We had a lot of fun here. Was our first time, so wasn't sure what to expect. Even if you don't play golf - this is a fun outing for friends, family, work, parties etc. I do play golf, but came here with my teenager, who does not. We both had a lot of fun. I brought my golf bag with me. I won't do that next time. They provide a nice selection of clubs. I'd recommend you bring in your 2 or 3 favorite clubs and use theirs if you want to try others. They also can accommodate left and right handed players, as well as kids (for club selection and length). There are several types of "games" you can play hitting balls out into the field. It's nicely lit up too. You can also stay in a practice type mode, where you can just smack balls out there and aim for whatever you wish. The bays are spacious with tables that sit higher up. You pay for the amount of "time" you are there. We were noobs, so ended up adding time and stayed over 2 hours. We definitely didn't go the budget route this first time, but you can go for an hour or 90 minutes also. There is table service for drinks and food and they have a lot of options to choose from. We tried several food items and I had sangria, which was really good. You become a member when you go (it's like $5). Once you're a member you get special offers for future visits. They also send you a birthday coupon. We'll definitely go again. read more

do not plan a party here! Highly disappointing. We planned a party weeks in advance and requested being on the second floor or higher. They moved us to the ground floor on the day of the party with no notice, which was a huge problem. even though bays were available higher up, staff was unwilling to put us back where we were supposed to be. experience was very upsetting. I would not recommend, especially for the amount of money paid to be treated like that. updated : you will see a comment below asking me to send a message. But this profile doesn't accept messages and I had already sent a message to the business on Yelp, and via email. read more

I love Too Golf! It's my favorite sort of social outing because you can have food, drinks, and some sort of activity. I've been on my own with friends many times and always have a positive experience. The staff are so kind and attentive, I truly love being there! I was also lucky enough to attend as a group for a staff trip I planned. The events team was so kind and helpful during the planning process, leading up to the day, and of course during the event. Would highly recommend group events through the organization read more

Super kind and attentive waiter who explained how to play for first timers! He came back to check on us frequently and was very patient even though we had a slightly larger party. He was very accommodating and made special birthday arrangements for my friend's birthday celebration and even sang! The bay felt clean and organized which was also important to our group. Be sure to get the Mac and cheese bites, they are amazing! Skip the pepperoni flatbreads as it was underwhelmingly thin and didn't have much cheese. (Frozen pizza was better than the flatbread imo) Overall a great relaxing place to hang out with friends! The price isn't bad either if you go earlier in the afternoon and split it amongst a group. I believe it was $37 and hour for a 12pm Sunday slot. read more

After hearing about Topgolf from so many people, I finally convinced my sister to go with me! This new location is in Germantown. We came on a Saturday around 12pm. We assumed all of the bay's would be taken but to our surprise we were able to get seated right away. It did seem to get very busy right after we got there. They seemed to have a few too many employees working in my opinion and yet somehow I had to locate someone to ask if our server would be coming by anytime soon as it had been about 20 minutes since we had been seated. The young man apologized and helped us out. We then got another girl as our server and she was pretty attentive. We got chips as our appetizer and these were actually really good lol. Hot & fresh. The fries were good but the burger didn't really have much seasoning. I ordered mine medium well whereas my sister ordered hers well done. The server said she wasn't sure which one was which and both had a "medium-well" stick in them. It was fine because both were definitely well done. The golfing aspect was so much fun! At first I thought I was killing but soon after I realized I'm no Tiger Woods haha. Definitely takes a lot more effort than I realized but still had so much fun! I will definitely be coming back. read more

Great service, great food, great time for a COVID friendly activity! I am by no means a golfer, but this is a solid date or outing with friends and family. It is even suitable for the cold with heating lamp provisions. Didn't know food would be good munchies, but was really impressed! Tots (5/5) - golden crunch fresh with a good sauce Nachos (4/5) - presentation was really nice but flavor and texture were a little off. The nachos were overpowered by the beans Fried mac n cheese bites - a must have! The tomato sauce and ranch they were served with were a perfect compliment! Fried cubes of glory read more

