its absolutely delicious and very warm atmosphere , the prices are very good for the quality of food .

Our waitress (Hailey) never checked on our table after dropping off the first round. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks when it wasn't busy at all - we had to ask other staff to find her. We had to constantly go to the bar and get our own drinks. Our girlfriend got sick in the bathroom (not drunk) and 4 male security guards (armed) were waiting outside of the bathroom for her, which was incredibly inappropriate and over the top. Once management (Rene) deemed her fine and not drunk, the rest of the staff continued to stare and point at us. No toilet paper in the restrooms either. We come here often and this was just a really poor experience. Would much rather 45 mins to go to the Ontario location than 10 mins to montebello. Shame on the staff for their incredibly weird vibes. read more

I've written very few bad reviews, but the way we were treated was just not okay.. We had a 50 dollar gift card that we took out of the packaging before we paid and they told us we had to activate it online, which confused us because on the packaging it says to swipe as a credit card. They came back and told us they didn't have a credit option. We showed them how we put the card in online and it showed 50 dollars. So then, they said they would try again. They came back and said it worked for only 25 dollars, however, online and on the packaging it says 50. So then they said they would try again. They came back and told us the most they could do for us is 40. This confused us because we weren't trying to bargain with them, we literally gave them a new (just opened) 50 dollar gift card and they tried telling us only 40 dollars could be used. I'm just confused on how it went from 0 dollars, to 25, to 40? Do not use your gift card here. We feel like we might've been scammed. We wish they would've been nicer in the process too. One of the workers tried to basically deal with it because it just happens with gift cards sometimes. I would definitely think twice before getting someone a gift card here. We feel so disappointed and it ended our day on such a bad note. read more

First time playing Top Golf. My family and I had such a great experience. Everyone here is so nice and the customer service was amazing. Bree our server was so nice and attentive and made our first experience great!! Highly recommend this location!! read more

Parking - great. Vibe - cool. Bar food - not good quality and too expensive for the quality they serve. Drinks - worth it.

this place is cool i took my two kids and they had a blast playing golf the staff was friendly and helpful and food was also very yummy!

Overall great experience. finished up our time and wanted a minute to finish our beers and the last of our food. noticed there were 8 bays open; and seeing as there were 5 employees standing behind me at any given point..i didn't think the 1/2 beer we were attempting to finish was going to be rushed by 2 employees telling us they needed it asap .. all for the employees who decided to hit balls in the same bay they rushed us out of @ 3:14pm on a slow friday ... only to be watching them hit balls 10ft away from where we were finishing our early evening date in the 3rd floor bar... moral of the story...have a little more customer service awareness and don't push out customers who payed a pretty penny and tip well. we understand if it's a busy night and the bay is reserved, but it was empty an hour after they kicked us out and a cluster of servers are still standing around. read more

Our first time at top golf was a horrible experience. We expressed that we wanted to move our bay from the corner to the middle bays. However they told us they could not accommodate us. When we started playing our ball dispenser was extra slow and we complained and they took a long time to fix the machine. Even when they did fix it our monitor for the games was lagging & not working properly. It took 30 minutes of our time & they were not able to extend our times. Overall we did not have a good experience & did not feel like they accommodated our needs properly. Not sure if we will be coming back. read more

Where do I start? The service was amazing. Travis was awesome. Very attentive and High energy will be back with a bigger group. The food was amazing. Please order the wings. Drinks were amazing as well but super expensive so be mindful great place to host parties and celebrations be careful about getting drunk because the cops do wait for you outside in the parking lot, ready to pull you over and give you a DUI the music choice isn't the best. They should have a better DJ but overall 10 out of 10. Just be careful about the police in the parking lot. They will be ready to pull you over and give you a DUI. read more

The waitlist is a joke! I have been going to top golf in different locations in LA and out of state, there is no point of doing waitlist here in Montebello. I been sitting outside for 2 hours and saw many bays empty, they probably want people to pay more by the reservation system. Horrible experience. read more

Had an absolute perfect time for our First time at top golf, right down the street in Montebello!!!!! Joseph, the bartender Ashly, and our amazing server Ellena made sure we were well taken care of. Plus the manager Alexis was a life saver when we had a small mishap at our table. I'll be back every weekend just for the amazing service I know they have here. read more

