This is a new and clean CVS which needs some improvement and better prices…read more First of all, the CVS website offers a lower price and they don't offer in store pick up, so once you confirm an item is in stock and head to the store the price is more expensive. A $3.99 travel size sunscreen on the website was $5.19 at the store. And they wonder why people are buying stuff online.... Also, they need to label their aisles better. I was looking for the travel size section and had to walk around whole place to find it since there were no employees around for me to ask. There's plenty of parking and both the store and parking lot are well lit.

They have a large selection of makeup and when they first opened the manager said that they have salon chairs because they would be doing makeup demos and such. I've never seen that happen. So, the beauty area is well stocked but there's never any demos going on. The rest of the store is ok, a little less of the every day stuff than other CVS stores, but at least it's clean and neat. They don't have enough people working here. They usually have one person taking care of the front end, and that person is also responsible for stock. Most people wind up using one of the two self-checkouts. Stock is iffy. They sell out of the sale items right away (if they ever had them at all) and there's very little in the refrigerated cases. Not sure why they don't get enough stock. This is in the plaza on Goldsborough near Lidl. Since there's no traffic light on Goldsborough and Chosin Few way, you have to be extra careful driving to this place.

Target is nowhere near this lost. The utter lack of store standards, management oversight, and basic customer service here is shocking. Here is a breakdown of what customers face regularly: Disgusting & Neglected Produce Bins: Produce displays are routinely ignored. You will find split, heavily bruised, and actively moldy/decaying tomatoes and overripe fruit sitting directly on display alongside items meant for sale. Pets in Food Aisles: Unrestricted pets are constantly walked through the grocery aisles, right next to open food and fresh produce. Food safety regulations regarding non-service animals around food are completely ignored. Filthy, Unsafe Aisles & Broken/Spilled Items: Customers are constantly spilling items with no timely cleanup. Just the other day, it looked like a full-on egg fight occurred--eggs were smashed all over the floor with empty boxes left scattered everywhere. Unstocked Shelves & Inaccessible Food: Shelves are constantly cluttered with empty boxes. Food is pushed so far back that shorter customers can't even reach it because associates refuse to face the items forward. Meanwhile, the store is frequently out of basic shopping bags. Understaffed Locked Sections: High-demand areas like the baby food aisle are locked up, yet there is never enough coverage or an associate around to unlock items when you need them. Unprofessional Staff & Rude Behavior: Floor associates are unhelpful, routinely on their cell phones at the registers right in front of customers, or playing personal music like they're hanging out at home. The language on the floor is completely inappropriate--I personally witnessed an associate bringing out water who was cursing loudly and rudely in public. Absentee Management & Security Lapses: While customers struggle and safety hazards pile up, groups of managers routinely gather in circles, talk on their phones, or wander around doing nothing--never engaging or acknowledging customers. Secret asset security isn't doing their jobs properly either, and the overall environment has degraded so much that an Asset Protection employee was even assaulted recently. Management and corporate need to step in immediately. This store is in dire need of a complete overhaul in leadership, sanitation enforcement, and basic customer service standards.

The positive…read more Walmart is still my favorite place to grocery shop in the Bayonne area. It offers all the essential grocery items, decent produce and, most importantly, the best prices. They also offer electronics, car accessories and many other things. My tip is for you to check their website for in-store items and once you get there you know what aisle to go to. (Costco should learn this from Walmart!) Furthermore, there's always plenty of free parking. What could be improved? Well, first of all 4 out of 5 shopping carts have some type of problem. Either their wheels are stuck or another similar issue. (Now Walmart should learn from Costco's smooth carts!) Also, they no longer offer self checkouts, so those old self check out machines became 15 items or less cashiers. But with 4 machines being reserved (aka"wasted" ) for Walmart plus members (you rarely see one) the lines are each time longer.

Amazing pharmacy with great staff and excellent customer service…read more I've came here a few times to pick up prescribed medicines and the staff were so incredibly friendly, informative and knowledgeable. For instance, I had a bad virus infection earlier this month, and the pharmacist explained thoroughly about my medicines as well as which nose sprays I should use extensively and which I shouldn't. Yesterday, I stopped by to ask for muscle relaxers because I hurt my back. I couldn't bend down forward and I was in excruciating pain when I try to sit. But what I got was more than that. The pharmacist behind the counter gave me advice on what to do - Go home, take my Advil with food to avoid stomachache issues, apply heating to the muscles where it hurt and relax. I felt like he genuinely care. Even though I didn't walk out of the pharmacy with what I intended to get, I appreciated the good directions on what to do. I followed exactly what the pharmacist (sorry I didn't get your name if you're reading this) told me to do and I felt 10x better this morning. Thank you!!

I went in to fill a prescription for a medication that I've taken on and off for over 20 years, but…read morehave had trouble filling recently due to a shortage. My regular pharmacy was out of all dosages of that particular medication, and told me I'd have to check around to see where I could fill it. Another pharmacy had a lesser dosage and a higher dosage than I was prescribed. Kept provider updated, so that dosage could be adjusted or another pharmacy could be located. I'd stopped in St. George Pharmacy a week or two ago, and was told that they carried that medication, but not the dosage I'd been prescribed (but they won't specify the dosage they carried). I didn't happen to have the pill bottles on me at the time. I came in today with two pill bottles of varying dosages to see if they had either dosage. The pharmacist took both behind the counter to then tell me that they didn't carry that medication at all (so why take my pill bottles behind the counter?) to then ask me again where I normally fill it (which I explained, but was on the label), why I didn't go there (I explained that again), then told me to look him in the eye and said that I needed to go back to the original pharmacy ask for a supervisor and tell them to find another location to fill the prescription! (I'd already inquired.) The pharmacist was so incredibly rude! I made to feel like a criminal or a drug fiend for trying to fill a legitimate prescription! I'd also popped in months ago and looked around (they have some hard-to-find products) and noticed that there was a label on the shelf for 99% isopropyl alcohol and an empty space, but no product. I asked, was told that they would order some, was told the delivery date. Came back multiple times before I was told it was on back order and that I should just order from Amazon. Very strange and rude. I would've expected better from a neighborhood shop. I will not be returning.