Where to start... terrible customer service. I called ahead to ask about dairy-free options and after getting transferred three times I can only assume I ended up speaking with the kitchen manager. However, she told me they only had pretzels without dip and salad without dressing to offer. Later, I noticed they had hummus and veggies that should be dairy free so not sure why she didn't mention that. Every time we asked a question (e.g. can we have a high chair, straws, what are beers on draft, etc) to a server or bus girl, the answer was "I don't know" as if they don't work there. We were never brought utensils or plates with all the food we ordered. Asked for things that never arrived, etc. The biggest disappointment of all was that we ordered food and it arrived just as our bay reservation was ending. We were then quickly harassed by our server and then a "team lead" about needing to extend or get moved to the bar. First of all, we were never informed of this as we should have been when ordering food. Secondly, a few of our party was in the bathroom so we had to repeatedly ask for them to hold their horses for a few min so we could have a chance to discuss and decide. Thirdly, there were plenty of open bays and no one waiting so it made no sense for them to be so impatient and rude. Mind you we have a baby and very pregnant person in our party so shuffling around unnecessarily is very inconvenient. Finally they gave us a 15 min "curtesy extension" (did not include playtime) while we decide but they still bugged us several times during these minutes. It was a very sour way to end our golfing experience. Otherwise, the venue is great and food is decent for bar food. Our experience in the past has always been pretty average but this day was an embarrassment for them. Update: Really? They ask us to DM them knowing full well it's not possible on Yelp. I'm pretty sure they know this considering they have not received any DMs from complaining customers they've commented on. Shameful way to dodge accountability. read more

After months of being cooped up inside a group of friends decided to go out one Sunday afternoon. We made a great choice by going to Topgolf! The various games were both challenging and a lot of fun! The food was good and the team here is very helpful and professional! This location installed clear plastic partitions between each bay to help with social distancing. Every bay is also cleaned and sanitized before the next group is able to play. Huge plus because while wanted to have fun, we definitely weren't trying to catch the 'Rona! We all agreed to do this again before it gets too cold outside. However, even the cold shouldn't be a problem because each bay has strong radiant heaters installed overhead. We had a lot of fun and didn't spend a ton of money in the process so this was a win-win! We'll definitely be back! read more

Wow!!! Just wow!!! This location is new and it's just such an awesome setup in Germantown. The staff greet you when you come in and there are so many people that welcome you and there to help guide you to where you need to go. I was invited to a kids birthday party and the waitress Ariana was very nice and helpful. She's catered to our party of 6 kids and 7 adults and she did such a good job from helping out with the kids and us! Excellent customer service!!!! The food was pretty good. I got the Turkey Avocado wrap (healthy option) so of course it was bland haha! And the kids meals were good! I honestly would not recommend the jr.cheeseburger because it's literally one mini slider and fries for $7 lol get the chicken bites!! More food for the kids haha. My husband said the wings were good! And my friends enjoyed the drannnnnks lol the only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because our game machine kept freezing and glitching a throughout the game but we did not want to give our waitress a hard time. The price to host a party here is like $500 if you are paying for food and games lol That's just a heads up! But we had a great time. You need a mask to get in so dont forget it!!! I will be coming again! read more

I'm not a golfer- I never understood how driving ranges were fun. But, a friend of mine wanted to celebrate his birthday there, so off I went, and I had an amazing time! The place is cool- it's like someone sliced a wall off of a building. There's a ton of "rooms" and each group gets their own, complete with clubs. The system is kind of like a bowling alley- enter your name, and it tracks points you get. We ordered each kind of wing and the Mac and cheese bites, and the guacamole and chips. I highly recommend the wings and the Mac and cheese; I wouldn't get the guacamole again. It tasted just okay, and there were so many chips compared to the amount of guacamole. The drinks- the mai tai was okay, you could taste the bottom shelf triple sec. The spiked strawberry lemonade was decent, but the best drink I had was a simple jack and coke (you could taste the alc in that). Shout out to our awesome server, Alexx (double X)! She did a great job with our 12 person party. read more

Games and golfing were fun but service was bad and food was horrible. Do not recommend.

