Man, what a horribly disappointing experience both as a paying customer and as a human being. I hit up both locations the one right off the palmetto and the other one deep in Hialeah. Both showrooms looked beautiful with all products in display--the sales associates completely ignored my presence after I asked 3 times for help. Betti at the location off Palmetto and Paulo at the smaller store. I made it very clear that I was there to purchase items (my budget was around $1,500). I ended up leaving the showroom, not upset simply dissatisfied and wondering how on earth these people make any money. Apparently their products are crap based on previous reviews--I didn't even get to that part. It's a sad thing when you have a paying customer walk out the door due to staff inefficiently and attitude. I wish them well, but certainly won't refer anyone to them or will not give them a dollar of my hard earned money. read more

Doral location was great.. they didn't have the sink in stock and they sent me to their Medley location to pick up the sink I purchased based on the measurements I needed. Front desk in Medley/Hialeah were very nice but the back end distribution center employees were incredibly rude. They made me go back and forth 3 times between them and the front desk when they gave me the product that I believed I had ordered and I saw the box was clearly not the correct item I had ordered. They blamed the salesperson. They said they couldn't come inside to help me resolve the issue because they were not allowed to get involved in the sale...they only fill orders and they are just the distribution center, literally connected to the showroom. I got to the front desk salespersons who checked and said the order was correct and sent me back to distribution and round and round we went. And then I realized why the subpar customer service and total disconnect between the 2 departments as if they were 2 different companies. I approached the manager twice during this period and he washed his hands of anything blaming me and said the item is what I had ordered and brushed me off to not deal with me while his customer reps had to "deal" with me because he couldn't be bothered sitting at his desk. No wonder the staff was so completely disconnected. If I were them and had a leader like the manager, Jose Angel, I would react the same way. For the amount I paid for gas to get here, I should've gone to Home Depot and surely would've received better customer service than at the "Headquarters" of DAX in Medley. Very disappointing and it takes A LOT for me to get so upset with a service enough to give a 1 star review. I surely hope, for the sake of their business, that they do something about the lack of customer service. read more

Our contractor recommended DAX faucet and kitchen sink. Had both for less than 8 months and I regret listening to the contractor. Sink scratches easily and that was with the rack installed to protect it somewhat. I actually believe some of the scratches are from the rack rubbing against the sink. The rubber pieces on the rack constantly fall off. Previously had stainless steel sinks for many years and never had scratches like these. The faucet already leaks too. Looks good in the show room but quality is not what I expected for the price. I should have read the reviews prior to purchase. Another review stated their sink had scratches only after a few days. My scratches started within the first month. I contacted customer service about the sink and was told stainless steel scratches. I previously had higher end Kohler stainless steel sinks for over 10 years and never had scratches like these. Now I have to see if DAX will honor warranty for the faucet. read more

Their products are of very high quality and I can say I'm very happy with the whole experience. I don't really understand the other reviews, they don't match my experience at all. Purchased a kitchen sink from Dax: Dax Stainless Steel Double Bowl Kitchen Sink 60/40 R-15. The bottom of this sink was horizontally flat. It did not have any kind of slope or inclination that leads the water to the drain. Each time you open the faucet, an even amount of water remains undrained, just sitting at the bottom. Each time, one must manually sweep the water towards the drain. If there's food or other particles, these also stay evenly distributed along the bottom of the sink. It's a terrible design flaw. The sink is never dry or clean unless you manually get rid of the water and dirt, and then dry it. You cannot use the grid because one always has to clean under it. I called and also wrote the company for technical assistance, which they promised but never provided, despite multiple attempts. To make matters much, much worse, this is the kind of flaw you only notice with use. So, the sink is currently installed, and the newly installed island stone has been cut around the template of this sink. There's no going back! read more

Customer service here sucks! I went in with my husband, we informed the salesman what we were looking for and instead of helping and genuinely caring, he did nothing. We walked around the show room and everything was "no", "no, we don't have that", "no, only this color", "nope". Like come on..... I am telling you what I am looking for, if you don't have it then just tell me so that I don't waste our time. He did not seem interested at all. And to be honest he should know what they sell. For instance, I told him I am looking for bathroom vanity that includes black and white, it could be all white, it could be all black, or it could be combined... which ever but those colors. He took us around looking at walnut, grey....... I'm like okay no. He should know what merchandise they sell that are in those colors and show us that or their online inventory. He literally stated "well you can visit the website and see what we have there". I was appalled, then I said thank you and left. Not buying from them! Neither from show room nor online! read more

Very beautiful but low quality , I bought a bathroom sink faucet and shower head. The sink faucet completely broke in half at the handle ! The shower is rusting ! It hasn't even been 1 year. Stay away from this place. Home Depot has much better quality. read more

The very worst sinks on earth ! Contractor installed in March within 2 weeks they all 4 have rust and something black on them. I have scrubbed and scrubbed you can not remove the rust or black. If rust remover takes some off it comes right back. DONOT buy these products!! read more

Very modern and attractive products but all garbage! We bought a fixer upper over a year ago and decided to go with a modern look so we purchased a couple of things from this company (sink, faucet, toilet, & towel rack) and literally had problems with all of them. To start off the sink had horrible scratches only after 1 or 2 days of using it. The faucet switch/button you would have to press really hard and for a while to switch from the spray setting to regular water and would have both coming out at the same time until it eventually broke completely. The toilet does not flush properly leaving waste behind so you have to flush multiple times to get rid of it completely not to mention the toilet seat cover keeps loosening up and moving around so you have to be reaching deep in the back of the toilet to adjust/tighten up the screws. Lastly the towel rack which appears to be perfect is not parallel one side is shorter than the other. I wont buy from them ever again and do not recommend them at all! read more

Quality control needs to be improved in a big way. High end in appearance, but the quality is inferior to other brands. Very disappointed with our new faucet. Installed only 4 months ago and it has developed a drip. I called customer service who said the "repair kit" is $19. I refused to pay for a repair kit for a 4 month new faucet. They relented and mailed me a plastic cartridge that probably cost $1.25 But now the fun begins. The screw I need to remove to replace the cartridge, in addition to being damn impossible to reach, has a proprietary head that requires a special tool. It isn't a Philips head screw; it isn't a slot head screw; it isn't a hex head screw; it isn't an allen wrench screw. It's like nothing I have ever seen, something like this: \_ Like a reclining chair. What am I supposed to do now? Let me guess: DAX sells the unique tool?? Or I can call a plumber for a $100 house call. Or most likely, I will rip this POS out of the sink and replace it with a quality Moen or Delta faucet. Someone put the idea of a DAX faucet in my wife's head and I didn't bother to review the company. Had I done so I would have never purchased it. The consensus online is that your products are overpriced, inferior quality, and your customer service is worse than Comcast's,and that's saying something! read more

DAX products are extremely expensive, although some of their designs are beautiful and modern. The quality of the materials is in general doubtful. I bought them multiple items a year ago, the sink at $ 398.40, the sink faucet at $ 550, a soap dispenser for the sink at $ 76.50. Always the dispenser had its problems from the beginning to remove the soap, but today the plastic pump inside stopped working, and there is no way to remove the soap. Call DAX, Customer Service, explain my problem, and tell him that it is not due to misuse, abuse, or handling, and they tell me that this has no guarantee, that I have to buy the soap dispenser again. $ 76.50 if I want to repair it. It is a lack of respect, an abuse to the consumer, abusive and a scam to the client. I recommend that if you are going to buy do not do it in DAX, choose other sellers that give a minimum of warranty, since DAX does not give any warranty or service of reemployment or repair, if any of your objects presents a problem.
