I was stressed out about the increasing roach activity at my place but was skeptical about effectiveness of hiring an exterminator. Given the price of Top Notch Pest Control, I had high expectations. Robert, the technician, came out to my place twice, once for the initial treatment and again for a follow-up. After the follow-up, the activity had gone down so much, more than I expected. Additionally, Robert provided great tips for prevention, was pleasant to talk with, and made a stressful situation much easier to go through. While I don't have other pest control services to compare with Top Notch, they do seem to do quality work, if all of their technicians are like Robert. Thank you!

We reached out to Alleycat Exterminating when we began to have some more visitors in our apartment…read moreof the mouse and roach variety after our cat died. Don talked my husband through some steps we could take to try and plug any holes and fix the issue on our own if we wanted to but after finding a few more bugs we decided to make an appointment to have professionals help. Lauren stopped by, did a thorough check of our whole apartment, and ended up calling in someone else to bring additional materials to help ensure our problems were solved. Both she and her husband (it's a family business!) did a great job explaining what they were doing, what they were using, and answer any questions we had. The traps they leave behind and poison they use are childproof and pet safe, and also placed in ways to limit chances of small kids or pets to even get to them. Their fee was incredibly reasonable, they're communicative, and I finally feel like I can sleep a little easier. They'll be coming back to check-in in a few weeks to make sure there are no new signs of anything and discuss any next steps as needed but we are feeling optimistic and taken care of by friendly, reasonable professionals. Very much recommend them!

Our landlord called a pest control company to come, which happened to be new day pest control. The owner came and as I explained to him the scenario he starts tsking me while saying "your husband made this worse and much more complicated for me". I ignored that comment. Later I ask what to expect next and he said "tell your husband to keep his day job". To that I corrected him and told him there's no need to be rude. Never in my life would I think an owner of a company would talk down to me and about my husband that way. I'd like for him to come back and try to say that to my husband directly. Probably wouldn't happen. Would not recommend if you're a woman and home alone as he most likely will feel too comfortable verbally degrading you.