How fun!!! We visited for my birthday and it was my first time and I am not a golfer but I had so much fun! Even if you haven't golfed before, as long as you have one friend to teach you the basics I think you would have a blast. I wasn't expecting much for the food but it was actually very good! The steak tacos were delicious, the meat was cooked well and soft, and overall was flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich was juicy and crunchy, and we chose to have tater tots as a side which were crunchy and yummy. I didn't have the burger but I heard it was good as well. There were heaters at each table which kept us adequately warm, and each table was sectioned off so I felt safe. Definitely a fun activity to do in the midst of a pandemic! read more

The golf itself was a lot of fun. Very clean and not too expensive. Would definitely go back for the game itself. The service was not great though. Asked for waters for the table which we had to remind the waiter about when he came back to take our order. Ordered two pitchers of beer and some food. It took at least 30 minutes for the beer to come after reminding our waiter twice. The food was good but definitely a smaller portion than expected. Waiter only checked in on us once. Asked us if he could get us anything else, just to follow it up by saying, actually our kitchen and bar are closed now so I'll just bring you the check. My tip would be definitely go for the golf but make sure you eat before or have plans to eat after. The frustration of that dining experience just detracted from the fun golf experience. read more

Finally! We have a Top golf in Maryland! Due to Covid, I wasn't able to check out this place sooner but I finally got to go a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my cousins birthday. Pluses: *you can call/ go online to reserve a bay/ bays which means no wait! *all clubs (of many different sizes and styles) and golf balls are available at your bay. Golf clubs for lefty's are available upon request *the whole idea/game of top golf is reeeeeally fun and Im not one to normally like "sporty" things (haha) *your bay has sofas/ seating area and a table so you can sit back and relax while hanging with your friends/ waiting your turn *scores are displayed and points are automatically calculated for you *you have a waiter/ waitress assigned to your bay to bring you drinks or food *the food is DELISH and the drinks are great! Deltas: *game is WAYYYY overpriced for what it is. (For example: on a Friday, starting at 5:30, we had to pay $50 / hour to play and a game can easily last 1 hour) Tip: Sunday's / during the week tends to be cheaper (of course) *similarly, food and drinks are WAYYYY overpriced read more

This place is amazing I went for the first time with a few of my friends and we had a few drinks and some bar food. I really gotta say this place is absolutely stunning. All of the employees are nice and respectful, they give great ideas. When you are walking around everyone speaks to you and ask if you need help and just are flat out great. Top Golf Germantown is amazing, but honestly with the Top Golf formula you really cannot go wrong. Top Golf is a fun, endorphins producing activity for any age group. True golfers like my dad and his friends come here to hone in their skills, my friends and I come here to have a boozy bar food infused night out, and then you could even come here in business casual for a corporate event. The Germantown location is huge and boasts 3 large levels. I went last night and we stayed on the first level which was ideal because my friends and I like to keep the drinks flowing and the food coming so the closer in proximity to the bar and kitchen the better. The staff was nice, and they were fun as me and one of my close childhood friends joined in their Wobble line and had a blast. At the end of the night we all got separate checks, and they charged my card for two of the checks instead of just mine and they had a hard time fixing it. But in the end they were pleasant to work with through the process and the experience was so good that this faux pas does not warrant knocking them down a star. read more

(4) ~ very fun time for everyone, including Men; Women; Kids; Beginners; etc.

