Lots of fun even for small kids. Tons of food to pick from, vendors and rides for all kids ages. Food is insanely expensive and even more if paying by CC. Not a cheap day/night out whatsoever but lots of fun.

Such a nostalgic event to visit. It's gotten a lil bigger with more to see and do, but still felt the same. Lots of fair food, main stage for evening concerts, great barn areas with tons of displays, a rodeo area, and rides. It was all a lot of fun. We saw plenty of agriculture, animals, and shows. It was really a lot of fun to relive it all again after decades of not going. It's worth going, but go early to get parking in the closest parking lot, recommended to go during the week (M-Th) during the day as opposed to weekends when it's packed, tickets in advance were $15 or $20 at the gate. Parking was $15 too. Of course this could all change each year but you get the idea. If you get the chance this happens at the beginning of October each year and only lasts about 10 days. C'mon it's the oldest fair in America (1818).

Wow what a horrible show: the balloon festival. It's better to learn to climb a tree to get a peak from above than pay $25 to get in a line to get on a balloon to rise the same height , or maybe less sometimes, and stay there for around 30-60 secs. The food places they got were the most inefficient I ever saw : wow, 2 hours to get a simple hotdog on a bun ? NO there wasn't like 500 people in front : maybe 30-40. And then there was the extreme rude behavior the Peking attendants (mostly was high on weed (smell dnt lie) thanks to them being legal everywhere. What idiots they were : not to mention a lot of the people showing up were high too. In all case, I guess it's good to avoid topsfield as although the cops and the city officials were super helpful and efficient rest of the folks were not. 1 extra star just for them. Did I say the loser show was a total gimmick? Probably 10 year olds with a few laser pens can pull off a better one. Dnt let their Facebook or other pictures fool you. Hire their marketing team if u have a business and want to make money. Never going back anything hosted there unless i know it's gonna be good from someone personal and reliable.

    Mexican street corn (hidden gem)

This is my first time back in over 10 years. I came with my family on a Monday as it was sensory day for my autistic nephew. I was surprised to find a line as long as it was, but luckily they advised us that tickets can be purchased online. However, if we had purchased the tickets prior, we could've saved five dollars a ticket. From the first step into the last step we were eating. We started with their chicken tenders, grilled cheese, corn dogs and french fries. To be honest that first stall is kind of a poor start to the day. You definitely have to look around more to find these more quality food options. Such options included the Mexican street corn, pulled pork sandwich, lots of all soup, Keylime pie, Boston cream pie and the blooming onions from spuds. Overall, my family and I had a lot more fun than what I was expecting. Fortunately for us the weather was perfect for walking around and taking our time as it wasn't freezing nor was it hot. I recommend others to bring their friends and families!

Attended this year 2022... definitely too expensive with Brandon inflation for families this year... Parking $15.00 ... should be free Then admission 20.00 ... 18.78 or 19 bucks for turkey leg overcooked as sitting too long as few buying now... Fried dough 10 bucks ... material costs only fraction of this cost... too high for a piece of dough, hot dogs range 8-12 bucks? 5 fried Oreos 8 bucks, pizza slice 8-12 bucks, The animals and shows, and learning opportunities make it worth visiting, but bring a picnic basket for lunch before or after the visit in parking lot ... price of rides, games, forget it.... Add more free events and exhibitions to allow people to still enjoy without spending a weeks pay on a few hour visit....meanwhile vote for people to reduce inflation to the families trying to survive.

The contract called for a minimum of 80 guests and we put down a deposit of $10,000. No one could have foreseen what happened with COVID-19, but by the summer it became clear that the wedding we planned would be impossible. Bramble offered us 3 options: 1. Hold the date of December 11th but cut down the guest list to 30-50 people. 2. Postpone the wedding to another date in 2021, but pay an additional $2500 to reschedule 3. Cancel the wedding and forfeit $6,053 of our $10,000 deposit. The first option was not even possible given the legal limitation on indoor events that were in place in July, 2020 and remain in place. We couldn't have had a wedding with 30 guests under orders issued by the Governor of Massachusetts. The second and third options were equally unacceptable for obvious reasons. We loved the venue and don't blame Bramble Hospitality for all of the problems caused by COVID-19. That being said, we shouldn't have to forfeit more than $6,000. We have been going back and forth with Bramble but have not been able to reach a reasonable compromise. Anyone considering booking with Bramble Hospitality at Willowdale should consider our experience before booking your wedding.

Allison and Sarah could not have been more comforting and proactive. Over email, phone, and video call, they put my mind at ease and I felt so prepared the day of my wedding, no matter what restrictions were in place. Allison could not have done a better job the day of. She built a great rapport with my family, bridal party, and the venue's event manager to ensure the day ran smoothly. She knew the schedule and set up like the back of her hand. When the timing of certain day-of activities changed last minute, she made sure to let me know of the changes and the night went on without issue. If it were not for COVID and my anxieties around how it would affect our wedding I likely would not have looked for an outside coordinator- our venue did provide one that began to work closely with us (and Allison) in the month or so before the wedding and I truly believe she would have done a comparable job in the day-of execution. But it's the long term commitment to the planning process that makes Without a Hitch special. And while our venue did not host many weddings during COVID, Without a Hitch planned so many, and had the experience and suggestions that made the wedding feel as normal as it possibly could. For any of my friends planning weddings at a less conventional venue or just want more support, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Without a Hitch, and more specifically Allison!

We arrived at 10 am and there were fewer than 10 cars in the lot. This is mid October which is peak time so you can imagine how confused we were. $25 got us a small bag to fill. That was all we had to pay for the group of 5 of us! No ticket or bag per person requirements you see at other places. This is a pretty small orchard so by mid-October, I would guess only 1/3 of the trees had apples left. All of the Asian pears and other stone fruits were gone at this point so you'll want to go in September for those. We were still able to get 4-5 different varieties of apples. The only con is that you don't have all the other activities and attractions that you find at larger orchards. No apple cider donuts, farm animals, playground, food, or tractor rides. For us that was okay because my older parents and 1 year old didn't need those things and preferred the quiet experience without the lines. Maybe next year, we'll try Conner's when the little one is older and can appreciate it. If you want low key apple picking without paying a fortune, this is the place for you.

The only downside (not their fault) is that the farm is really close to the Topsfield Fair, so many of the adjacent roads have "closed" signs to prevent neighborhood traffic. If coming from the South, do yourself a favor and ignore the closed signs. Otherwise you might never get here.
