I get that business are steering away from paper receipts but man the system didn't print my receipt and what an ordeal it was to get my paper copy. I waited for over 15 mins after completing the return just to get a receipt. They seriously need to update whatever systems they use because why can't the employees just hit reprint is beyond me?! The manager had to go to the back and pull it up in order to give me the copy and I like I said I waited and waited spent my entire lunch break to do a return that shouldn't have taken longer than 5 mins max. Also 10 cents for a bag is ridiculous when I'm buying clothes - do better H&M!!!

I wasn't doing anything crazy, just getting up and down from my office job chair. I just bought these at full price a couple days prior. I went in to explain the situation and to see if there was anything they could do for me. I understand if there is protocol, but after my years of working in retail, usually there's at least something that can be done. I thought that maybe there was a possibility of getting some sort of store credit or replacement but no such luck. Even if I had the proof of purchase, the item has to be in good condition per the protocol. That's where things can get tricky because what if it's a faulty item or crappy quality? I wasn't doing anything to cause these pants to break but the material just gave out. I understand that they can't just take everything that comes back as a return, but something about this interaction felt like a very bad customer service experience. I bought a nice pair of pants, it ripped a couple days later, and now I have nothing to show for it. Even if I had proof of purchase, I would be out of luck according to them...I'll be lucky if I can get a seamstress to fix it with the material...