3.5 stars: Fun time! It was pretty crowded when I went on a Friday night, a little too much for comfort. It would be better if parties were spaced out every other bay. I think there was also an error with the lighting system the day I was there though, because all of the holes and the range went dark for 15-ish minutes. Food was surprisingly good for a sports bar. We got the chicken sandwiches, buffalo dip, and fried Mac and cheese balls (very salty, but would've gone well with a beer). Service was generally pleasant but unhelpful when registrations from another location didn't transfer to here. read more

I am not a golfer and don't have young children, but I had a fantastic time at my neighbor's 11th birthday party at Top Golf! The parking is tight but plentiful and the location is easy to get to right off of 270. As we walked to the entrance It was interesting to see that there were a lot of children coming and going and also serious golfers carrying their golf bags and clubs. Entering the building it seems overwhelming but there is plenty of staff and always someone to help guide you through. There is a large lobby, the bar and golf bays on the entrance level. There were stairs going up which we never investigated. It may be where the private meeting rooms are? The steps going downstairs led to another set of golf bays, which is were our party turned out to be. We were a little early for our reservation so it was suggested we could wait in the dining/bar area. Looking at the drink menu I was so tempted. The drinks looked incredible, but I didn't think it was a good idea to arrive at a child's birthday party smelling like alcohol. Later I saw someone with a Bloody Mary and it was generous and looked delicious. Oh well, another day. After a short wait we were led downstairs to our space. We were set up for 12 guests at two tables. Our "hostess", Ariana, explained to us how to set up our score board, navigate the golf ball station, the safety rules, and took our drink orders. Included in our package were unlimited sodas and lemonade and a children's menu lunch. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! Granted because it was geared for children it was not the healthiest, but so worth a diet splurge. We each got a tin bowl with 2 chicken tenders, a small hamburger, a big pile of tater tots, and a cup of grapes. The chicken and tater tots were delicious, crispy and not at all greasy. Ariana was fantastic and checked on us regularly. Isaiah got our drinks to us quickly. We put the girls at one table and the adults took the other, so we could monitor them closely, but still have some good conversation and let them have their fun. When our party was winding down there were a lot of leftovers. I asked for "doggy bags" and they brought paper boxes and a bag so we wouldn't let a lot of food go to waste. The golf bays are separated by large columns which provide plenty of privacy and on our chilly March day the overhead heaters were turned on and kept us quite comfortable. I've been to a number of children's birthday parties and this venue was at the top of the list. It was well organized, but not so regimented that it felt like a forced march. I see on their website that Top Golf has a number of packages besides Birthday Parties, like Team Building, Field Trips, Fund Raisers, or just a casual meet up with friends. The venue was clean, the staff all friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was a lot of fun! read more

Over the past few months during the COVID-19 pandemic, I have felt pretty safe here. They have many measurements in place that I feel are consistent with the guidelines that are set by the CDC and in ways, I feel like they have gone above those recommendations or regulations so that guests feel more comfortable. Pro: I do appreciate the fact that they have a team delivering food and drinks separately from the bay attendant. Con: The one thing that I was not so excited about is that the employees may not exchange gloves as frequently as I had hoped. For example, they might clean up one table but then you request a condiment and they may not have switched gloves. Again, I am unsure if this is actually the case. Pro: They do also clean the bay dividers and the golf clubs in between each group. Depending on the staff member, they each do it different but I prefer when they have laid all of the clubs out on the table, sprayed, and wiped each individually to assure none are missed. Con: We have experienced longer wait times that are somewhat confusing. We have been told a few times that our bay was basically ready but then end up waiting 30+ minutes and have to check in with the front desk multiple times due to a system error/glitch. Overall, I prefer this location over the Loudon County location. I feel that they take hygiene more seriously and have helped to make the community feel safe while still trying to have fun during this trying time. read more

