" I need.

It was self check in and the instructor was talking to someone else when I got settled. But nothing after class either. So great place to slip in and out of. I did like they had deodorant and dry shampoo. They also have showers but bring a towel or I did see some up front you can probably rent. The other thing is the cold towels smelled like chlorine, would be nice if they used some essential oils. I'd return though.

We did a trio class with Lindsay and boy did she jump right in. We started with the chair and it was challenging but felt good. We didn't do too much on the reformer but did enough to test it out. She was attentive to each of us (who had different levels or adjustments needed) and was constantly providing adjustments. It was a fulfilling hour-long class that made us want more (really! We wanted to see if we could squeeze it into our trip again on our remaining days) The space was clean and beautiful with heated floors and nice facilities. Glad we tried here and would love to return on any trips back!

However, I will say that the number of calls, texts and voicemails you get from them are quite bothersome. They kept trying to contact me to signup for a membership, and even wanted me to confirm that I'm coming to my class even after signing my waiver. It was a little too much and overwhelming for me. Their price is around $200/month for unlimited Pilates. They also offer other options for payment. One which is $89 for 4 classes. Also, don't forget your initial enrolment fee that costs like $140?! I'd say this is quite expensive as a workout, but if you're really invested in Pilates, it might be worth it!
