As someone who frequents the Topgolf in Orlando Florida this establishment is disgusting. Both managers we dealt with seemed to not know anything about their job or how to handle when a customer has a complaint/question. The main one that was a huge issue and completely ignorant and rude was JOSH, but the other manager was LEXI. remember the name JOSH. For some backstory we booked a $510 package for 3:45 which included two bays for two hours and $250 worth of food costs. Not to mention we likely would have bought merchandise, additional drinks and food, and may have extended our time in the bays if available. In the "special requests" when booked online we specifically put "second or third floor. Third preferred". Upon arrival (at 3:20 may i add) we were told to step away from the counter and wait another five minutes for check in. Then at 3:30 we go to check in and they say ok go to your bays on the first floor. We then spoke up and said "hey in our special requests we asked for the second or third floor" then the manager LEXI went over her radio to see who was available on the second or third floor for us to be serviced by. After a few minutes of waiting she came back up to us and said she needed to run upstairs as no one ever answers her on her radio (not that it's my business but how the hell are your staff ignoring a manager). After she comes back downstairs with her manager, JOSH, and they said they cannot accommodate our requests. We said ok whatever can we just get a refund to which JOSH said he will try as the sales department is out as it is a holiday. First of all, why do you only have half of your staff in office. If you can't have all your staff, niche or not, DO. NOT. OPEN. Well Josh walks away and continues to walk between us and his staff to what appears to be gossip. He never once addresses us In the roughly 10-15 minutes he was "talking to sales" and just walks back and forth past us not even looking at us. When he returns he says they can NOW move us up to the third floor. At this point we don't even want to be in this establishment and say no we just want a refund and to leave cause this is terrible service. He says he can't refund (I don't know how THIS business is run but if your sales person is not in office, give managers approval to refund, or, call the sales guy.). We brought this up actually and he said "no we cannot call him as we have work life balance". I understand and respect that but when we have a specific problem that only ONE PERSON can address, you need to call that person or figure out a way to do it for us. I would also like to mention JOSH rolled his eyes at us multiple times and kept looking at LEXI (who as we were told is beneath JOSH) for guidance and kept asking her what to do. They gave us the sales phone number which we called and immediately went to voicemail. I then flat out asked if we leave and call back tomorrow when sales is open, will we get a refund. JOSH said he cannot tell us if we will or won't so I said once again, if we leave here with no service you cannot tell us we will be refunded our pre-paid deposit to which he said yes he can't tell us if we will get a refund. Avoid this location at all costs. Specifically reserved two bays for an event, advised that we wanted second or third floor. After being told to wait upon arriving we were advised that it would be impossible for us to be accommodated for anything other than the first floor. We requested a refund to which Josh the manager advised that he is completely unable to refund the $255 already paid and was completely unable to reach anyone capable of refunding us. So after an hour of waiting we were unable to attend our event, which was scheduled to end up be an over $510 sale for them. The staff was dismissive, rude, and completely unhelpful. This one location has potentially put me off Top Golf as a brand for the rest of my life. Think I'll go to Drivetime from now on. read more

This place is very racist establishment. I went there for a friends birthday. I played a hour game bought drinks and food my bill was 125$. The workers badgered us asking did we want another game we told them we were ok. My waiter brought me the bill and I gave her my card. Before I even received my card back or my receipt or even a box for my leftover food. There was a worker coming to me telling me I had to leave because a light was purple I understand there policy and that they have to free space for the next costumers. But if I was white they wouldn't be telling me I had to leave before I could even tip or even get a box for the food I paid for. From my chicken sandwich that was as dry as a rabid dogs tongue and the fries that were still frozen from when the kitchen must thawed them out. At least Han Solo was thawed but it seem this kitchen wasn't able to do a simple task as to thaw the fries. The staff at this place were as well trained the script writer for star war the last Jedi because when I asked for a partial refund they were more than happy to tell me to tell me to get lost. That is only the beginning of my experience. I though Moes tavern was dirty and smell like but this place far out does Moe method of hygiene. This place is only looking to get your money since they charge 17 credits or dollars per half an hour and the people working there ask you 20 times if you want to stay longer and waste your time to play golf by talking to you once the time starts so you will need to pay for more play time. The golf balls come out of the machine fast at least but I can't say the same for my food. It took over 45 minutes for the food to come and once it came I still had 15 minutes on the clock for playing and our waitress wouldn't stop the clock for me to eat and laughed at me for ordering 2 appetizers and 2 entrees for myself and said to the other server something about how much I had ordered. At least I was giving them business. The golfing experience wasn't exactly anything special either. My Cryptonite is when I have to walk steps and they had many steps into this place and the guy working at the front desk was some millennial who laughed at me as I made my way up the steps to the third floor. There is no work in Klingon to describe my disappointment in this place it is all an exterior show but once you enter they rack up your bill they charged me over $200 for my who experience and I only stayed for 2 hour and ate four meals counting the appetizers. ...Worst golf range ever read more

