Completely ghosted me (both calls and text messages). In fact I thought perhaps he simply went out of business until I saw their truck recently leaving a shopping plaza around my work. Avoid this company ( Luis Alvarez) at all costs - complete scam and unprofessional behavior…read more I hired this contractor to remodel my kitchen and bathroom, and it has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. After demanding a large upfront payment, he completely stalled the project, disappeared for weeks, and refused to answer calls or messages. He ultimately ran off with my money without completing the job. What little work was done was subpar and had to be redone. Pipes were left exposed outside the walls, requiring full re-plumbing. Electrical work was unsafe and not up to code. He installed wood baseboards in the bathroom instead of tile (a basic industry standard), which makes no sense in a wet environment. Worst of all, the kitchen was never completed at all. This business is incompetent, unethical, and should not be operating. I'm now out thousands of dollars and had to hire another contractor to fix their mess. I'm sharing this to warn others -- do not make the same mistake I did.
