Got my food delivered. The tacos were cold and the raspado melted. I paid $5 for some tamarindo water which wasn't even sweet, (was supposed to be a raspado) and they didn't even give me a straw. I ordered a taco gobernador and a taco de birria- they put it in the same container and when I got them the tortillas were back in their original dough stage. Yuk. When I order from the store in Santa Ana they always separate the different tacos so that they won't loose their crunchy. But the Placensia store thinks they can over charge for everything and they don't even put enough seasoning on their stuff. The tacos needed just a bit more salt. And the last time I ordered birria tacos con consume the broth had waaayyy to much grease. Try taking tips from the Santa Ana store from their cook. Y'all should get your head out ya ass and please don't over charge just because you're in Placensia. read more

Went about a month ago on a saturday and the cashier that took my order wearing a visor was rude with attitude. The food was nasty I got chilaquiles and it was a mess. I went yesterday and there was a tall lady , she was helpful, friendly ,and nice with manners but the fish taco plate was nasty and looks like they just toss it on the plate... not a good presentation. read more

This place is really good. I have tried their tortas and the price is just right! Parking can be a problem at times because they share it with a lot of businesses. Long overdue review for this gem of a joint. Tortas are incredible! Agua frescas are incredible! These people really know how to cook! Food was ok but honestly will not be returning because this place has the worst customer service. It has like 10 employees and none of them have a smile on their face. When we received the order, it was a MESS and the consome had spilled all over everything because it was in a beverage cup. We got the birria tacos with consome and they completely lacked flavor. The consome was greasy and flavorless and the tacos had a lot of fat in them with some unidentifiable parts of an animal in them (think chewy tube type parts). It was way overpriced for no flavor. I am a fan of Tortas & Bionicos. Everything is good here but I wonder what "nice" means.

Order food from this place a lot, mainly cause the husband like the carne Asada plate. I have tried the tacos, burger, quesadilla and they are all good. My favorite was the Chile verde but lately the cooks have been off their game and the meat is tuff and they put very little sauce, kind of defeats the purpose of being called a chile verde if it has little to no Chile. All in all, a place worth trying. Only thing that needs major work is the customer service, those girls are not friendly and make it obvious they don't like their jobs. read more

Picked up 2 steak plates. Wasn't too happy about the steak not being cut up in slices. Steak was a little unflavored and dry for me. Salted and oiled on pan for a minute and boom! Didn't like how they didn't ask (why not a 5rating) flour or corn tortillas. Gave me corn. Not my thing. This has to be the best torta spot in the OC. Their tortas is only the beginning when it comes to great Mexican food. The tacos de birria, ceviche de camarón and tacos de pastor are also very good. I recommend the mixed fajitas! They came out sizzling with a quesadilla on top !!!! Plus rice,beans, salad and tortillas on the side. My bf ordered them and I was so jealous, even though my torta was bomb also. The salsas are on point and I really liked the amount of spice (very spicy) on the green avocado one. I've been to this place countless times. I moved to Fullerton in 2015 for College and I have yet to find a better place for tortas in OC. I waited this long to write a review becauase I wanted to make sure the great service and food were consistent over time. I was not disappointed. La torta cubana is the best item in the menu (in my opinion). However, all other tortas meet the high standards set forth by my taste buds. I really hope the the owner sees this review because I would like to meet them in person and shake their hand for blessing me with amazing food for the past five years. read more

The folks working the counter and phones are really good and my order is always ready in the timeframe that they give me when I call. Super big tacos for the price and the meats are delicious.
