Great vibes and great service. Were been coming here for about a year now to get the Japanese version of various Pokémon booster boxes, and the prices are fair. They also sell sleeves and folders to store your Pokémon cards. Thank you TopSpot Cards!

The shop is a cute little place to grab Japanese cards if you're in the area lookin for boosters. The service is great and the value is similar to what you would find online. I've pulled two god packs from booster packs I've purchased from them and I couldn't be happier! Definitely an amazing local card shop that I would recommend to anyone

This place is a small and humble shop that's loaded with all sorts of goodies! Me personally, I'm only collecting Pokémon cards right now, but the shop had a variety of stuff like holo live, demon slayer, and more! Definitely a collector's shop for sure, cause they had a lot of Japanese sets, like the Pokémon x yu nagaba set, and the current that one comes with stamps and stuff (the name eludes me). I was here for the new vmax climax set that just came out recently in Japan! The owners were also very friendly and super knowledgeable! He helped me pick out my first box and I was able to get my chase card (vmax pikachu with red). Second box I picked out but it also HIT . They were also telling me about some new sleeves and cases for protecting cards that match up well with the curved corners of Pokémon cards. They also wanted to tell me about the other non-Pokémon stuff they had but it kinda slipped past me hehe. Overall 5/5 I'm definitely gonna visit this shop again. It's so hard to find a good lgs lately, let alone one with solid prices on so many good collectibles! Might even nab another vmax climax box later on!

Whenever I'm in a new area I like to check Yelp and see if there are any tcg shops nearby. I was pleasantly surprised to find a tcg shop that mainly specializes in Japanese products. They still had a few English sets but a majority of the store was Japanese Pokemon cards (they also had holo live/ Weiss Schwarz/similar types of cards as well). They had a huge selection of both old and new sets that had very reasonable price tags on them. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience much better than I thought it would be. I honestly wasn't expecting much and didn't think I would come back anytime soon but I ended up putting in a preorder for the newest Japanese Pokémon set. The owner was a bit superstitious on picking a booster box for me but all good! My philosophy is "good vibes = good pulls"! I would recommend going if you have the chance and are interested in Japanese tcg! Great experience and the store is set up in a very aesthetic way. Product is put out nicely and everything is labeled neatly. There are a ton of different booster packs hanging on a wall behind the cash register. Pretty content with the overall selection. I was only in there for maybe twenty minutes but they quickly won me over. Wishing them the best! I've attached a photo of my pulls from "Star Birth"

My boyfriend and I recently got back into Pokémon cards and a friend recommended this location to us. We originally were interested in American Pokémon cards, but this shop completely changed our perspective on the entire Pokémon card collecting hobby and community! The shop contains a HUGE variety of items from Japanese and American Pokemon cards (booster boxes and individual packs), to Digimon and other trading card game packs, to even anime cards including trending animes like Demonslayer, Jujustu Kaisen, Boku no Hero, and Hololive cards! The shop owners also hold events where others within the hobby can play together, trade/show off your collection, stream pack openings, or just hang out and enjoy the company of shared interests. I have personally explored dozens of local card shops and no other shop compares to Top Spot in every aspect! It warms my heart to know that the shop owners care so much about their customers and creating a happy place for the community and it really shows! Unlike most local card shops I've seen, the prices are much more affordable and never reseal packs. The shop owners are so knowledgeable and nice and are always open to answering all questions and having a chat about the hobby. Every visit has been a delightful time just speaking with them, and I look forward to visiting every time! Overall, would 11/10 recommend checking out this card shop as I truly believe it is the best one I've ever visited :) and I never post Yelp reviews!

