Went during Covid. Was an odd time because you didn't really want to touch food. But they had beers. Staff and service was great. They had beer. And the game itself was fun even if a little expensive. Would definitely come back. Top Golf has also had some events at stadiums. Missed out on that. Hopefully when they do again will do. Had a great night at top golf! Made a reservation online to hold a bay for us that cost $10. Once we arrived, we got a text to head to our bay on the second floor. It was $110 for 2 hours and $5 new member fee for each person. Our reservation was at 10:15pm and we ended up paying extra to stay until close at 1am because we were having so much fun! My group of 5 it was all our first times and it was a blast. There's tons of different game options to play for top golf and our favorite was angry birds to hit down the "towers and pigs" with each hit for the golf. Our server was great, forgot her name but she went by "Rocky" for the night as she was dressed up for Halloween. We enjoyed our time playing golf, server checked back often and was very friendly, we got some souvenir mug alcoholic drinks for $19 (the cup has led glow lights!). Both the berry limeade and pineapple punch golf bag drinks were good. We got a variety of food including Mac n cheese bites, boneless wings, Buffalo chicken dip, burger etc. Ans to end it all we tried all 3 desserts: cookie skillet, cookie crumble sundae and injectable donut holes (donuts were my favorite of the 3). All the food was pretty good and solid alongside the drinks. We were the last ones in the building to shut the place down at 1am on a Saturday. Today was my first time here, I had passed the place before and considered stopping in but never did. It ended up being the location of my work summer party. When I arrived, since it was a work and large group event, they had an employee waiting with a sign to inform us where we needed to go. The staff was so friendly and even with a large group and people moving between seats they took drink orders and kept up with everyone. For a group event they catered our food (chicken and steak fajitas) which were delicious. The remaining time we were all able to socialize and play golf. Having never golfed before I was a little anxious because I had no idea what I was doing, but no matter what level golfer you are (putt-putt is the extent of my experience) it's a fun time. I can see this place being a fun day with friends or even a great date idea for someone who wants to try something different. read more

I really enjoy coming to top golf. We have never been to this location before, until recently, but it was great. We usually go to the new jersey location, being from that area, however since my girlfriend and I were visiting Cleveland, we decided to give this one a try. I love everything about top golf. The have great appetizers to pick on while having a few drinks and just hitting the golf balls out. Some of my favorites are the buffalo chicken dip and mac and cheese bites. A very nice selection and beers as well they offer. They have multiple types of scoring games to chose from, and its just a nice way to relieve stress hitting golf balls, and playing to beat your friends / significant other. The staff and service was great here too. They kept checking in on us if we needed anything. Overall, we had a fun 2 hour session here, and really enjoyed ourselves. I finally made it here and I had lots of fun. Before today, I've never actually swung a golf club before except for mini golf! My whole family had off of work for the holiday this Monday and thought it would be a fun morning activity. We had a reservation for 10:15am and it was not crowded at all, we got assigned right to a bay. The morning weekday price is $27/hr per bay. Split amongst 4-6 people, this is really not a lot and totally worth it. We decided on two hours which was the perfect amount of time in my opinion. In case you aren't familiar, TopGolf is the perfect activity for golfers of all skill levels, ranging from first time golfer to advanced. There's a variety of games you can play with different objectives. We played the classic TopGolf game where you aim for any of the targets as well as a game where you only try to aim for a few. There was a range of ages and skill levels in my group, and everyone had a good time. You pay a onetime fee of $5 up front and you get a lifetime "membership" aka you can play anytime at any TopGolf location and all your game scores are archived online. You can also download the app if you so choose. There's also a server walking around where you can order food and beverages for your bay. Since it was the morning, l got a few classic mimosas and they were absolutely refreshing and only $4 too! The drinks are very reasonable price-wise and much better than just well cocktails you can get at any old bar, and the craft draft selection is pretty good too. It's a place you can order more than one drink and not feel like you're being ripped off. They're clearly going above and beyond with COVID protocols and I felt very safe here. The restrooms are clean and there's hand sanitizer available everywhere. Overall, I was very impressed. This is a fun place to come with a group as it's a better deal with 4-6 people per bay. The food on the menu looked tasty and also reasonably priced so that's something I'd like to try next time. Even if you're not up for golfing, there's plenty of socially-distanced tables and barstools inside to grab a bite to eat or drink and lots of flat screens to watch sporting events. DO NOT book parties here, under any circumstances. Their policies are unfair and outright reckless. We booked a Christmas party here that costs thousands of dollars. We came down with Covid and they