I bought a car from them at the end of March and by the middle of June I no longer have a working car. The transmission was leaking and because I missed one appointment they told me the "warranty," would cover any issues I was having. Well, they wont cover the issue because its a preexisting issue and found out I also need a new transaxle because it looked like it had been in an accident at some point. I decided to run a car fax, low and behold there it was, an accident that wasn't disclosed to me when purchasing the car. Now I have a car that needs a rebuilt transmission which will cost about $6k, for a car I paid $6999 for. I am disgusted. Update, Toro called to ask about the review ..why didn't I call them....hmmm I took the car in for an oil change within days of purchase (because there was only 14% oil in the car) $4000 later I got my car with major mechanical issues fixed and all new tires. Through the reputable mechanic I learned that Toro mechanics HAD to clear a code to get this car through emissions...there is no way it should have passed with a CRACKED TURBO. Again not a new car so I understand some repairs but more than half of what I paid AND the car really wasn't road worthy. All Toro was interested in was getting the review changed. A honest good faith business would have AT MINIMUM reimbursed me for the cost of the turbo unit ($1600) but not ONE dime in compensation was offered...I really don't know how you sleep doing this to people. read more

My worst car buying experience so far. Got a car from them. Some lights were not working. Glove box was warped. They said they would fix it. I drove 3 hours back days later and they had only fixed the glove box. I needed the car since I had no car and had already paid them. A while later I got smoke coming out of the sunroof, electrical issue. Took it to a shop that said they would charge $3000 to fix it. A few weeks later the car starts misfiring, stalling and shaking. Something I have a feeling Toro Auto knew about before they sold it. Check engine light comes on. It has been to 2 shops in 2 months and has been there since ! I sitll owe money on a car I cannot even drive and I am sure if I go ask Toro Auto about it, they will refer to the contract and say, You bought the car 'as-is", so go to hell ! They were unprofessional the whole transaction. Didn`t return calls on time and had poor communication. My back-up lights are still not working since I bought the car from them ! Came to look at a car today (2020 Hyundai Elantra). In the listing there was no damage to the car, and upon calling it was confirmed that the car was in good condition. Drove down to see the car and upon first glance the door wouldn't even shut and there were multiple scratches, scuffs, etc. looking at the trunk, it had obviously been rear ended. The CARFAX did mention one accident but there was no damage from that accident. We immediately decided that the car was going to be a no without even looking at the inside and were greeted by the salesman automatically getting defensive saying that we had just come there to argue and that we need to look at the interior before making a decision. Car shopping these days is the same story anywhere you go: money hungry dealerships scamming in anyway possible to make a quick buck, and Toro Auto is no different. Take all their 1 star reviews as a warning not to waste your time here with rude, combative, salesmen who couldn't care less about getting you into a quality vehicle. read more

After searching for a car in the last 6 months, I stopped at Toro Auto and looked at a car I found online. This was hands down the best place to get a new car. The price on the car I bought was excellent, and the miles were lower than at any other dealership. There was no pressure at all unlike other places that try to hassle you as fast as they can to make a quick buck. The finance manger that sits at the front desk is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I had originally emailed inquiring about the vehicle, and within minutes he answered all of my question through email very quickly. He even sent me a break down of all the fees and carfax repot. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS!! Since we purchased our new Silverado it has been nothing but trouble and our new truck has been out of commission for 3 of the 4 weeks we have owned it. Starting with having to replace the fuel pump by their very incapable mechanics, then electrical work, now out of commission again because the front axle is grinding and we need a wheel hub replacement. We've been stranded twice in freezing cold temps waiting for Triple A. Janal, the smooth talking owner will not return our calls and has been nothing but a liar and a shady business man. If I could give this place a 0 star I would! We spoke with the sales man a dozen times about a Toyota 4Runner for sale over the course of a week and mentioned many times how far we would have to travel to get there. Knowing we would be driving 2 hours to test drive and possibly buy this vehicle the sales man never once told my husband or myself that the vehicle was in a horrendous accident. It drove like crap and it seemed the roof was caved in at one point due to all the dents on the top of the vehicle. (Assuming the truck was in a roll over accident)Not something you would even think to look at when buying a new car. Needless to say we will not buy a vehicle from these people and we've learned a lot of lessons along the way. Buyer beware!!!! If these people weren't even willing to tell us the car fax , what else are they willing to hide? I purchased a 2014 Lincoln MKZ. It had a check engine light on. They said they fixed it and it came on 230 miles later. They will not fix it. Ac wasn't cold they were going to fix it also. They had my car for 3 weeks and couldn't fix it. They made me sign additional paperwork to get my car "releasing" them from responsibilities for the repair even tho it was in our original contract. One employee yelled at me in the phone when I asked to pick up my car after 2 weeks.im currently in a lawsuit to get the repairs he agreed to completed. Never buy a car from this crooked dealer. do not buy here. they sold me a car with a bad transmission, bad o2 sensors, and a coup[le other problems that was supposed to be "covered under warranty" but their 90 day warranty is fake. trust me i have poaperwork written up from crowley nissan of bristol stating, by 2 mechanics inmcluding manager of all services, that toro auto knew the transmission was bad so they attem,pted to cover it up for a quick sale by flushiung the system and disconnecting the module so the tranny couldnt communitcate with the car. do not buy from here, theyre crooks and when i told them they basically laughed at me. horrible shop that shouildnt even be legal, let alone still in bussiness. i payed over 7 grand cash for this car then in less than 2 weeks my transmission is blown n i have 3 other codes for sensors and what not on a check ewngine light. their "warranty" didnt cover any of this. nissans exact words was that this warranty is "too shady and sketchy" and that no nissan dealership would work on it with this warranty. the only place that an altima transmission can be fixed at is a dealership bc it needs to be programmed. they said they can write paperwork up bc they felt bad for me, stating what thery have found that toro had done, and also their experience with this so called warranty company...i have the paperwork here and will probably be taking them to court. please please please save urself the time hassle energy and money. do not buy a car fom these crooks bc they will laugh at you if you need something from, them after the sale. they put band aids on huge problems on their vehicles just to sell them quick, then they fall apart within a month. read more
