I placed an order over 14 days ago that still shows processing. When I contacted customer support about it all they did was send me a link to their processing and shipping policy. Which, in the policy she sent me it stated that processing was 1-2 business days and shipping was up to 10 business days. However, my order is still in processing after 14 days and nobody is willing to look into the issue further. Also, if you want to talk to an agent on the live chat option, you better be prepared to sit and wait and don't leave that page or your computer. Each time I leave the page for more than a coupe of minutes it ends the chat and I have to start all over again, even though there are 20-50 people ahead of me in queue. It has happened to me 2 time in the past week. Today when I entered the chat waiting room there were 83 people ahead of me and when it got down to 53 people ahead of me I left the page to do some work while I was waiting, I came back in 3-5 minutes and it had ended. When I opened up another chat I was then placed at #99 in queue and am currently toggling back and forth every 60 seconds so I don't lose my spot. I had a similar issue 2 days ago when I tried reaching out. I get it that people are busy and everyone is doing the best they can given the current pandemic, but at least fix your system so that we can at least get assistance. And some agents that are actually willing to look into issues wouldn't hurt either. User's recommendation: Be cautious. read more

I'm addicted to Torrid and have been shopping here for years. The manager of this location recognizes me when I come in. I don't know if that's good or bad. Haha. Here's the run down: Torrid used to be the fat chicks answer to Hot Topic. Over the years they have shifted from goth to a more sophisticated style. I wouldn't say slutty, but they celebrate the curves of there clientele. The prices can be a bit high, but if you watch for sales and shop the clearance racks you can get some great deals. The sizing is 0-4. If it is your first time shopping there talk to an associate and they will help you through sizing. The sizing in their clothes is consistent. The quality is excellent. They carry items from accessories such as rings, scarves, etc. all the way to formal gowns when it is the season. Plus size Halloween costumes, lingerie, jeans, coats, etc. I've been personally pleased with everything I've purchased. They even have shoes and boots. (Major plus that with the current style of taller boots their boots have wider calf measurements.) The staff at both locations are always super friendly and amazing. I can't tell you how many times I've come out of a dressing room asking for help or opinions, and received honest opinions. Not just a sales person trying to sell me more stuff. The down side to Torrid: (This is Torrid in general and not related to either location) There are only two locations in the St. Louis area that I know of. Each carried a very different selection of clothing and the shipments each receives are limited in what they receive. They may only receive 1 of each size in a particular item. (Plus is that if you see an item on Torrid.com and call with a description, the stores will pull the item in your size and hold it for you.) There are a large number of "Internet Only" items on the website. The one plus is if you purchase something online and decide to return it, you can return it to the stores, unless it is clearance. All clearance sales are final. It is well posted in the stores and online. Because the stores are not that large (this one being larger than the other in West County Mall) there is a limited selection on shoes. It seems what they have is what they have, in other words there is not a stash in the back. And shoes can take up a lot of room so the shoe area is sometimes a mess. The lingerie, for whatever reason, doesn't fit me the way I would like it to. I don't know if it is the cut or what. The panties are fine. The bras...no way. And the items they call "bustier" and "corsets" are neither. They lack support, have plastic boning, etc. In my opinion...a waste of money. I'm only giving Torrid four stars because of the limited selection of sizes. Again, not the fault of this location, but I'm because they have limited space. Oh, and price because, well...I want everything to be less expensive. If you are a plus size lady looking for anything from jeans and tshirts, to work attire, or a party dress, give Torrid a shot. read more

I've shopped at the Torrid in the Galleria multiple times in the past and always received good service, but tonight was an extra pleasant experience. I had ordered multiple things online and came to the store to pick them up. After trying them on, there were a few items that didn't quite work. LEENA helped me find a few things in the store to exchange for my online items that didn't work AND worked it out to still apply my discounts I had used with my online order! They have the best customer service. I'm able to take care of whatever I need, and they go out of their way to be helpful. I love their clothing, and love that I can find something for my 12 and 19 year old daughters in the same place. The diversity in sizes is a big plus as well. read more

Torrid is one of my must stops for latest fashions. I love their selection and their customer service is on point! The gals that work in the Chesterfield Valley location are super sweet and helpful every time I'm in there! Now, I want to tell you about my phone order I made this morning when I called in on their main phone number found on their website. OH MY GOSH!! This was the best customer service experience I've ever had!! I wanted to order some things online yesterday (Sunday). It was the is day of a big sale they were having. And I also needed these items expedited to 2-day shipping. For some reason the site wouldn't let me select expedite shipping; so I called into customer service this morning. (Monday) The sale was over; but Michael still took off the discount AND gave me free 2 day shipping. He was so pleasant to talk to and had me laughing a few times. What a wonderful way to start off my week! Now I'm going to have these pieces before I go on vacation this weekend. And he helped me save money!! I highly recommend becoming a customer of torrid. I like torrid because they cater to the plus community. If you have never been here before know that the store isn't very large just like it's "sister" store Hot Topic. Also, you have to learn about what there sizing means. A big girl might see a size 2 on a blouse then turn around and walk out thinking they are in the wrong place ( a size 2 means about a size 20, my size, at torrid). I always seem to find some cute and interesting items, though I rarely buy from there. I think the store is catered to fat women with REAL jobs LOL. I don't make enough money (see: minimum wage worker) to shop there I swear. I just can't convince myself to buy a shear/thin blouse with red lips on it for $45. I did see a (p)leather dress that was hot hot hot! It was about $70 but not available in my size. Damn you size 20 girls who got there before me. I found it on the online torrid store and I am gonna start saving money out of my little pay check each week to get this dress (and hopefully there is a great sale going on around that time). At the end of the day I do recommend torrid, just save up enough dough before you decide to shop here. read more

Dee Hudson at Torrid St. Louis Galleria is wonderful! She not only helped my daughter find nice outfits for graduation but she made her feel beautiful in them. She stayed late and worked for hours with us to put together cute outfits including dresses, jackets and undergarments. She was truly amazing and wonderful!!!! read more