The place is nice but the service is almost nonexistent. Went there on a weekday night with a buddy, none of the service staff asked us if we wanted to order anything. We had to go to the bar. The food is okay, the portions on the nachos are ridiculous. Same for the pretzel poppers. I think you'll get a better experience at Dave & Busters if you're into sports bars and could care less about the golf driving range. read more

After a really bad experience, we gave it another try and so happy we did. Date night turned out exactly how we wanted too. Raul was an excellent server who always checked in on us even though we were a party of 2. The manager Jaclyn checked in to make sure we were also having a great time. Will make our date list again! Thanks Raul and Jaclyn! read more

Service was ok. Diego was our server and was tentatively nice. The machines started messing up after we added time and the manager offered us 15 off our next visit. And mentioned that after midnight all the machines malfunction. WHY WOULDNT MANAGEMENT LET GUEST KNOW NOT TO PLAY AFTER MIDNIGHT. The 15 off went in the salsa for the chips cause i will never go back to montebello location. She did nothing for us getting ripped off for adding money. Wont be back ! She told us for future reference to come earlier ! HOW ABOUT YOU CLOSE EARLIER read more

Customer service needs to improve, I usually take advantage of their $20 unlimited play open - noon.... Usually it's the first floor that is open for that... makes sense right.. well an employee named "candy" said she couldn't accommodate me on the first floor because they don't open until 5-6pm... I told her I've been here before and have played on the first floor around 10a... "candy" said the first floor was all rented out to a private party... I take a look and only like 4 stalls were occupied... as an avid student of golf, I don't benefit swinging from the 3rd floor... she didn't seem to care and told her to cancel the stall read more

1st time coming to this location with a group of friends we checked in got seated shortly after. We got greeted by Elena with great customer service she took our orders and was very attentive to our needs with drinks and food. Our food was even nice and warm which was a first. Our table was very happy as we didn't have to wait very long for anything compared to other times. Thank you Elena for making this a great experience! read more

Loaded for fun in trying your golfing skill. Our family enjoyed a wonderful time at the Top golf in Montebello. Servers are so accommodating especially ours, Ronnie, his enery and enthusiasm added to our fun, he was there to take our order and made us feel like our private waiter, and was there for what ever we wanted. Because of him, he added to the wondeful atmosphere that was benefical to our family birthday celebration. Hope all servers are as attentive. Food and drinks were very good. We had so much fun the time just flew by we added more time. Definelty a place for fun times and make special memories as we did, Thank you Top Golf Montebello. read more

Horrible waited 3 hours and ate at the 3rd floor for 6 people to go to a a bay with chairs instead of the sofa like el segundo always does first time here and disappointed. I also have little kids younger than 7 and they are putting them in high chairs instead the bay which is a safety hazard and liability. read more

Bad service. Disappointed. Not worth the time or money spent. This was my first visit at the montebello location. All other locations I visited had better service. This is only a review for the montebello location. I went for a catered celebratory event. Most of us were excited to visit the new location until... 1.) We started late. Staff was slow to start the intro. Not a huge deal but things just proceeded to get worse. One of the lanes was not working and held up our start time even longer. The time was not made up for even though we paid for 2 full hours 2.) The staff seemed inexperienced and the team was way understaffed for the amount of people we had on our reservation. They kept forgetting our orders. I ordered coffee and it just never came out. Another person ordered a mimosa, it never came out. When I asked the waiter, he said he didn't remember. They did not do a good job of checking in and making sure we had what we needed. We constantly had to approach them and remind them what we asked for. It got to a point where we just realized they were not going to improve and we gave up. 3.) We opened a separate tab for beer and cocktails. Without even asking if we were ready to close out, the waiter brought us the check to pay. We still had 30 minutes left and were planning to order another round. We just looked at each other confused. At that point, we were so over the staff and their bad service that we just said forget it, signed the check and paid. 4.) With still about 40 minutes left of our reservation. The staff announced they would be clearing the buffet we paid for. We asked for boxes to take leftovers. Only one box was given to someone and the rest of us who wanted a box were ignored. We were eventually told that they aren't allowed to pass out boxes. So basically we paid for a full buffet and we're not allowed to take the food we paid for because they do not distribute boxes. Makes no sense. We should be allowed to take the food we paid for. Topgolf is expensive. They can afford to spare some to go boxes. 5.) The staff basically took drinks out of our hands and off our tables about 5-10 minutes to the end of our reservation. Again, we were all shocked by their behavior and service. It felt like they were kicking us out. They did not even ask if we were done with our waters or drinks, they just walked up and took them away. They didn't even say anything or look at us. We looked at each other and just said "what the heck is going on. Are they serious" On a positive note, the location is great, there is plenty of parking, the food was good and the venue was so nice. Ultimately, I was so disappointed with this location all due to the staff/service. The staff needs to be put through better training and in general the location needs to have sufficient experienced staff especially when a large reservation is made. read more