would not budge on helping to reschedule. They literally told us TO COME IN WITH COVID. This is totally insane and dangerous, not to mention Christmas is in three days. They want us to come in with Covid and be around our friends, family, and THEIR WORKERS three days from Christmas. Had a good first experience. We went around 6 on a Saturday and it was a 2 and a half hour wait. They took my phone number and we went and got dinner and drinks until I got the text that our bay was ready. They had a large staff and they were all helpful. The bar area is cool, so if you do wait a long time there, you're golden. It was $50 per hour to rent the bay. I believe it's cheaper during non-peak hours. You can play as long as you want. It was really fun sitting on the couches and watching everyone. $4 PBR 16 oz cans isn't too bad either. The girl who was assigned to our bay was quick with drinks and really helpful. They have clubs for you to use right at the bay too which is nice. The technology was a little glitchy sometimes. We didn't get points when we definitely should have a couple times but it wasn't a huge deal. Still a blast. read more

Food was setup in our room but the drinks we had to order through the waitresses which took forever. The food was ok....typical bar food. The drinks were decent if you didn't order a sugary drink (which were way to sweet). Seemed like they were having problems with their machines cause I couldn't put in my member ID and there was a lot of missed scoring (I am not that bad of a golfer as my scores showed). This is booming business that hates its customers. My family and I visited TopGolf Cleveland today. We arrived at 2 pm, put in a food order at about 2:15. I had 4 children with me. It took 45 minutes to get 1/2 of our order. The waitress said this was normal and the rest of our food had to be entered separately and should be out soon. Our food did not arrive until 3:25 pm, 2 burgers and 1 pizza flatbread. Before the food arrived I went to speak with the manager. He said they were aware of the problems in the kitchen and he would compensate us for the late food. I went back to my table and the food arrived at 3:25 ish. My kids who did not receive their food already were already screaming how hungry they were. When the were checking out, the manager provided no compensation on the bill. When I inquired, he took off $20 from a $270 bill. I did not understand because he said he would comp our late food. To me "comping my late foods" means taking off the price of the 2 burgers and pepperoni flatbread. He said no. Comp is $20. When I said that is not my understanding the word "compensating for late food". He argued but offered $30 off, I said ok thank you, but that is still not the retail understanding of compensate which would have been about $42. He got angry, and said he doesn't have to offer anything and stormed off. Is this how your managers treat customers who bring 4 kids to play golf? Is it really ok for him to lie and have a hissy fit? One star food experience Drinks a solid two stars, as long as you like tons of sugar in your mixed drinks. In bay services are extremely poor, expect to order multiple times before your beverages are brought out and then you will receive multiples. The concept of top golf is amazing, target orientated gaming at a driving range in which everyone can enjoy. I had a hard time understanding why the scoring lags as much as it does here, it can take minutes before a ball is scored within a target, or seconds, non of the laggy scoring makes any sense and can be extremely frustrating to play. I equate the experience to using a Dialup internet connection and experiencing a constant lag. The service as a whole lagged and the scoring lagged which caused the game play to lag. Oh and btw you are billed at an hourly basis, coincidence, I don't think so, the billing wasn't lagging hmmm. read more

We had an incredible time for our first visit to a TopGolf! We didn't try any of the food (which looked incredible at other bays) but we still had a phenomenal time. Everyone knows you have a good time so I don't want to beat a dead horse but if you are on the fence about coming, come. The customer service team here is incredible and caters to your every need. I work in the sales & marketing field so I am extremely thoughtful before writing a negative review. I take into consideration that some things are beyond anyone's control and that mistakes happen. I say that because for me to write this review the service had to be inexcusable and that's what I experienced with Top Golf. I booked a party ($1000) for out of town guest. They traveled just to have this experience as I gave rave reviews from a prior event from this year that I hosted at the same venue. Unfortunately they had a power outage (beyond their control) but what is unacceptable is for my guest to arrive at the venue and have to contact me to advise our event was cancelled. I was already in route and when I arrived I noticed the building was already cleared with nothing but workers and was informed that this had occurred some time well before my event was due to start so my question which has still yet to be answered is why was I not contacted but instead feeling embarrassed with my guest feeling blindsided. Furthermore this was a Friday and it took until Monday for my email to be replied so I could get an answer as to when I could expect a refund so I could inform my guest. Its just terrible it took that long for someone to respond considering the circumstances and that it wasn't on their own initiative. Not to mention having no answers for my guest on what to expect. I have been told my refund is processing but it would have been better service if someone had called me on Monday and