I wanted to take a moment to recognize the excellent service my son received at your Goodyear…read morelocation at 61 E. Second St. in Oswego. My son had a flat tire while we were driving to college, so we first stopped at Goodyear. We were told that the tires needed to be ordered, so we went to Mavis in Oswego because they had the tires available. Unfortunately, the experience at Mavis was extremely disappointing. Although they are a tire center, they told us they could not work on the car because it was too low. This was the first time we had ever encountered that issue. The car has always been properly maintained and serviced, and no other shop has ever claimed that its height prevented them from safely working on it. Rather than making an effort to find a safe solution, Mavis simply turned us away, leaving us to deal with the problem elsewhere during an already stressful situation. We then returned to Goodyear in Oswego, and the difference in service was remarkable. Your team had no problem safely getting the car up and changing the tire. In addition, my son has custom wheels and did not have the proper tool needed to remove the lug nuts. One of your employees went above and beyond by finding the correct tool so my son could keep it in his car in case he ever experienced a similar problem again. What impressed me most was the confidence, professionalism, and willingness to help shown by the Goodyear team. From the moment we arrived, I felt assured that your employees would find a safe and practical way to get the job done rather than simply turn us away. That is the difference between excellent customer service and poor customer service. Goodyear earned five stars from us, and I truly appreciate the way your employee helped my son and made a stressful situation much easier. Mavis should seriously reconsider how it handles vehicles with low ground clearance. If a tire center cannot safely determine how to position a jack under a low vehicle, it should either improve its equipment and procedures or be honest that it is unable to provide the service customers expect. Turning away a customer over an issue that another tire shop handled without difficulty was unacceptable and reflected very poorly on Mavis. Please pass along our thanks to the Goodyear team. Their professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. Sincerely, Vincent

The employees here are very courteous and professional. It's always a joy to come here!read more

I have chosen Tom's auto for my repairs after sadly dismissing a mechanic I have been dealing with…read morefor 20 years I put my faith into my mechanic as my car is a valuable commodity and I would expect that the mechanic if he is going to charge 100/hr is going to answer his phone when you call and get what you want done in a timely manner if you have to wait for his scheduling of your repairs, Sadly after 1 year of service on 2 vehicles I may be doing another change as I just recently scheduled an oil change and cabin filter as well as winterizing my vehicle which includes a full check over of EVERYTHING. Yet after the appt I have noticed that no cabin filter was done and my brake fluid is not even full and after listening to Tom's phone go off and his son not answer until he was right in front of me and then complained about a customer wanting service same day and his fathers scheduling on the calendar and how he had to fix it because Tom is never there he is always out back just blows my mind YOUR OWN FATHER BUD??? nope I'm good I will find yet another mechanic to do what I need. I definitely won't recommend you. Your Dad is a good man and thats who I thought was fixing my car he has 5 stars as a review and you just cut that in half. I am so sorry the business is not running as seemingly smooth as when I first came but maybe thats because Toms son is involved and I apologize TOM SR but you have to be able to trust your mechanic for sure. You might want to check that boy at the door.