Celebrated my birthday there with friends stayed for 4 hours playing and spent a lot of money. It was fun for sure for people that have never golfed but very pricy once you add up playtime drinks and food Those nachos on the menu we ordered 4 times they were so good but drinks were weak we ordered approximately 4 drinks apiece and didn't get a buzz we thought we were getting virgin drinks but the waitress endured us there was alcohol in them. overall not a bad place just very well drinks and I'm not a drinker at all. 1 drink will do be right usually read more

If you're into golfing this is the place for you. We only went here to eat. We ordered the pretzel bites with beer cheese sauce. I have to agree with another comment that these would be good if served hot. Ours were lukewarm. I ordered the Margherita Flatbread which was good. My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich. We had a great time here. I highly recommend reserving a bay as the walk in wait time when we went was over 4 hours. Also the reservation doesn't mean you will get in immediately at that time, however we were in our bay within 10 minutes. Our bay host was nice and explained everything thoroughly. She was around when we needed her, but not overly bearing. I loved the option of extending our game time because our group was indecisive at first hahah. Second time here. First time wasn't very fun either. The food is terrible and very over priced and the golfing experience was mid. To say the least. It seems cool from the outside but you can have a lot more fun in a real golf range. The only reason I went back earlier today was for a group gathering. We had people coming from 2 hours away. We called before to see what the age limit was for golfing at night past 9 and a lady said as long you have an 18 year old in our pod we were good to golf. When we got there they wouldn't let half the group in because they were 17. Wasn't too angry about not being able to golf since the place really isn't anything cool anyways but definitely upset about the waste of time and gas money. read more

It was my first visit here. I was able to make a reservation, at no cost (not sure if that promo is still running) a week ago. I received a confirmation email. Also, I received a text assigning my bay a few minutes before my reservation and was able to walk right in a go to my assigned bay. There my group was greeted by Julie, who did an awesome job. She explained everything to us and was very friendly. We played for about 2 hours and hit somewhere around 60+ balls each (there were four of us). You can bring your clubs or they have clubs provided. They provide mens, women's, junior, and kids clubs. There were various games that could be played. It was an exciting alternative to just golfing on a course. We were on the second level and it was a nice view as well. They have various food and drink options too. We did order the pretzel bites and they were delicious and served hot. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend. read more

I'm not a golfer and if you are wondering if you need to be a golfer to have a good time, you don't. This is a fun way to socialize and spend time whacking golf balls at targets, trying different games that are available and enjoying food / drink. We were able to get a bay during a busy Friday night and the place was packed but in that good way of a new place with an excited vibe. Our foursome spend 90 minutes competing, eating and laughing at our antics on the tee. We tried pizza and pretzel bites for apps which were pretty decent. Burgers and sandwiches for dinner were served a little late and wouldn't be out of place in any sports bar. The staff kept us well attended and drinks were replenished quickly (this is a bar after all). I look forward to my next visit and encourage others that like to have fun, socialize and have a couple of adult beverages. read more