offered a verbal apology for the inconvenience and to retain a repeat customer such as myself who also brings big business into this establishment besides my personal- a gesture of good will such as please come back on us or some retention effort to keep a good customer who can refer your business since it's my job! First time for everything!!! This experience was some what questionable. Our waitress name was Jordan. She was very attentive and understanding that we wanted our first experience for a birthday event to rememberable. Jordan checked on us multiple times to Make sure we were good. We had fun with Jordan. Now, on to the bad, the kitchen experience was horrible. We went to Topgolf on a Sunday. We waited two hours. While we waited two hours we ordered from the bar. Our bar food took 30 minutes. I requested my pretzel to come out with no salt. It came out with salt. The pretzel was fresh and hot when it finally came out. We finally went up to the third floor to start the fun. We ordered drinks and food. Everyone's food came out cold. We had the max. Our food came out in two phases and both orders were cold and took an hour and 30 minutes to get to us. The kitchen issue is not Jordan's issue. Jordan did great and stayed on top of things. Dylon the manager or the person who gave us the safety speech was amazing. He was able to use my coupon for the sprint incentive. We would come back but I do not know about ordering food. First word to describe my experience- WOW!!!! The building itself is amazing. Such smart architectural design choices. Very spacious place and plenty of parking spots. When you walk in you get yourself set up to put your name on the last and request a bay. They have 3 stories. You pay per bay not per person. While waiting they have plenty of seating area where you can order drinks and food. They have two large bars. When you get seated you have either high tables or couches. They have heaters for winter time so that you are still able to play comfortably. They have choices of many clubs you do not need to bring your own. Several different game choices and 20 balls per game. My boyfriend and I were able to play four games in one hour! You can order in your bay more drinks and food! This experience was like no other and I will gladly come back in a heartbeat! Different days have different prices and so do different hours! Took my 6 year old grandson on Friday morning. Got there at 10 a.m. stood in line for 5 min., got #305, our waitress was right behind us, asking if we needed a beverage and explaining how to play. They do charge you $15 for a reservation which is stupid but I guess that's how they make money. Playing the actual game is a lot of fun but sometimes the machine doesn't count your points correctly and that can make sore losers (like my brother) really mad when they don't get the points they wanted. Topgolf is a terrific destination for group outings. Their event organizers make setting up events a breeze, communicating promptly via e-mail and telephone and addressing inevitable amendments to invoices with nary a hint of irritation. The facilities are clean and capacious but don't feel alienatingly industrial. The bays are also heated, keeping things cozy, one imagines, even in a brutal Ohio winter. The food is excellent, particularly the pulled pork, a satisfying mélange of sweet and buttery-unctuous which transcends the familiar serviceability of most pub grub to achieve the rare culinary distinction of Truly Memorable (at least for this jaded yelpite). Novice golfers might be a little vexed by the somewhat opaque set-up for the golf games themselves and it might indeed behoove the establishment to place laminated instructions at each bay going forward. Once properly launched, however, the games are loads of fun. And, of course, even if one isn't able to find one's way around the virtual element of Topgolf's raison d'être, simply taking a whack at a bright ball with a bellyful of the aforementioned pulled pork and a fresh Xmas ale or two couldn't be more cathartic. read more

I never write reviews, I want to start off with that. Yet because of my experience, I feel the need. First we plan a party of 12 for my son, which was two bays. We advised Shari Vedder (the event sales associate) that we may need a third bay for the parents to enjoy their time as well but we wanted the children's parents to confirm they were coming, in case there was no need for a third bay. She said there was no problem with getting a third bay and we could confirm with her when we paid for the party, which was due the next day. The same day we confirmed all kids could go so my husband sent her an email stating that we will need that third bay and we made the payment for the two bays, waiting on her to confirm the third bay. . The party was set up for 12-2, the next day Shari called my husband stating that they booked two fundraisers on the day of my sons event and was curious if we could move our time from 12pm to 1030am. Unfortunately due to people coming from out of town and already coordinating this time frame we were unable to move our time. Shari stated that she would make it work although seemed a little discouraged that we couldn't move our time. After hanging up with her we realized that we never addressed the third bay, so again my husband emailed her questioning this. She later emailed us stating "unfortunately we cannot accommodate this yet if you want to change your time from 12 to 1030 we can accommodate it then"?!?!?! There are only 6 kids allowed to be in the bay and they need supervised, yet you won't accommodate for the parents to be present in their own bay, close if not next to them?!?!?! I was devastated seeing as we made all the arrangements and I was