Came to this Montebello Topgolf tonight. Waited 3 hours on the waitlist. They didn't give us the option for two bays. We waited the three hours and started playing for a waitress to come and complain about how many of us there were when they didn't want to give us the two bays from the beginning. The manager came and told us she didn't want to serve that many people and then switched that it's the "rules". If it was the rules they should have offered two bays or let us know we couldn't join the waitlist. Overall bad service and bad communication. Wasted our time and money since we were charged 30 dollars for the half hour we "played" but were figuring out how to fix the issue. read more

I'll get straight to the chase: PROS 1. The establishment is clean 2. Staff is friendly 3. There is plenty of free parking CONS 1. Food & drinks are overpriced ( not much value for your dollar ) 2. The food is mediocre 3. Drinks are weak (not worth the $$$$) 4. Security eye, you like you owe them money 5. No Happy Hour read more

We reserved a party package for my son's birthday which included 2 bays near each other , a server 2 hour play etc . Since we had more questions we attempted to email which were not answer , we called which was not answered , so we gave benefit of the doubt it's brand spanking new so my husband walked in a day before to confirm everything so when we arrive with our party there would be less hiccups.. we arrive and were escorted to our bays rights away .. but here is where it goes wrong .. we understood 8 people can sit in each bay and the rest of our party can stand behind us etc well that was not The case so after going back and fourth and loosing play time as they will not help you until there is only 8 people per bay we finally are able to get another bay was a couple down from us which was ok .. we finally get to start playing order food and drinks which took about an hour to get . They put all our food on one bay and not the other so I ended up having to order more food to accommodate the party .. it was frustrating. But everyone was trying to be patient and find solutions . The staff knew it was my son's bday and gather to sing to him which was special ! I think I would not book a party again but just rather play as a regular person .. Pro : Brand spanking new , everything was really nice Servers do there best / patient/ professional Cons: Food orders took forever Still working out the kinks They do rush you out once your time is up even though your food just got there . No catering available for larger parties read more

Unfortunately had a terrible time. Showed up at 5/18/24 around 820pm and checked in and was told to wait at bar until the system texted us for our bay at 845pm reservation. No text came so I went to check in ten mins past the reservation time 855pm and the front desk was surprised we didn't get a text yet one came immediately after this point at 858pm. Got up to our bay around 9pm and started playing. The time left said less than the two hours we paid for. I inquired why this would be the case if they didn't notify us until 9pm we should play until 11pm. Multiple managers spoke to us and said they were unable to extend our game play bc it was a busy Saturday night and the waitlist was long so we would have to leave at 1045pm - the end of our original reservation time bc they were unable to give us the remaining 15 mins of our two hours paid. They acknowledged it was their fault not ours. The first manager offered us $15 off, the second manager offered us 50% off the gameplay. The clock expired and we had half a pitcher left to drink of beer. After about thirty seconds to a minute a third manager came (appeared to be at the behests of our waitress) and approached our bay and asked if he can move our stuff to a common area. We moved to a nearby table to finish the pitcher and our bay was still empty at 11:10pm while we waited. Was difficult to enjoy the beers bc we continued to get looks from staff. Of note There were also multiple nearby bays open for at least thirty mins nearby (see pics) so it's not clear to me why they couldn't give us 15 mins we paid for. The customer service was horrendous and they wouldn't have lost four customers if they just extended our bay for fifteen more minutes rather than kicking us out 15 minute early. The discount on gameplay was the minimum they could do and took multiple times to even provide. FYI be aware that you are responsible for ensuring this business operates their bay management correctly and will be held to their time clock even if it's their fault. You must be proactive if you do not receive your text at the start your time slot. By the way for a better experience go to Monterey park golf park for a driving range. read more

