Made a reservation on a Saturday which was great because we walked right in. The server took about 15-20 minutes to come and take our drink orders, he came and brought drinks and took our food orders with no issues, read back our order and we confirmed it. When the food was brought to our table we noticed he had doubled our order of almost everything we ordered, when the bill came our server told us he compensated with taking off the extra time which was only 30$ worth but still charged us for all the double food we DID NOT order!! I visited Topgolf Glendale on Saturday night (3/14) and had one of the worst service experiences I've ever had here. We were in Bay 109 and our server was De' Laurence. Normally, a server greets you shortly after you arrive and goes over safety, but we waited about 10 minutes before he even came by. When he did, he skipped any introduction and just asked what we wanted to order. I've had the Play More Membership for about 5 months and ordered waters and an appetizer, the chicken buffalo dip. The food actually came out quickly, in under 15 minutes, which was great, but our server then confronted the food runner in front of us, questioning whether the order was even ours because it came out so quickly. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially since the runner confirmed it was correct. From there, the service continued to decline. I had to repeatedly remind him to bring waters, plates, and napkins. He eventually brought four plates but only two napkins for a group of four, and even after asking multiple times, the waters didn't arrive until we only had about 15 minutes left of gameplay, after asking four times. By that point, we were already 30 to 40 minutes into our session. With about 12 minutes left on the hour, he came to charge us using the handheld device. After we paid, we chose not to tip because the service was clearly not up to the usual standard we expect at Topgolf. He immediately turned the screen, saw the $0 tip, and loudly said, "I'll make sure you guys never fucking come back here again." He said this aggressively and loud enough that the surrounding bays turned to look at us, which was extremely embarrassing and completely unacceptable conduct, especially given his tone and inappropriate language. He then left the bay area. Shortly after that, a manager came over and told us to leave, even though we still had about 10 minutes of gameplay remaining and unfinished food. The manager also refused to provide the server's name, despite it being clearly visible on his name tag. The manager told us, "My server said that he was disrespected by you guys, so I'm going to have to ask you guys to leave." Even after explaining the situation, he still did not try to accommodate us. To be clear, the gameplay and the food were great as usual, but the service and how this situation was handled completely ruined the experience. As a loyal Play More member who has been coming to this location for years, I'm extremely disappointed. Being verbally disrespected and then asked to leave without any refund or compensation for unused time and unfinished food is unacceptable. Especially after we waited an hour and a half to get a bay. Which we happily waited due to previous amazing customer service from other servers. I hope management takes this seriously, because this is not the level of service I've come to expect from Topgolf. De' Laurence needs more than just a conversation with management--this was extremely unprofessional and very disappointing. His demeanor and behavior are not appropriate for a customer service role. read more

Took my three nephews to topgolf in Glendale this morning. Tried to get a reservation before arrival, but the earliest reservation was an hour and a half out. The people at the front desk were very nice and accommodating, but I do not understand why they have walk in bays available but no reservations available. If you make a reservation, it's cheaper than a walk-in, I'm not sure? The bay that they put us in, was in a corner, very noisy fans and music. We could hardly hear one another speak. The facilities were rundown, and the bathroom stunk of urine. I have enjoyed going to this location with family that comes onto town. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication and proper service. We were then falsely accused of being intoxicated--despite several members of our group not drinking--and were asked to leave. As first-time guests, this was incredibly disappointing. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, management escalated the situation by calling security to remove us. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. First off the administration for this entire chain totally sucks. I wanted to get a reservation way in advance, but they won't let you make a reservation more than one week in advance. For literally any other business, you can just call and make a reservation weeks in advance. The people on the phone refused to service me at all. Additionally, the formatting for inputting a gift card online is incorrect and it was a headache putting it in so they really should fix that. If there's one thing really cool about this place is that you can save money by going here during off peak hours. For instance, I saved my group $56 by reserving in the morning. Note that each bay can hold 6 players and 2 extra observers. When I got there, I went to the front desk to check in but there was 7 people standing around and they refused. They said the only way for me to "check in" was to respond to the automated texts. Yet another example of how inane their systems are. Additionally, some of my friends were running late and they refused to let us start our 2 hour time slot when everyone would arrive; our time started at my reservation spot. Not only that, but we couldn't even go to a bay of our choosing despite there being 3 whole floors. This place has no flexibility and no ability to adapt to customers. While there, I ordered a Smokehouse BBQ burger which comes with a side. This cost $15 and the whole meal was average. I actually wanted nachos but thought