He explained that it was only possible to change days if the weather was inclement. I told him I wasn't willing to take that chance and I would not reserve it since he told me that it wasn't reserved for the day we needed it anyway. He was anxious to get me to reserve it and said that if concrete gets delayed, he'll work with me anyways. I paid the required $200.00 rental and a $100.00 deposit. Sure enough, concrete gets delayed, I walk into the store at 7:05 the morning of the reservation. I spoke with Matt and told him I needed to change to the following day, he said, "This isn't how it works, your day is today, you paid for today, and either take it today or you're out of luck". He went to the back and asked Kevin his side and Kevin denied ever telling me they would work with me even if it wasn't a weather delay. I disputed the charges (which he kept the $100.00 security deposit even though it never left his shop) with my debit card company and they took the charge off, only to put it back on once they spoke with him. My next recourse is the magistrate. It's a matter of principle at this point. I'm writing this review in disgust that not only does a small company act this way with another local business, but he was extremely rude and arrogant with my wife when she tried to call and work things out. He went so far as to say "go ahead, tell anyone you want to, we've been in business for a long time, nothing you can tell anyone is going to hurt our business". After reading his response to all the other bad reviews, you can save your breath Matt, I already see you have an "I could care less attitude" and never seem to even try to work things out with a customer. You only blame the customer for everything and deny any wrongdoing. I will call my debit card company Monday, and will also file a claim with the Magistrate. I'll see you in court. P.S. I rented a buggy for less money from ORE Rentals in Easton for less money and they were, as always, extremely accommodating. They let me return it the following morning, first thing, (we didn't have enough time to return it by 5 that day) and didn't charge me a penny extra.

The motor has not even been wiped off and did not look like it had even been taken apart. I suspect they just filled the fluid and moved on. I called about it, and they admitted they did not check if the repair had been successful because they were too busy. They had my mower for three weeks and I am back to square one, minus some money. This company does a large volume of work and they are shorthanded; go elsewhere if you don't want to waste your time and money.

I tested it before leaving the store and it worked fine. Of course, when I went to use it at home, it didn't start. I called Rental World and less than 15 minutes later a truck pulled up with another plate compactor -- I couldn't believe how quickly they responded. I've compared prices and selection with Home Depot's rentals and typically end up renting from Rental World. I wish they were open on Sunday. If you want rent something for a weekend-long project, you'll need to rent it for the entire weekend and then return it Monday morning.
