FatCats on a Saturday night wasn't too busy, which was nice! We paid for a package that included bowling, a pizza, and some arcade credits. Bowling is fun and it's a very typical lane setup. The animations are pretty dated, but that's not very important. The pizza was very average and kind of small for four of us, so we decided to order mozzarella sticks, fries and chicken strips. But no! The fryer was broken, so the only option was another pizza, but luckily, Costa Vida was next door. The kids were disappointed, but we moved on to arcade games after we finished bowling. There are some fun arcade games, but several we wanted to play were out of order. Skee ball was fun, but the basketball game was also broken. Overall, everyone was helpful and service was great, plus the prices are reasonable. We would go back for bowling but would probably choose somewhere else for more food and arcade game options. read more

I like that you can pay and rent by the hour and food is brought to you when you order it and the different games you can play as you interact with other bowlers in your party and the many different weights of bowling balls is always appreciated. My only suggestion is that they replace half of their bowling balls because their chips cracked missing pieces and some of the finger holes are sharp and the air dryer wall return wasn't working. read more

After an average first date bowling, we were walking out when Luke stopped and asked "Would you rather be able to speak to dolphins or be fluent in Moris Code?" This brilliant question was the start to an enlightening and deeply healing conversation. His holistic approach to elevating people's dates was sincerely awe inspiring! He helped us feel seen, not just as a customer, but as a person. Who knew bowling came with free psychiatric services. We laughed, we cried, no stone was left unturned. Took grandson to play video games. Many didn't work. Old run down games. People at the bowling/food counter were curt and semi rude like they were put out to help. Probably would not recommend to anyone. Will be back to use up cards as we only used 1/3 credits purchased. read more

We came in an hour before Close to pay for 1 hour of bowling and they refused service telling us "the registers are closed for the night"! If that's really the case and they close their registers at 9:45pm then update your operation hours on your wed site! The employees proceeded to bowl as we walked out! Wasted my time coming just to have service refused and watch the employees bowl on shift! read more

During the summer Fat Cats has a 99 cent deal that makes them better priced than other bowling alleys. It is 99 cents per bowler per game and 99 cent shoe rental. In comparison, a different bowling alley is 4$ per bowler per game plus a 2$ shoe rental fee. So essentially three people can bowl at Fat Cats for the price you would pay for one bowler at a different alley. We had 3 bowlers and played 2 games and it was still less than ten bucks. The bowling balls are nicely organized by size. Each rack is a different size, starting with x-small over on the right side of the shoe counter, all the way to xx-large by the last lane. They also have a virtual reality room that is new since the last time I went to fat cats (it used to be the playplace for the restaurant that is attached to Fat Cats). read more

Horrible. Online 4th of July hours shows they close at 7pm. I brought my kids to bowl at 4:30 and they said they were closing at 5 due to it being slow. So i guess they just close whenever they feel like it no matter what their hours should be. And all the staff said was sorry our manager is making us close at 5. Has got to be one of the worst bowling experiences i have ever had. The pins were never set after each person so we would have to manually over ride it after each person. The balls never came back so we would have to get a new ball after every roll. They even got our food order wrong! Just not a great experience at all! read more

When it comes to a bowling alley, are you ever really going to find a place that doesn't seem at least a little grungy and run down? I have never found one, so if you have, please enlighten me! That being said, yes this place seems a bit run down and grungy. However, they recently did some remodeling that has been a big upgrade and made room for more seating. They've got fun lights and music. It is very inexpensive and they have always got fun little deals and specials going on. If you want to go bowling, I think this is the best place to go in Provo. read more

We went bowling at your facility on Saturday and it was the worst experience. Your bowling lane is falling apart. None of the children bumpers work so they had to be propped up with a bowling pin. The balls were so old with cracks and big chunks out of them they hobbled down the lane. The hand sanitizers were all empty. (Do you know how gross it is to touch the sanitizer machine that hundreds of other people have touched only to get no hand sanitizer?) I wanted to get a Monster drink. The line was 16 people long with only one cash register open. I needed to get change because you're machine is so old it only takes coins. So I went across the parking lot and got $2.50 in change and came back. I put in all the coins and made my selection of Monster drinks only to be informed that that selection was not available. There was no out light on any choice. I did this three times before the soda dispensing machine automatically refunded my money after so many unavailable selections. I got no drink. You were understaffed, the bowling alley is falling apart and no one refilled the Monsters. Your service is horrible. read more

My husband and I love fat cats. Last summer they had a 99 cents per game deal so we started doing that when we were bored. Since then, we've used a coupon on the coupon calendar app that is $5 for shoe rental, 1 hr bowling, French fries and a drink. We've done that three times now and are now inviting friends to come so we can use the coupon some more! I've never gone without some sort of deal, so it is way more affordable than anywhere else. Good old fashion fun is to be had here. It is definitely not as robust as its sister stores in SLC and Rexburg, but it still is a solid spot that always seems to be busy. They have pretty solid deals throughout the week on bowling. The arcade space is small, but we enjoy shooting some pool here sometimes after bowling. read more

The machine broke 2 frames into the game and they did not fix it. Workers were nice but pretty bad lanes...

The worst! No score sheets so we can keep our own score, and the machine routinely takes pins from you. Example: we take down 7 pins on the first ball, it gives us 5. I certainly hope there is no league play here! For the money they charge, they should be ashamed of themselves. They could at least have offered to move us to a different lane. Instead, they just kept inviting us to come up to the counter to have them change the incorrect scoring each frame . . . WHAT A RIP-OFF!!! read more

Okay I'm not one to think that bowling places are awesome, but this place was awesome. I think it was the staff that really made the experience great for us. We had some issues with our lane before we even started bowling so the staff gave us free sodas and moved us to a new lane. So we were just happy with that! Then THAT lane had a hard time setting up the pins on the 9th frame. So the staff gave us a free game for each of us in the group!!! They were so nice!! Honestly they had the lane fixed in less than a minute but they still gave us the game. How awesome is that! Overall, our group had a fantastic time! read more

Listen Fatcats is usually a good place to go for a date family night whatever but I have to write a review because customer service goes a long way. Me and my friends went in on a Thursday night I understand it's a busy place this kind of night so we would have to wait. The girl at the front desk who works Thursday nights I guess couldn't be more disrespectful. Like I get it working that late as a college student sucks but at least act like you enjoy your job instead of being rude to people who walk in. She says" There's no lanes sorry, and we can't tell you how long since it's unlimited sorry" yeah a nice empathy training would be good for this place. I want to give you guys another chance but this girl needs to be nicer and not so passive aggressive. read more

The employees are underpaid, and it shows. The actual interior is dirty and much of the facilities are broken. The biggest issue though is the bowling lanes literally do not work. At least once a turn a pin would get knocked by the machine and it would ruin that persons score. Save your money, go somewhere good. read more