it was extremely lame that the nachos is just only 6 chips. It was nice that different servers would come and check on us in awhile. The overall gameplay and ambience was quite clean, relaxed, and spacious. There are different game modes and we only had time to really play 1.5 of them. As a neophyte to this establishment, it cost me $5 just to enter my name into their game system. What this means is that if you're there to just have fun, you can just share a profile with a friend to avoid the $5 fees. Overall, it was a neat golfing experience since it's best described as bowling but with golf. However, there's still plenty of ways for this chain to improve. So I'm really not sure how to rate this experience. We were a big party, booked two bays for two hours. Only six people ended up golfing, with six opting out. One, it was extremely hot even though they had large oscillating fans with misters. Two it's really not affordable, actually quite expensive for what it is. Three even though the balls were going in the holes it didn't always register the score. If you've never golfed before they charge new golfers $5 in addition to renting the bay. Why? So there was some positives. Our service was good. Waiter personable and was at the table whenever we needed something, never having to wait. The food was average but they have a good selection, a little something for everyone and it came nicely presented. And was actually not expensive for a venue like Top Golf. Inside bar area is great. Massive tv's that they had several MLB games on. Bathrooms clean. Even the parking lot security guard seemed he was happy, even walking outside in the middle of an AZ summer Would I return. We're visiting the area for the weekend and stumbled across Top Golf a few minutes from the house. We decided to book a reservation t9 give it a try. There were some initial hiccups with the reservation, but everything was sorted out. Once we got our stall, we had the pleasure of being served by Lily. Her service and attitude was impeccable. It was relatively busy when we first got there, but that didn't stop her from providing top notch service. It's nice being able to travel across state lines and be treated with such kindness and attentiveness. Next time we're in AZ, we would most definitely swing by! Went to this Topgolf for my friend's 21st birthday, expecting a night worth remembering. Instead, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Our server, Abi, kicked things off with foul language, attitude, and service so bad it almost felt intentional. The Topgolf tracer never worked the entire night, and despite multiple failed attempts by the manager to fix it, Abi still tried to force us to pay for the round. When we asked to speak with a manager, she flat-out said, "I don't care." It got worse. Once the manager finally came over, Abi decided to lie to their face and accuse us of threatening her tip--completely made up and a pathetic excuse to cover her own incompetence. At that point, it was clear she wasn't just bad at her job; she was actively trying to ruin the night. Food is good we had steak and chicken fajitas on the menu with the cilantro lime rice refried beans and a host of compliments to include salsa mild it was delicious guacamole which was also very good crémé and sour cream and lastly some cheese queso!! My wife took me here on my birthday and we all had a great family time. There was a wait for upper bays and we decided to wait. We were given an estimate for 45 minutes but we received a confirmation message for the bay being ready in 30 minutes. During the wait, you can enjoy yourself at the lobby's restaurant. There was someone to assist at the bay. Our order took time to come and hence to compensate the server gave us 15 minutes extra time of play along with a free cocktail. My wife secretly told them about my birthday and they literally arranged a grand wish with 6-7 associates from the staff member along with an HBD board and a complementary ice cream. Overall it was a great experience and birthday celebration. I would recommend this business. We went on Friday evening and hence it was the most expensive time to rent a bay but they run deals all the time and it is economical during the weekday and especially during day time. read more

Imagine if you could import the fun of a bowling alley onto a driving range by adding simple scoring games like you might find in miniature golf...then you would have top golf. My son and I visited here recently while on a weekend trip to Phoenix. We played for an hour while enjoying something to eat. We had a great time! Here are a few things to know if you want to check this place out... Make a reservation in advance on their website. We tried to get a walk up reservation but they told us they were already fully booked and were not accepting any more reservations that day. One of the staff suggested I check their website for the next available time slot. I asked if they could help me do that in the store but they said no you have to do it on your own. I was able to login on my phone and was surprised to find that there were still reservations available for later in the evening on that same day. Apparently they get busy so try to reserve early. As far as our experience when we arrived everything was pretty easy. I would warn you that this is not the least expensive form of family entertainment. For one hour of gameplay it cost us $50. Not including the cost of the food which was not super expensive but it definitely wasn't cheap. I think after everything was said and done I ended up spending $95 on both our food and our one hour gameplay. Nonetheless it was a fantastic experience and well worth our time and money. Although I probably couldn't afford to do it every weekend especially if I brought my whole family of four. It is worth mentioning that the food that we had was good. My son had a hamburger with fries and a Coke and I enjoyed some nachos and a mango iced tea. While I myself I'm not into drinking alcohol they do have alcoholic beverages available as well as non-alcoholic beverages for teetotalers like me.
