He listened to the ideas we had for the design of the yard and gave some suggestions without being pushy. He met us at the store that sold the material and helped us choose the stone and color for the look we were trying to achieve. The work was done in a short amount of time without it being rushed through and in spite of the fact that we were newbie's at this and had ideas that didn't always work. We were so pleased with the end result that we immediately had the driveway and front walkway done as well as the area around the driveway pedestrian gate. Roger's reasonable price allowed us to complete that job as well and, like the backyard, was sorely needed. That job was also done in less than a week. Now, both areas look amazing and I can now relax since the sight of them no longer makes me crazy. Overall, Genesis Stoneworks was the right choice for us and we are very happy with the results. Our project manager was also great and very involved and helpful at every stage of the project. We went with System Pavers mainly because of their warranty and because we'd seen other work they'd done. Safe to say it did not disappoint. The one thing I'd suggest they improve is the design process. When we met with the design consultant upfront, he put together a rough drawing. We were told it was mostly just to ballpark costs and that the real design would come together closer to install. The issue is we never actually received that drawing, so we ended up having to finalize everything with the construction manager kind of last minute. It really wasn't a big deal, especially since we asked them to hold off on starting for several months while we finished up some other backyard projects. The business is tucked away in a commercial section of Goleta, somewhat near the airport. It's not the easiest place to find, but just plug that address into your phone and you'll be there in no time. My most recent purchase was to fill in my home's front parkway and a small back terrace with decomposed granite. When we went to look, we found the gentleman who'd assisted us to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't realize how much maintenance DG requires. The salesman ended up showing us California Gold gravel which looks a lot like the product we'd planned to purchase, but wouldn't have to worry about heavy maintenance or seeing it wash away with a rainstorm. Ended up purchasing it - not only does it look great, but there is virtually no maintenance needed. A real win-win! Check this place out for your hardscape needs!

He called me, and waited on me for an hour. Cole Has the most patience from anybody I have ever met. Cole brought out numerous amount of samples. And laid them all out for me so I can see what it would look like when it was done. He walked me through my Pavers and my block wall every day answering every stupid question I had. And never complained. I know I can be a pain in the butt because if I don't know what's going on or how it's being built I ask 1 million questions. The job came out beautiful. I didn't hear back from him so I sent him a text message on Monday, 2/22/21 and he said he'd have everything ready the same week. I did not hear back from Ismael so I sent another text on Monday, 3/01/21 and he said he would have the design and estimate by Wednesday, 3/03/21. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM. Not even the courtesy of a call or text. Very poor customer service.
