Stilo was the first restaurant we visited in Lake Como. It's located right across on the water which made for stunning dinner views. We were lucky to be seated outside after about a 10 minute wait on a busy Friday evening. Our server Lucco was very sweet and though very busy did his best to be attentive. We started with sparkling water, proseccos, margherita pizza and a salad. Those were delivered promptly. Next I ordered the linguine frutti di mare which was sooo delicious and the seafood was so fresh (prawns, mussels, scallops). However, there was an unsavory taste left in our mouths after my friend's food had hair in it and she asked to return it to the kitchen. A lady server came over and aggressively insisted that the hair belonged to my friend because it had to be "extensions". This was an unpleasant experience to say the least My friend declined another dish from the kitchen and we shared my pasta which we both enjoyed but I'm sad she wasn't able to enjoy her meal. This restaurant is right next to lake Como so you can oversea the lake while you dine which makes the atmosphere 100times better. I had some tea and grilled seafood, it was mostly crabs and shrimp, it would have been nice to have more variety. read more

Another lucky random find after getting off the train. Outdoor seating is well set, tent shading, bordering planters. The weather was a bit chilly, so inside we go. Interior ~ cozy, warm, classic feel. Filled with business lunch meetings. Our server was exceptional ~ knowledgeable in their wines, pairings, and with ease recited our extensive order by memory. Poised & friendly. Added just enough conversation throughout our meal to keep us laughing and drinking. Food ~ absolutely delicious. Everything. We came in a group of 7 during not so peak lunch hours and were greeted with a great server. He was very patient which was important with our group of confused kids, teens, adults and elderly. We had some great orders like my personal favorite, the bruschetta, fried calamari and the seafood pasta. They were some that were just so-so and so for that, this place gets 4 stars!! read more

Went here with my family and the view is awesome, even with the construction on the lake. Our server Sam was so kind and gave us great recommendations (Black Sea bass). They were patient with our Instagram pictures too. There was also a small indoor section with great views. read more

After walking so much in Como along the lake, we were ready for some good food and looked for a restaurant. This time we decided to just look for a busy restaurant that seemed okay and filled with Italians. We stumbled upon Stilo Ristorante Pizzeria. We got pizza (of course), spaghetti con vongole, and some crème brûlée for dessert. The pizza was delicious. This place wasn't bad at all and was a normal Italian restaurant. read more

We ran across this place because we were arriving from Bellagio. We were in the mood for seafood pasta which we found here and it was absolutely delicious! We had an appetizer of cheeses and meats with bread which were amazing. The service was on amazing they explained the dishes, recommended the wine, and made sure we were taken cared of. We ordered the tiramisu to finish everything off and then they gave us complimentary limoncello. Great place and atmosphere! read more

Good seafood selection and quality! We lucked out that it was a rare rainy day and Como was not inundated by tourists so we essentially had the restaurant to ourselves! The chef's seafood appetizer plate was excellent at only 16 euro along with the seafood pasta. The potato and rosemary crusted Branzino was dry and lacked distinguishing flavor. Teramisu dessert was okay to conclude the meal. Excellent service staff, very friendly. Awesome! Rode our bikes from our hotel and couldn't find the place because of construction. The hostess somehow found us and told us where to put our bikes. We were in Como for two weeks on a business trip. We had opportunity to visit many restaurants in the area but frequented this establishment three times. Each visit we were greeted by friendly staff and quickly offered a table. The menu has a variety of options. The waitstaff, on all occasions, were attentive and kind. Menu items we tried on each occasion were excellent. The Tataki Tuna may be the best dish, however we enjoyed the Raviolis, Pizzas and the Pork Tenderloins. Prices for two including an appetizer, still water, a bottle of wine, dinner selections, dessert, and cappuccinos averaged around 85€. read more

The best pizza I've ever had. Not too oily, not too much sauce, great flavor and the best crust/dough you could ask for. The ingredients are fresh and the pie melts in your mouth. The chef went to school to learn how to bake authentic Italian pizza without any gimmicks or commercialized methods and it really shows. I'm sure the other food is good too but honestly can't bear to try anything else. Try the blonde beer to pair with it. read more

Strongly disliked this restaurant. 50€ for mediocre food (at best) for two people. Octopus salad as a "starter" (they brought it out with our full meal) was pretty good. Sadly, my friend had pasta carbonara, a dish she loves at home in the US and was excited to try in Italy and was very disappointed. I had a salmon ravioli dish that could not have been more bland. The portion was absurdly small, maybe 7 ravioli's in total. The service was extremely slow (yes, Europe is slow, but this was ridiculous, and it was not very crowded at the time). Food was well priced and tasted good if you are looking for basic Italian; pizza, gnocchi, lasagna... atmosphere is cool because you can see the water and mountains, also Gelato right next door. The pizza is great - I mean, we're in Italy! That being said, I can't say it was the best we had. Part of that may be my own fault for trying to explore new pizzas while visiting (meat pizzas, buffalo mozz pizza). I should have stuck with my (beloved) cheese pizza and I may have enjoyed it more. My husband and I stumbled across this place 11 years ago and have been dreaming about this pizza ever since. We ordered a veggie pizza the first time we were there-- the vegetables were SO FRESH. It tasted like someone just walked into their garden and picked a bunch of veggies and threw them on a pizza. The service was great, the staff was very friendly and they put our pizza to the front of the line so we didn't have to wait. The pizza itself was delicious!