embarrassed to tell the parents that were coming that we just have to stand on the sidelines. We felt as if we were being punished for not being able to change our time. That being said we already booked this party, we had to go through with it, yet we were still left in a dilemma. My husband went to the Top Golf location the day of the party at 1015am and talked with the front desk staff to address our issue. The service of these individuals was superb, they went over and beyond what we thought an event coordinator could have done from the beginning. They made arrangements that we were near (one bay over) our children to supervise and to be able to interact. The service was great, the kids had a blast. I want to especially express a huge thank you to Bubbles, the manager who helped move things around to make this a great experience for us. This facility is definitely a five star place, the service has always been attentive and kind. I wish I could give five stars to point this out, yet coordinating with Shari made it that much more stressful to an event which should have been easy. Giving it 4 stars only because we were on the second floor mezzanine by the patio doors and we did not see a server for over an hour, even after talking to both bartenders on the main floor and second floor. However once we got to our bay, Faith was such a great server!!!!! I could go on and on about how attentive and great she was with our group! Probably one of the funnest activities to do in Cleveland with friends. Top golf is built out super nice and each area of seating feels private and someone is always attending to your bay. Drinks are pretty good (recommend the strawberry spiked lemonade and Moscow mule) and food and options pretty decent (keeping in mind that it's main focus is not restaurant). Only thing that was more difficult was making a weekend reservation, but even though there were absolutely no online availabilities, I'd just recommend going 2-3 hrs early putting your name down and waiting for a message to come back and you should be guaranteed game play for the day. As someone who frequents the Topgolf in Orlando Florida this establishment is disgusting. Both managers we dealt with seemed to not know anything about their job or how to handle when a customer has a complaint/question. The main one that was a huge issue and completely ignorant and rude was JOSH, but the other manager was LEXI. remember the name JOSH. For some backstory we booked a $510 package for 3:45 which included two bays for two hours and $250 worth of food costs. Not to mention we likely would have bought merchandise, additional drinks and food, and may have extended our time in the bays if available. In the "special requests" when booked online we specifically put "second or third floor. Third preferred". Upon arrival (at 3:20 may i add) we were told to step away from the counter and wait another five minutes for check in. Then at 3:30 we go to check in and they say ok go to your bays on the first floor. We then spoke up and said "hey in our special requests we asked for the second or third floor" then the manager LEXI went over her radio to see who was available on the second or third floor for us to be serviced by. After a few minutes of waiting she came back up to us and said she needed to run upstairs as no one ever answers her on her radio (not that it's my business but how the hell are your staff ignoring a manager). After she comes back downstairs with her manager, JOSH, and they said they cannot accommodate our requests. We said ok whatever can we just get a refund to which JOSH said he will try as the sales department is out as it is a holiday. First of all, why do you only have half of your staff in office. If you can't have all your staff, niche or not, DO. NOT. OPEN. Well Josh walks away and continues to walk between us and his staff to what appears to be gossip. He never once addresses us In the roughly 10-15 minutes he was "talking to sales" and just walks back and forth past us not even looking at us. When he returns he says they can NOW move us up to the third floor. At this point we don't even want to be in this establishment and say no we just want a refund and to leave cause this is terrible service. He says he can't refund (I don't know how THIS business is run but if your sales person is not in office, give managers approval to refund, or, call the sales guy.). We brought this up actually and he said "no we cannot call him as we have work life balance". I understand and respect that but when we have a specific problem that only ONE PERSON can address, you need to call that person or figure out a way to do it for us. I would also like to mention JOSH rolled his eyes at us multiple times and kept looking at LEXI (who as we were told is beneath JOSH) for guidance and kept asking her what to do. They gave us the sales phone number which we called and immediately went to voicemail. I then flat out asked if we leave and call back tomorrow when sales is open, will we get a refund. JOSH said he cannot tell us if we will or won't so I said once again, if we leave here with no service you cannot tell us we will be refunded our pre-paid deposit to which he said yes he can't tell us if we will get a refund. After being told to wait upon arriving we were advised that it would be impossible for us to be accommodated for anything other than the first floor. We requested a refund to which Josh the manager advised that he is completely unable to refund the $255 already paid and was completely unable to reach anyone capable of refunding us. So after an hour of waiting we were unable to attend our event, which was scheduled to end up be an over $510 sale for them. The staff was dismissive, rude, and completely unhelpful.
