We went to Torii's restaurant last night for my Son's birthday and we had such a great time! The wait staff are super friendly and the chef was hilarious! The food was amazing! Such a great time! I will definitely be back!

Good food! The fried rice was tasteful and our chef was fun! We had a good time on a Friday night. Wish the karaoke and bar area was larger tho, not much area to sit with a group after having dinner... the staff was attentive and overall would visit again soon.

Fun, fun, fun and great food too! What an experience and our cook and waitress were hecka funny too! They are great and made the experience so much more memorable! The hibachi was sooooo much fun and really yummie and fresh! It was a lot of food too! The hibachi comes with soup, salad, fried or steamed rice, veggies, shrimp and your choice of meat(s). Again, our cook and waitress did such a wonderful job too. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone, especially with kiddos to come and enjoy the entertainment and delicious food.

This place is OK. I almost feel it was a little better when it was just Divy vs being perpetually under construction. The food is ok not the best but the chef is typically well mannered and entertaining. There are a lot better Tempanyaki places in Manteca and Fresno but my wife and I had our first date here. Here is the ugly. I don't think the quality of food and flavor is worth the extravagant price. The bill was over $200 after tip for 4 sodas and 4 dinner plates. If we are paying that kind of price we should have a fully put together experience. I get it we all need to be working even under construction however, it's been under construction for at least 2 years at this point. You should consider changing the name of the restaurant to CA Highway 99. Anyway this probably would have been a one or two star experience if the chef wasn't so good.

Our cook was funny and great at making conversation. Everything was delicious and got our food cooked quickly.

Took our grandson for his 21st bday. So fun, show was great, food delicious and a surprise sake bomb for the birthday boy! Servers and Chef were so nice.

The grill would not stay lit, so we had to move. Then the experience was better, but its way overpriced for what you get.

Modesto's original Japanese restaurant is still holding strong on great service and a fun hibachi dinner experience.

The food was good, cooked perfect to order, but the place is super dark and dingy. I wish they would renovate.

Osaka literally never misses…read more My friends and I ordered literally SO much food from Osaka for pickup and every single item was delicious. We got the Crab Puffs, 49er Roll, a few Ichi Ban Maki Rolls, a few Crunchy Munchy Rolls, a Lion King Roll, a Philadelphia Roll, Miso Soup, and some more but you get the point. The food was ready quite promptly for pickup despite the extremely large order and it being a packed Saturday afternoon. Everything was perfect. The food that was hot stayed hot, the chilled dishes stayed cold. Every single thing tasted great. I was especially impressed with the Crab Puffs. They were completely stuffed with the filling (which I definitely can't say the same about from other restaurants)! They provided a ton of chop sticks and soy sauce packets which is much appreciated. This is my favorite casual sushi place in the valley!

The restaurant was busy but the staff were still engaging with everyone. We sat down in a corner booth and were immediately welcomed with requests for drink orders. The place was well lit and decorated with a warm and welcoming feel! We ordered four rolls and chicken katsu. Each roll was better than the next! We couldn't decide which one was our favorite so we scarfed them all down as fast as we could to indulge in the amazing flavors! I would say I leaned most towards the Crunchy Munchy roll! This place really "rolled" its place into our hearts!

The sushi was delicious, with favorites like dragon rolls and plenty of sashimi options. The spice levels were good, and the unagi sauce was not overly sweet. The buffet offered some great options, including fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, broccoli beef, and even some decent cuts of steak. The pork buns were a surprise and were really tasty. Dessert is mostly Jell-O, pudding, and some mini spongy cakes. The mango pudding was a great refresher. Overall, it's a great lunch spot at a decent price!

I feel like I've upgraded from typical Chinese buffets with the weird gelatin cakes from that one specific bakery that distributes said cakes to all these low-level Chinese buffets. But sometimes I gotta return to the trenches! The inside is cute with a lot of booths and Japanese decorations. The center consists of a sushi bar with a functioning boat, chefs making rolls and putting jello onto the little floaties. The back has the standard Americanized Chinese fare. Bonus: there is a "Mongolian BBQ" station where a cook will stir fry your creation. Pricing is pretty decent considering there is more than just the hot trays of Chinese. The food itself was pretty OK. Sushi is basic to below average with huge 65-35 rice proportions, so get ready to be full fast. The sushi chefs also focused on saucy rolls vs nigiri. Because there is seating around the sushi boat, it was funny witnessing socially-unaware people go up behind people sitting there to grab a plate even though there was a huge space at the end of the island without seating to avoid this. Anyways, we ate a bunch to get our money's worth and could cross this off the list to never have to go again.

The tacos were delicious and I really enjoyed the chips basket with dips. I favored the bean and cheese dip So I noticed for a weekday they are much more busy on the evening weekends I would like to make another visit on their buy one get one sushi days soon in the near future (Wednesdays) I can't wait because I did enjoy them the first time I came on a Saturday evening. I would highly recommend them because the food is delicious but they should be a little more on checking up and estimate when our server should bring our check or ask if we wanted to order more and I had to wait a bit but I was in no rush but I could tell any other person would be like where is our server. Small issue but I wouldn't pass them up. I do like to point out that the weekends are a much louder scene Their parking situation is very hectic. I was able to grab a handicap spot on a Saturday evening but a Tuesday afternoon, I had circled the parking lot going up and down due to one ways and a lot more cars looking for parking as well, much more difficult during that time for me. Weekends looked busy still I was just lucky that first visit

The salsa was pretty nasty, so we couldn't even eat the chips. They also need to choose a side--Mexican or Japanese--because the menu felt all over the place. On the positive side, I really loved the atmosphere. The décor was very nice, and the bathrooms were clean, which I appreciated, but won't be back. ‍

Average food and poor service…read more My friends and I decided to try Okinawa Sushi on a Saturday evening, around 6pm. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, it took quite a long time for us to be sat. When we got to our table, the first thing I noticed was how large the booths were. If you are coming with a large party, you will likely be able to fit at one booth - this definitely makes this place feel more intimate. Despite the menu being very large, I must say, I appreciate that the there are photos of all the sushi rolls. The photos are definitely not the clearest but they help visualize what you are ordering. The menu definitely has a lot going on. There is sushi, hibachi, and all the side orders and bowls that you can imagine. Our table ordered the Crab Rangoons, Fantastic, Alaska, and Lion King Rolls. The rangoons were unfortunately deceiving. They are large, but have hardly any filling. They were almost entirely fried wrapper with quite literally a drop of filling. As for the rolls, they were alright. The texture of rolls was almost mushy. On some of rolls, there was so sauce that it was all you could taste and made the rolls soggy. The flavors were pretty good, but the portions were tiny. I felt the rolls were comparable to glorified grocery store sushi. When the rolls were brought to our table, my friends and I had to hold back our laughs when we saw the tray. There was a little whale figurine that spewed out steam. This novelty was cute but felt a little tacky. The service was somehow worse than the food. Our table ordered three waters for our party of three yet only two came. Our server said she would bring it to us later. Little did we know, this "later" would be at the conclusion of our meal. The one time she came by our table, she asked us if everything was okay. Before we were even able to provide an answer, she just assumed we would say 'yes' and walked away, making no eye contact with us. She literally walked away so quickly we couldn't tell her we were still missing a water. It felt like she was just avoiding any interaction with us. At the end of our meal, it took a long time for the bill to be brought to us. I don't see myself coming back in the future.
