Value... this place is a place for the people. I love local places like this, you can tell its run by a good owner who is churning out good food at great prices. The add on toppings for your burger, sandwich, fries etc. were dirt cheap. Where else can you add a nice portion of bacon to your burger for just $1? My girlfriend ordered a $3 side of onion strings and low and behold those bad boys came over flowing out of a cup dang near the size of a Big Gulp. We had to add a little salt and pepper to them, but besides that they came out piping hot and delicious. The philly cheese steak was good too but the burger was my favorite. Just a little update decided to try something new. Chicken Pita with extra feta. Just like the burgers they did not disappoint! The sandwich was huge and full of chicken. Of course I had the homemade cute fries with the homemade range, it was delicious. Service was fast. Made it back to work with time to still eat. This is what makes Tornado Burger not just good, but great! I've been here many times and the spicy burgers are fantastic, in another league above Whataburger. I just got a philly cheesesteak sandwich (Texas style, with jalapenos and mushrooms) in the drive through, and it was just fantastic. This isn't fine dining, friends. This is just plain old good eatin'. They might cost a couple dollars more than McD's but what you get is way better and more of it. You might have to wait a few minutes for your food to arrive. Stopped by while in the area. Lined was pretty long for the drive through but moved quickly. Good menu with a decent variety of burgers, chicken and phillies. The loaded fries were a hit with the kids and I loved the onion strings. Triple burger was cooked perfect. I wouldn't say the spicy burger or chicken is all that spicy but still good. Burger was flavorful without being too salty and all toppings were fresh! Fries are crispy and well seasoned. Both were a generous serving. One thing I also liked is that because the quality is so good I didn't feel sluggish right after eating it. Probably one of the best burgers I've had and I think it is able to compete against some other burger places such as burger joint or shake shack. Prices are pretty cheap. I've heard great things about Tornado Burger so I finally decided to stop by. Came on a Friday night and went through the drive-thru. It was fairly crowded but I wasn't waiting too long for my food. Everything here is made fresh to order so I knew it wouldn't be cold, plus I didn't mind the wait. I ordered the Chicken Philly with double meat and double cheese. I tried to order it half spicy, half regular but I was told it had to be one or the other so I went with spicy. I also ordered a daiquiri half strawberry, half piña colada. The Chicken Philly was absolutely amazing. I'm glad I ordered the spicy but really wish I was able to do half and half because after getting double meat, the spice was a lot to handle. I'm not sure how much meat comes on a single serving but the double meat was a lot of food. The sandwich was huge! The chicken was tender and the bread was soft. The daiquiri was good also, not too liquid-y, not too strong, but could've probably been a bit stronger. I'll be back to try some of the other items on the menu! read more

These burger are a great classic for juicy, greasy, "I want to indulge" type of burger. I love to pair it after a tough workout or on days I need some extra calories. Theres almost no better veggie burger in my opinion. If you are tired of the same ole "beyond burger" at sky high prices, this place makes one from scratch, piles it with sautéed mushrooms and onions, lettuce and mayo and/ or ketchup. Is it a softer patty, yes, but you can taste the ingredients and for $3.70 it will fill you up. They do one size fries for $2 and its a ton of well seasoned goodness. For just over $6 I got a very hearty meal and I bet no one can beat that in these expensive pick up times. Plus you are supporting local business and I always prefer that. Ive heard of tornado taco (also owned by the same person) and have always wanted to try this place. Its a farely old looking building. You go up to the counter to order. They have everything from chicken phillys , gyros, burger and original philly cheesesteak sanwiches. You can order any sandwich spicy or regular. I ordered the chicken club sandwich (spicy). My cousins ordered the #2s spicy and oroginal combos. You can add bacon or cheese. #2 combo is about $8! The fries were pretty tasty. They were the thick soft kind. Not my favorite but were good. 4 star on price and taste of the sanwiches. Not the best but is pretty good for the price. Better than fast food thats for sure! read more

The single burger had a delicious home grilled taste. Cons: the Philly cheesesteak was bland - couldn't even taste the onions. The meat to vegetables ratio was off on the burgers. Oh gosh! Who would have known some home in the wall place could be this good. The building can use a update but don't let it discourage you from eating here. When we arrived the line was almost out the door. Good sign the food is good. My husband ordered their double spicy cheeseburger with homemade fries and I ordered the chicken basket 4 strips with fries as well. The chicken strips were lightly battered and very tasty. It was real chicken! Not some frozen chicken strips. The fries were delicious and everything tasted freshly made. Way too much food for me, next time I will order a child's basket! Something's different! This Philly cheesesteak is not what it used to be! Tastes like they changed the steak that they use...definitely a cheaper cut. It's really hard to bite the sandwich without pulling out all the meat because it's so fatty and tough. This is not the same sandwich that I had a few months ago. I understand that prices have gone up on food but some things you can't sacrifice and quality is one. This was my go to spot for a Philly but not anymore. Unfortunately I ordered in the drive through so my wait was long and it's TEXAS so it was 97+ degrees. Woah! The spicy double cheese burger was sooooo good. This place definitely just entered my top 10 best burgers I ever ate. We ordered 2 spicy double meat cheeseburgers and 1 spicy Philly cheesesteak. The spicy cheeseburger was amazing. I don't know what they mixed in with the beef, but the spicy kick definitely enhanced the burger. The meat was slightly dry but the overall quality of burger was great. The buns were nicely toasted and buttered, and the veggies were fresh and crispy. As for the Philly cheesesteak, It tasted like any other Philly cheesesteak. There just wasn't anything special about it. Don't get me wrong, it was still good. They did skimp out on the cheese in the Philly though. Overall, I highly recommend getting the spicy double meat cheeseburger. It only cost $5 for the burger alone and $8 for the burger with fries and drink. I do that at in and out burger and I like the fries better. Service is good, cashier was nice. It looks to be an old long John silvers or a Taco Bell at one time so it's old but fairly clean. Another Yelp! find. We were in the Stafford area and I wanted to try something good according to the Yelpers. Pics and reviews said this was a good choice, so I went with it. Lots of parking. Front door wasn't easily seen but it is in the front of the restaurant. You order at the counter. Mostly burger options as well as cheesesteak. We all got burgers. The boys got single patties and I got a double. You can choose a regular or spicy patty. It comes as just the burger or as a combo. One of the reasons I went was the fries looked like the kind I like in the pics. They did not disappoint. They advertise that they don't cook the burgers or drop the fries until you put your order in. It was still only about a 5 minute wait to get our food, so it's fast. They also advertise their buns are from a local bakery and you can tell the difference. It was a good bun. This is coming from someone who doesn't like hamburger buns! The only thing that went wrong was she thought I asked for grilled onions when what I really asked for was grilled jalapeños. Still a good burger and good fries. read more

Once you order through the drive thru, someone will bring your order to you once you park. I'm happy to say I've tasted everything from the daiquiris they had to the philly cheese-steak. The burgers are good too, but I don't know if its actually my favorite burger of all time good. However, it's good enough to come by again. To me, it seemed like the menu was simple and paired down, so while the options are low I think the food quality is generally tasty enough to make up for that. I don't recall any healthy options, but that doesn't mean much if you're here to eat. This isn't a salad buffet, so you get what you get.