TLDR- Overall, it was a TERRIBLE and DISAPPOINTING experience for our group. All of their responses were bs. They are not willing to do anything to ensure a good experience for their customers. They are not accommodating and they do not care about their customers experience at all. Personally I would avoid this specific location at all costs. I heard this is a new top golf location so I came here to give it a try. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. Our group had made a reservation in advance and we got placed in to the ground level. We asked the front desk if we can switch to a higher level and we were willing to wait. Their response was the they are all full and it will be a 4-5 hours wait. So they were telling me no one will be leaving for the next 4-5 hours? A very strange response. Anyways we proceed to our assigned bay without switching. We ordered water for the table. After like 20 minutes, we saw our waitress standing in the back talking with her coworkers. We asked if she could give us water. She said they were backed up. Ok that's it fine at least let us know to expect for a longer wait. Then, our waters arrived shortly. Not sure if they were backed up or she just forgot to put it in the order. Later on, their system was acting up. The screen froze and we had to ask for a reset. After they reset the system, we asked them if we could have time added to compensate for the time lost. The manager response was unfortunately we have our next reservation coming up they aren't able to add time. So their system was faulty and our group had to lose our playing time because of that?? At the end of our session, the waitress asked us if we wanted to extend our session. Wait a minute, I thought there was a reservation coming up next. The manager wouldn't compensate us additional time due to their faulty system but somehow we were able to extend our session if we pay additional money??? They need to train their employees to provide a better customer service. They just give you dumb responses to brush you off. Overall, it was a TERRIBLE experience for our group. All of their responses were bs. They are not willing to do anything to ensure a good experience for their customers. They are not accommodating and they do not care about their customers experience at all. Personally I would avoid this specific location at all costs. read more

I came to Top Golf for a friend's birthday party and I wasn't expecting it to be this much fun because I was expecting some problems since they had only opened 4 days before. I was happy with everything, overall, the only complaint I have was with the bar. I didn't expect the bartender to take so long seeing no one was being attended. We ordered two drinks and a beer and it took almost twenty minutes to get them and to me that's an issue because if he was this slow with no one but us 4 waiting there how long will it take to get drinks when they are busy? (1st floor bar) Other than that it was a good time and the staff was helpful and friendly. So if you're looking for a place to have fun swinging at golf balls and just hanging out with friends, give it a try I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Oh before I forget if you're going to have a large group call and make reservations it'll be easier. read more

What an awful experience me and my family and had. We checked in for the bay and wasn't informed of an event that was planned, therefore, leaving us with only an hour of play time. We ordered drinks which took twenty minutes to receive, as well as food that wasn't received at all after waiting for 45 minutes (we cancelled the food). It wasn't until we tried paying for a second game that the server finally decided to let us know about the event they had planned, thus kicking us out at the end of our game play. We were told to speak with the manager, which we did and were only told "sorry" and given a card for our "next visit". Why would we return after this type of experience? The server was also ill-informed on how to place a proper order when subbing out alcohol, as well as confused as to how to separate the check and charge us. Such lack of customer service for the current experience we had. We won't be returning! read more

Decided to check the new top golf location out. I saw they had a special on a Wednesday through the app so my friends and I decided to go. Check in was quick and easy. We grabbed drinks at the bar while we waited for our bay to be ready. Bartender recommended some good drinks. We liked the strawberry mule. Once we got to our bay the waiter was nice and explained the games to us. Food was pretty good nothing special but it was a good vibe and we had a good time. read more

The server was horrible and rude wanting us to buy things which we did of course and it took forever to come out we had fun playing golf but the security was weird. Definitely do not recommend this location due to horrible service and slow delivery of food and order quality !! Not to mention seeing security guards man handling another customer who just seemed to be leaving with a friend ! When I say it was police brutality and to be a security guard putting hands on a little nerdy guy it was unacceptable! Overall good time with friends and family. Would have been better if: -the bartender washed his hands and used the brand of liquor that appeared on my tab, and if he gave us straws, napkins and limes. -there was toilet paper, soap and towels in the bathroom -if the waitress brought glasses with the beer -if they turned the outside fans on during the daytime hours -if they didn't sneak in a $15 booking fee -if they didn't force each player to provide name, email and cell phone... like, why is that even necessary? -other than all of those things, cool place.