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to learn tufting for the first time!! For those new to tufting,…read moretufting is essentially a texture manufacturing process where you insert yarn into a base fabric to create rugs. The lesson first starts off with choosing a simple base design. Our instructor specifically recommended a design with simple lines and colors to make it easier for our first ever rug, which was around $70. Using a projector, you will trace your image onto the fabric as a template for the rest for your work. Before starting with tufting, we then moved onto a mini tutorial on the ins and outs of using a tufting gun, from yarn insertion to how to create straight versus curved lines. Keep in mind you have to put a lot of pressure on the canvas to ensure that your yarn is being threaded correctly. Going through several practice sessions definitely made the transition to the entire tufting process easier. Starting our rug, we soon recognized how difficult and time consuming the rug tufting process was. Even simple design like ours (a cartoon dog) was a long lengthy process than anticipated and we ended up spending 3-4 hours for completion for one of the smaller size rugs. We were recommended to start from the inside out and using one color at a time, inserting lines of yearn about a fingers width to ensure completion of our rug. Though we initially struggled with creating finer lines, we eventually got the hang of it and were able to successfully complete our rug. Our instructor transitioned us into the final process, teaching us how to trim our rug and prepare it to take home. Personally based on the instructor teaching and supplies available, this class was well worth its price point. Overall, I would say tufting is an impressive skill that I learned for the first time and hope to come again to create more designs!

I've been going to Wondercon for years, taking a few hiatus years off due to child rearing…read morelogistics. Now, my son's been to LA Comic Con, San Diego Comic Con and Anaheim Wonder Con.... This is his favorite convention between the 3. He's not into comic books per se, he's not into TCG's Trading Card Games and "Gaming", he's not into Cosplay ('tho doesn't mind dressing up or people watching), he's not into Artist's Alley nor Celebrities, and generally likes Lego, some video games and Star Wars. So for children 7-14, this is a good convention for many interests. The Lego they have here is primarily 2 main vendors and a few smaller ones who sell unlicensed brick (Lego styled designer imposter) "Mini-Figures" that has many characters that Lego never built, so are "custom" probably mass produced in China, accessible probably at Alibaba or Temu for cheap in bulk. They're usually $5 each or 5 for $20 at Wondercon. The Star Wars stuff is sparce, and they used to have a vendor who sold high end inspired (not licensed) Light Sabers. This convention has a really good representation of vintage to modern comic book back-issues in a focused area of the convention hall. If you collect comics this is equal in many ways to SDCC. The "Artists Alley" pales in comparison to what their creator area used to be with top names of writers, penciling artists and inker artists who appeared representing Marvel, DC and Indie (Dark Horse, Image, etc.) comic publishers who were top named talent. These days they have maybe a half dozen to dozen at best recognizable (mainly local talent) major names. This year (2026) there was Ron Lim, Don Ho, Jimmy Cheung, Norm Rapmund, Joel Gomez, David Mack and a few others. So, the comic book creator guest list continues to shrink (although this year Wondercon competed the same weekend as the C2E2 show, Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. Parking was $25 on-site, but there's FREE parking about 0.5 to a 1.5 miles away walking distance in residential areas. Overall the show has become more of a "Pop Culture Expo" than a comic book convention, lacking presence by any of the big publishers with corporate booths (again, maybe C2E2 is a bigger show than Wondercon and that's where everyone went in '26). I see rooms of improvement revolving around revisiting the glory days of yore, and looking back at what once made Wondercon the 2nd biggest show on the West Coast behind San Diego Comic Con (and this is a SDCC sister show too, by the same organizers). As many have noted in the past decade, Wondercon was a better show when it was held in San Francisco. It's still a good show worth attending no matter what.

Run by the same folks at Comic Con, Wondercon is about a third of the size of Comic Con, but still…read moreso WONDERFUL AND FUN! I've been attending for over 15 years, and its always great! This year was the first time I was a panelist, so I got to go for free! -The best of the best cosplayers come out! It's spring so the weather is a lot cooler and easier to cosplay. -Lots of vendors, artists, and B/C list celebrities. -Lots of panels to learn and entertain yourself at. -Lots of nearby hotel options that are reasonable priced. -Lots of great meetups. -Easy to buy a ticket.
