However... upon reflection, a more accurate memory features a very sweaty Nico hobbling on blistered feet, sans Clooney, in desperate need of shade and refreshment. Now that I recall, Forma e Gusto came into my life at a perfect moment in time. Tucked in between several buildings, under a lush canopy of leaves, Forma e Gusto offers respite on a hot summer day. The restaurant offers intimate indoor seating, as well as several tables lining the covered alley. Be sure to check out the charming outdoor bar as well. Their menu offers most of the usual dishes found on Lake Como, with a few surprises thrown in. I ordered the Ravioli di Pesce di Lago, buttery raviolis filled with trout and goat cheese. I made the right choice! I've since tried to replicate this deliciousness at home and have failed spectacularly! The restaurant's raviolis were the result of locally sourced ingredients skillfully prepared by someone with years of experience. I have vivid sense memory of those remarkable raviolis; I hope to one day taste them again. I was only in Bellagio for a single afternoon, and didn't have the opportunity to dine elsewhere. It's possible there are restaurants more deserving of your attention, however Forma e Gusto came to my rescue with their delicious food and outstanding customer service.
