OK, it does not talk much to excite us but this was awesome. Enjoying our meal while watching people walk by and walk by. A lot of people walk by and look et you. So if you are self conscious ask to sit inside. They have a basic menu of pasta and at first we thought, "this will not be enough food." It was plenty and so flavorful. In our four weeks of travel in Italy and Greece, this was my most memorable and tasty meal. No hesitation. Just a cute little restaurant with a great eating experience.

Just barely beating the rush, we were given a lovely table inside and could enjoy the artsy decor--loved the flat wine bottle art, just wish it wasn't so expensive. 60 euros with the current exchange rate is a bit much especially that I was wary of being able to get it home safely! My mom went with the minestrone and she raved about it the rest of the trip! I dipped some of my bread in it and agree that it was quite good and that's not normally a soup I care for. The rest of us somehow all got lasagna and most of us enjoyed it, though one of the group found it too "creamy." I would agree that I do like a bit more mozzarella on my lasagna, but that could also be an American thing and not "authentic." Really the only negative here was having to go all the way downstairs to pay my bill. The restaurant isn't very big yet it was not the easiest journey and the wait down there was a bit long. This was sold as a secondi. 40 euro for two bites of essentially a meatball, and it was smaller than even an appetizer should be. Ridiculous. This smelled of a chef in love with his "creativity and training" and not thinking about the customer. Change the chef. I would gladly pay these prices for better portions and more importantly better execution

Least favourite was dahi puri. Everything else tasted... (is sophisticated a word that can be used to describe flavour? Then that would be it) Overall we loved it! FORTUNATELY, they have lovely massive umbrellas outside to sit under, and they helped immensely! They have a wonderful menu, both in Italian and English. They have very accommodating staff that are quick to tell / share of their favorite menu items (I love it when they do this!). I actually chose my meal based on their recommendation. Forgive me for not remembering what I ordered. I did start with a salad... heads-up folks, if you start with a "starter salad"... it is enough for an entire meal! They recommended wine. The lobster bisque is good, as previously reviewed. We order a delicious salad off the menu, which was also excellent with watercress, lettuce, carrots, cabbage, and tomatoes. The lobster ravioli was fine, not great. Same for the linguine with sea urchin. The pan seared branzino was fresh and good, nothing spectacular. Prices were very fair. The food is probably 3.5 star but the service was 5 so I'm giving them a 4 for the effort!
