He was flexible and made the time to meet with us on a Saturday morning. He gave us a tour of his facility and took the time to explain in detail the process and materials used to make the sofa we wanted. You could tell he was very passionate about his work and knew a lot which was very comforting. He designed the sofa exactly as we wanted and gave us a quote immediately. During the process, he would send us pictures of his progress. He even invited us to come by his facility to see the sofa before the upholstery was added to make sure we were satisfied. He was very responsive at all times and kept us informed of his progress without us having to reach out. The process went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with our sofa. The quality of the sofa is like no other. We have custom made furniture from other local companies and the quality of ROA surpasses them all. We wish we would have known about ROA sooner. Everyone that comes to our home compliments our sofa. It is extremely comfortable and a sofa that we know will last us for decades. So when the time for the installation came, he arrived one hour late, made a mess in the door because the frame was over 1 inch smaller and he didn't finished the cosmetic imperfections. He went ahead to tell me, "when I come back to install you the other 2 windows I will fix that for FREE". Really? Free? What are the $600 I'm paying you for? So at the end I asked my neighbor how much he paid for his installation with the same guy and it was less than I was charged. After this ugly chapter I found a different guy to install the remaining windows and fix the mess done by Oscar. I gave Economy Windows another chance and placed an order for 3 more windows, Juan Carlos, the owner is so disorganized that he couldn't get the right measurements neither send me an invoice with the right products and amount to be pay. This is my 2nd review of Flooring King. Unfortunately, the floors that were originally installed in…read more2020 were ruined by a leak that went through our house. Not all the areas were bad, but we decided to replace all the flooring to avoid the possibility of mold forming. After remediation was done to dry the walls, we coordinated with Alex to pick out the floors. Communication throughout was great and pricing was more than reaaonable. This install was exceptional. Our quote included moving furniture, removing baseboards and flooring and replacing with new, and hauling the removed flooring to the dump. They took their time to make it right, but they worked quickly and even navaigated through some rain that came through. We had an area in our kitchen where the concrete subfloor was raised, and instead of installing the flooring over that area for a surprise broken board later, they showed us the problem and my husband grinded down that area flat. They came back the next day to finish the floors. I will always respect integrity and honesty in any company we hire! If you read reviews about floors cracking or having issues, it is very likely the subfloor had poor prep or a poor surface, so keep that in mind. I do not believe that Flooring King handles floor prep, so if you have a bad subfloor, and don't get it fixed prior to install, you will very likely run into problems as these are floating floors and are only as good as the surface they're laid on. We were very satisfied with the install, the installers, the pricing and Flooring King. They helped to make a stressful situation more manageable!
