Fun staff we have been here a few times. There are a few hard nosed rules that annoyed me. You can only have 6 people per bay because of COVID ok, no problem so I paid for 2 (rules are rules). We had 8 people 3 adults and 5 children. We split the kiddos up per bay and asked for 2 sets of kids clubs the gal (not our attendant) was very annoyed she said you only allow one per bay...yes I paid for 2 per your rules and on a Wednesday or Thursday morning. I did try and say I understand when you are busy how you may not have as many but it's morning during the week just annoyed. The only other bummer was you don't have angry birds! I had the absolute WORST experience at Top Golf all because of Rachel. Whatever happened to "the customer is always right" or "connecting people with a meaningful experience"? This manager refused to let our groups have bays next to each other and when we consistently asked to be moved because we saw open spaces, her reason was that the group coming in specifically requested bay 218. Even though after speaking with them ourselves, they had never actually been to Top Golf before. First time to Top Golf and we had a large party who was pretty chaotic and the staff was wonderful in accommodating us so we could have two bays next to each other. On top of that, the chef, Nathaniel, personally came out and was extremely understanding about our group's allergies. He worked with us on creating food we could eat and explained all of it to us so we were totally comfortable with what we were eating. Even while many of their staff were out that day, the staff that were in absolutely killed it and our food and drinks came out very quickly. I would come back here again and again. We order food and he ask us if I wanted to add more time to be playing in the golf area and he said that the food won't be done by the time that our time is finished so we paid more time and we got the food and very little time to eat it. Amazing concept and the worst service I have experienced. Arrived and put our name down for a bay being told it was roughly an hour wait to get a bay in the area we wanted. We didn't mind waiting so grabbed a few appetizers at the bar below (after we got a confirmation text saying we were on the waitlist). After and hour and a half we decided to check and see a rough estimate of how much longer. When we approached the counter we were told our name was not on the list and it would in fact be another hour before the bay was available. We go back to the bar to discuss our options and magically after 15 minutes they have the original bay ready to go for us. We walk up and after about 15 minutes of waiting to be greeted we finally get our drink order in. To cut to the chase they messed up one of our drinks (which we sucked up and drank instead of the one we ordered because it wasn't worth the hassle). After our drinks came we ordered food which they also messed up, giving us the wrong order not once but twice meaning all of our meals came at separate times. We push through because overall Topgolf is a fun idea and we are making the most of our time there. Just when we are finishing up we get and pay our bill only to realize they charged us for an additional alcoholic drink we never ordered/received. Our server was decently nice but didn't seem interested in our experience at all which is sad considering they were still the nicest employee we encountered! Would still recommend Topgolf as the idea and plying was a blast but word of advice would be double checking all of their work because the amount of mistakes during our visit was astronomical! read more

It was my first time at Topgolf. Our food runner was really rude and would make rude facial expressions or emotions when we would ask for simple stuff. You could tell she was clearly irritated. I work at a restaurant and our waits get up to 3 hours so I understand how she might feel but it wasn't really that busy. Even when I am busy at work I am still polite to my customers and try to make them feel welcomed and taken care of. It wasn't even that busy and she was just straight up rude. I believe her name was Lily. When my friends asked Lily for stuff like a little bowl for her ice cream she was really rude about it. I've never made my customers feel questioned or like they cant ask for stuff. Just say you'll get it and be polite about it instead of acting rude or lazy. read more

Top Golf is so much fun. I always thought I would hate Golf, and I probably would if I were playing the real thing.. but this is so much different. A great first time experience was had with my family, all of which have never played Golf. The hardest part was learning how to swing lol. After the first swing you get better and better. I think what makes it fun is the technology in which you can see where your ball lands along with the score keeping. I also love that they have different games to choose from. If it werent for that technology it'd be impossible for me to see where my ball landed due to my poor vision. Make sure you take advantage of their FREE reservation promotion and HALF off TUESDAYS!! Highly recommend the Scottsdale location. Always great service and the staff is friendly. As for the Glendale location, not so much. Came for my nephews bday. Party of 8, 6 adults 2 kids. Told it would be about a 35 min wait, ok I understand, especially since we want the 2nd, 3rd floors and it's evening 6:00p. Since no seating space downstairs, came to the lounge upstairs. Open seating everywhere. 3 guys in a red polo just standing around chit chatting, made eye contact a few times but kept talking. Flagged down a guy in black polo, said would be right back. 20 min later still no service. Made our way upstairs to grab some beers. 10 min later, back at the table and still no one has stopped by. Multiple servers walking back and forth with their heads down. Once on the bay area, things got better. Our server was awesome. She was quick and kept checking on things. Me and my family went to Top Golf on February 14th 2020 we paid a $50 reservation fee online we ordered well over $150 and drinks and food within the first 45 minutes of being there that took them 45 minutes to get us into a bay after making the VIP reservation the power went out for over an hour and a half in the management we're not offer us any discounts or our money back for the $50 reservation so we only got to play golf for about 15 to 20 minutes their staff is horrible the venue is very nice but their staff has no customer service experience they're all young kids and do not know what to do read more

*This review is from 9/25/21* My family and I decided to go to Topgolf since we were in AZ for a couple days. We all showed our ID's at the front to be scanned so that we could get a bracelet in order to order drinks at the bar. My mom, boyfriend, cousin, and I sit at the bar and the bartender, Ashley, approaches us in an unfriendly manner. Our bracelets were blatantly seen, but she proceeds to ask us for our ID's. We all thought this was completely unnecessary since the bracelet proves that we all had our ID's checked at the front and are 21+. However, we obliged and gave her our ID's, then she closely inspects each of our ID's and makes a comment about my mom's ID since hers expires in a year. (Again, very unnecessary). After we received our drinks, we noticed how she didn't double check anyone else's ID. We all felt that this was an act of profiling since we were the only POC at the bar that night. Management, please make sure you hire employees that do not profile guests! Topgolf is supposed to be a place where everyone should be treated equally. read more

Decided to look at my phone and see I got a text from top golf asking us to confirm the bay...and at this point it was 2 pm...a half hour before out reservation. The text asks me to say how long I need before my reservation. I typed 30...cuz ya know...it's 30 minutes before our bay. Anyway at 2:30 I received a text saying my bay is getting ready. Well...2:50 comes around and still nothing about a bay assignment. Talked to the rude girl up front and she says oh the bay isn't ready cuz you selected 30 on the other text! Um...odd cuz we have checked in already and I got a text saying they were getting the bay ready. Anyway she finally gave us a bay assignment by 3 pm! Nuts...why RSVP? We get to our bay... and again service is non-existent. It's 106 degrees out and we needed water. No one showed up. My husband had to go in and find someone. Finally the server came out...and of course she's training someone else. We asked for water's and wine. Server then decided to help the other 5 bays next to us before getting our drinks! At this point we have played golf in the heat for 20 minutes! No water! Well...our drinks finally came out...and at that point we were beat...hot and plain exhausted.