I am a platinum member at Top Golf and I pay a lot of money to have the special treatment that comes with the platinum membership so I am able to bring work clients to the facility. The staff at this location is EXCEPTIONALLY rude every single time I go. Compared to other top golf locations this is by far the absolute worst. Half of the staff walks around with no mask on. The reception people are rude and have no idea what they are doing. I have to explain to them how to do their jobs and how a platinum membership works everytime I go. I do not know why this location is so horribly run compared to the other Top Golfs but it's embarrassing for me as a platinum member. Have been waiting eagerly for the Topgolf opening in my hood and it gladly lived up to my expectations (and more). I'm not a golf pro or aficionado, but what a fun activity to do with friends at night for people of all skill levels. First off, ample parking and right off the freeway. Secondly kudos to the interior designer for keeping it modern and sleek. This establishment is a very well oiled machine and each employee was genuinely helpful and pleasant. I was expecting a long wait for a golf bay because of its popularity. Perhaps it was the mischievous CLE winter (it was 15 degrees that night with windchill), but we got in right away on top floor (three floors). Thank you Topgolf for being so accommodating, there were heaters up there, unfortunately not warm enough for us (we took turns hanging out inside when it was not our turns). You are free to bring your own clubs or use the variety provided by Topgolf (which were all brand new). So for Topgolf newbies like myself, it's not just a driving range, there are games you can play that were suggested by our server. There were perhaps 9 large circles of varying diameters and lit up with different colors to gain points for some of the games. One other thing that stood out from my experience is that when you order a pitcher of beer, they put in a cooling bar in it to keep it nice and cold. I did not partake in any food that night but when I walked past some of the dining tables, it looked like typical gastropub fare with points for presentation. We went on a Wednesday evening and while it was fun, the game's scoring was glitchy. Not a huge deal as it's just a game. However, the service was so awful, that I doubt we'd go back. The server managed to totally mess up the bills in our group. There were 5 of us with uncomplicated orders and only 3 of the 5 ate. We ended up paying for more drinks than we ordered and 2 sandwiches we didn't order at all. Keep in mind this was AFTER the server attempted to fix our bill once already. After waiting almost 40 minutes for the first bill to be corrected, we ended up just paying the edited bill even though it was still wrong because we were so desperate to get out of there. Warning: based solely on my experience and I will NOT be coming back to Top Golf in Independence, OH!!! I was met by a host of different colored shirts and harassed to "start my game". To add context, I was planning to meet a few friends and I arrived first so figured I'd grab a booth for us and ordered a drink. This is a bad idea as it seemed like a trigger for management. But, on a slow night?! I was one of three parties seated on the top level. Three different managers approached me within a 15 min period demanding me to start my game after repeatedly tell them I'd rather wait for my full party to arrive. I even offered to vacate the booth and wait for them at the bar, however everyone kept saying "typical we don't do that and they'd need permission". At this point, I wanted to leave but felt like they where holding my card hostage to start a game. EVENTUALLY, someone in a red shirt made the decision to allow my party to move to the bar until all players arrived. We eventually played till close and at the stroke of 11pm and while being handed our cards back an armed police officer escorted us out..WTF an experience I will not endure again. Came tonight for the first time. They've been open for about 2 weeks but does it really take 40 minutes to get pretzel bites? At least the server told us this was the time until our food would come before we ordered. Then the computer system went down and our 2 hour wait became closer to 3. More training is really needed. Lots of bays unoccupied while we are still waiting. Very frustrating. And I got hip-checked by a server who apparently thought I shouldn't be standing between tables. This is a great activity and well thought out. However, the deal killer is SO LOUD! You have to scream at each other to even hear. The music is WAY TOO LOUD! I ask if they could turn it down and the waiter said no. Take ear plugs, but then that defeats the purpose of visiting and having fun with friends. This is a deal killer for me. They need to adjust the loud speakers in each bay to make it more comfortable and fun. I had to pay $5 extra just to play in the first place to "make an account", why do I have to pay to make an account? No guest account by the way. Technical difficulties abound, tons of missed balls and the more you play the worse it seems to get where every time you hit a ball the system doesn't register it. First the bad. The balls are weighted down and beat to heck so they don't always travel in the path of a real golf shot. The food and drinks are insanely overpriced. The food really isn't as good as it used to be in previous versions of TG I have been yo across the country. There really aren't many healthy options. If you're going expecting a legit golf practice this really is not the place. Also, I was sold a story some time ago they were going to add flight trackers at TG, something I have yet to see. The good: when the weather sucks you can wrangle up golf buddies and take some real swings that are kind of outside. There have been multiple times that my golf game was slumping and going here and just taking 500 swings helped me get it back. Overall, I'd say it is a fun experience. Be ready to pay heavily for drinks and bay time and eat before you go. Also, I should point out I bought a "lifetime" membership a couple years ago but was forced to purchase another one before I bought the summer fun pass in cleveland. read more

We were told the wait would be 2-4 hours. We patiently waited checking every hour or so. It ended up going on 5 hours and a member of our party went up to the desk asking what was going on with our reservation and a very young and inappropriate staff member started disrespecting our party in front of his manager and his manager told my party we needed to leave and said he would get the cops involved. I love Topgolf! It's really one of the best places that you can go to for family fun day, date night, a night out with friends, etc. This was my first time at the Cleveland location and I would say that my experience was a little underwhelming. The drinks were pretty cool. We had a few shots and a couple beers. I ordered tater tots and they well cold TWICE. Golfing was the best part! I enjoyed playing a few rounds before they closed. We didn't have any problems in the bay and were placed all the way at the end on the second floor in which I believe was the perfect spot. It was a very intimate space. Overall, I would recommend visiting. However, if you're ordering food make sure that it's fresh. read more
