They told the contractor that both colors were very close (using the code, of course they have to be close, they are the same paint). So they try a middle ground between the original paint and the piece of wall, the result was 2 gallons of a slightly darker paint. No surprise because what we needed is just to match correctly the current color with the piece of wall. They just replaced one of the 2 gallons with the color of the sample and I have been waiting for 3 days and made multiple attempts to speak to the manager.... So far no explanation as to why they will only replaced one gallon. You are either at fault for both or not at fault at all.

I wasn't happy because the store is an hour from my home and it was a huge hassle to go back. When I went back they first blamed Benjamin Moore for changing the color formulas and said it wouldn't match. Then they said the sheen choice caused the difference. They were willing to give me a new gallon of the same paint grade at no charge but then said it needed to be a different sheen that they didn't have in that grade. So they ended up giving me a more expensive paint grade and said they would eat the cost and I offered to pay the difference. When it came time to settle up the clerk changed his story and tried to charge me the full amount. In the end I was only able to get them to knock off $10. What a joke. I would not go back.

Today I went there and the moment i stepped in, I was greeted cheerfully. The guy asked me what I need, and then proceeded to grab a basket and took me where the products are, and filled my basket with what I need. Once, I went there to duplicate a key. They didn't have the same base key to file from, so they use another one. Took the staff extra time to do that, and then he insisted that i do not need to pay for it, as he wasn't sure if it would work perfectly. From the very first phone call, JC was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They scheduled a free in-home consultation within a couple of days, and the consultant arrived right on time, listened carefully to what I wanted, and offered fantastic suggestions without any high-pressure sales tactics. He took precise measurements and helped me choose the perfect style, color, and finish that complements my décor perfectly. The installation crew was just as impressive. They showed up on the exact day promised, laid down drop cloths to protect my floors, and worked efficiently and neatly. The shutters were custom-made and fit every window like a glove--no gaps, no adjustments needed. The quality is outstanding: solid hardwood, smooth operation, and that classic, elegant look that instantly elevated the whole house. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail. They even adjusted the tilt rods exactly how I wanted them and made sure I knew how to clean and maintain everything properly. The pricing was fair and transparent--no hidden fees or surprises on the final bill. Honestly, it felt like a premium service at a very reasonable cost. I've already get compliments from everyone who visits, and the difference in light control, privacy, and insulation is night and day. I recommend Elite Decor to anyone looking for plantation shutters (or any window treatments, really). They're true professionals who take pride in their work, and it shows.
