The store was new to us, as it wasn't there when we were last vacationing in Feb 2019 I stopped in after catching sight of a little girls cheetah print reversible one piece bathing suit hanging inside the store. My almost 7 year old daughter tried it on and she LOVED it. Check! Interestingly enough, in the dressing room were some items that looked like they would fit me, including a pair of Stillwater high waisted loose white pants and this killer top by Peixoto that had poofy arms and an open back in a stunning marigold color. The Clara top, it was called. I tried them on, they fit perfect and I HAD to buy them. So I did. Who knew leaving clothes in a dressing room could work out for another potential patron Maybe it's a new sales tactic (if it wasn't already done purposefully). I returned later the next evening to see if there were other suits for my daughter and the sales woman was so lovely. I showed off my new wears from the night before and she told me how the skirt to match the top was to die for and it wasn't at the store but could be found online. I found it later that night from the Peixoto website and ordered it. Thank you Apple Pay. So, in summation, sending along love and gratitude for your beautiful store, well selected items for purchase, and your terrific, on point staff. Plus I noticed you have the roll-on perfumes and candles from Maison Louis Marie, of which their sandlewood scent (the Bois du Bourgeois) I actually brought with me to Oahu. For those looking for bikinis or swimsuits, they have many styles, colors, shapes, and lots of designer brands too. There is also a section for the kids. Easy parking right on street out front and next to other boutiques and an art studio. Definitely worth stopping in!

I looked in yelp and this place had good reviews and looked like they could meet my needs. First of all , they had exactly what I wanted, a hiking sandal. The sales person could not have of been more helpful. I tried many options and finally pick out what I thought was best for me. I then walk the mile and one half back to town in my new sandals. The store is next to seven eleven and the Aloha gas station. Plenty of parking and easy access to the main road.

The BEST and most comfortable shoes we love to walk everywhere in. Standard pricing you will see most places. I appreciate this place does not try to rip you off by price marking up like other retailers. It's on the pricey side ($50-$200) depending on what style you get, but we've owned pairs that last several years. Quality really matters. Sammy was the most helpful employee! Big shoutout to her as she was very patient with us while we tried on multiple shoes. She's the reason we ended up buying several pairs! We'll definitely come back here if we want more! Redeeming rewards does have its benefits though since they didn't have my size in town I love the convenience of checking online to see that they did have my size here in Kaneohe. Love to take the drive out here as it's just so quite and nice besides I didn't get a chance to visit the newest addition to this Windward Mall location on the second floor and found it nice as it's obviously new though the inventory is up too high here as what they have in the reachable area is very limited to I had to ask for help to reach the very tippy top box which the staff was more than helpful to do so but would be nice if I would be able to try it on my own as I already knew exactly what I wanted but if I didn't know and had to keep asking for assistance that would be a bit annoying for me personally as I like to do it at my leisure. The deal was fabulous as I earned double points and had bonus $5 credit on top of the sale price it was well worth the drive and to get the exact pair that I really wanted. Thank you!

It's pretty pricey though. I saw some sets for around $300. They had a sample where I could feel the sheets and they were super soft. Besides sheets they also sell clothing. They had some nice dresses and shirts. Some were in plain colors and others were in Hawaiian print.

Walking through Windward Mall, I saw a familiar name right next to Target on the ground level: Tanoa I remember this local small business when they were at Ohana Hale Marketplace on Ward Avenue in Honolulu! After that Marketplace shut down, Tanoa found a new home at Pearlridge Center. Later, they expanded to Ala Moana, and now, Windward Mall! Good job! All of the employees were friendly and welcoming! I asked about the discounted items and about the dressing room. Each answer was helpful! I didn't find anything in my high school colors (I'm thinking ahead to our annual luau), but I did find items that I tried on. There were several interesting prints! They even had accessories like hair clips and other merchandise like purses. I'll keep looking every so often. The styles are fashionable and comfortable!

Always passed it but never really stopped by as this Kailua location is right across from Target is easy to spot as it's quite massive having several sections there is quite a bit to see here. Love that they have their own parking lots as well though not a lot of stalls its convenience not to search is always appreciated. What I came for was stickers...love what these local shops have as it's so colorful and creative and finding something different is a challenge but for me was finding them lol as usually you find it in the display case which wasn't the case and as I searched and searched it wasn't on any of the walls or shelves got me confused and wondering if they have any at all. The staff was quite busy as the store was crowded and hand folks lined up to pay I finally found them right against the wall beside the front door lol! Finding unique ones was nice even Kailua ones is cool including the local zip code was nice but I liked the floral prints which they didn't have much of but did have deals on multiple purchase was nice since I was doing that and was thrilled to have some stickers at a great deal as well. Great selection, great surf culture and usually one of the easier stops on our itinerary. This visit completely changed my opinion. My wife wanted to browse, so I stayed toward the back with our two young kids to keep them occupied. We weren't creating a disturbance. We weren't opening merchandise. We were simply waiting while trying to keep two little ones entertained. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like we were being watched. Every few minutes it was another "Can I help you?" Not in a genuine, conversational way, but in a way that made it clear we were expected to either buy something immediately or leave. There was no warmth, no personality, no attempt to make the experience enjoyable. Just a room full of employees who seemed completely uninterested in customers beyond getting them out the door. The irony is that surf shops don't just sell T-shirts and hats anymore. Those can be bought online in seconds. What keeps people coming back is the feeling. The culture. The aloha. The sense that you're walking into a place that actually loves where it lives. That feeling was completely absent here. I've spent years happily supporting this store because I believed it represented something uniquely Hawaiian. This visit felt transactional, indifferent and surprisingly cold. The products are still good. The customer experience isn't. Unfortunately, after years of making HIC part of every Hawaii trip, this was the visit that convinced me not to come back.

I was shopping for a bestie who's gonna finally visit here which I'm super excited and have decided on a couple of scarfs since she's from San Francisco the prints on them are super cute (shells and other is monstera) and since they have a special of buy two get one free I found a sweater that's a scarf that you still could button up that you can use a few different ways. It's on the upper level, near the center where the escalators are... There are all types of key chains, hair accessories, jewelry, coin purses, collapsible tote bags, novelty purses, recyclable bags, purse charms, etc. You'll be able to find a gift for most people here!