I went last night with my son and my best friend and his son. This was our 1st and most likely our last experience with Top Golf. When I called it was recommended that I reserve a bay. So I did and subsequently charged a "booking fee". Seriously who charges to make a reservation when I'm going to be charged $63/per hour? And I have to reserve the bay for 2 hours minimum! Then I have to pay a % up front to hold the reservation. Then I have to pay a membership fee for every new player in the group. Needless to say this place is a money pit. Anyway enough about me being cheap. I was told to get there 15 mins prior to my reservation time. Our time was from 8:15-10:15. When we arrived at 7:55 we were told that our bay would be ready 15 minutes before our reserved time as "a bonus gift". They told us to wait in the bar area and I would receive a text message. While waiting in the bar area and watching a football game a staff member told us we needed to order something if we were going to be standing in the bar area. So we were basically asked to leave. Finally we were called to our bay at 8:15....what happened to our "bonus 15 min gift"? Moving forward we were told there would be someone to help us with setting up the system ....no one to be found. So having a masters degree I figured I could do this on my own....bad assumption. So I called the nearest staff member. She politely told me it was not her area and that she would get my server. We waited for almost 10 mins and "Anthony" appeared. He gave us a quick overview and then left us for another customer. We completed the signing in process and weren't sure which game or how to play. Where was Anthony when we needed him. Needless to say we started playing around 8:35...35 mins since our "bonus 15 mins" started and we basically had to figure out how to play on our own. I realize I'm probably the only one standing on a soapbox complaining...however being on a school teaching salary and driving an hour and 20 mins to pay this kind of $$ it's not worth it to me. Not really sure what I'm more upset at....overall not a warm and fuzzy experience or that I'm just not a high roller and need to stay within my means. Either way I feel much better venting my frustrations. Happy Holidays!! read more

I've been golfing four times prior to coming to the newer Germantown location. Twice on a course, once at a driving range and once to the old Topgolf Alexandria location. I can honestly say the only time I actually enjoyed it was at Topgolf. No frustration at losing a ball in the woods or in the pond. No annoying golfer behind you judging every stroke. Topgolf is just plain fun, especially with a good group of friends. The staff is super welcoming, and attentive throughout. The process to get started is simple, and there are lots of options for fun games to play. The food was quite good too- I loved the sesame wings, the steak nachos, and even the grilled chicken sandwich was quite good. The cinnamon balls for dessert were dangerously addictive, especially with the injectables. My wife appreciated the birthday song as well! They have also taken pretty good COVID measures- placing plastic screening between each booth, limiting the number of people in each booth, and sanitizing between groups. All the staff were wearing masks, and golfers were pretty good about wearing masks when not playing. read more

We don't know much about golf but had been meaning to try this place for some time. Who knows why we picked the hottest afternoon to visit. We went on a Saturday afternoon with no wait. Our bay was on the bottom floor. It was so hot that we didn't eat outside instead we just kept drinking plenty of fluids. We decided to eat at the tables/bar area on the second floor, which was much cooler almost cold. We just ordered sandwiches and tater tots. The food was hot and delicious. We would definitely return. read more

My husband made a reservation for us on a Tuesday night for date night and I was impressed! There are many bay areas and luckily we got a bay at the top. It was pretty crowded but we waited no longer than 5 minutes for them to take us to our bay. Once there, our server was super friendly and explained how every thing works. Then he leaves us to do or own thing unless we needed food or drinks. Food and drinks both came pretty quick and is a little pricey for the amount they give but it's good. If you are planning on coming here, I recommend making a reservation so you don't have to wait long for a bay. Also, if you come on Tuesdays- it's half off play (6 people max/bay)! read more

Had an awesome time here. It was huge first of all! 3 floors of fun. This was my first time and I will definitely be back. I was with a small group seated on second level and it was heated perfectly. Food was good. I had the pretzel bites and shrimp corn tacos. I asked if I could sub and get flour tortillas but they said no. The tacos were still pretty tasty. They were a little messy but did their job lol. And pretzel bites came with a type of beer cheese sauce and a horseradish sauce. The beer cheese was my favorite. I didn't get any alcohol but they had some yummy options on the menu. Our server was cool and funny. I don't remember her name but she had dark hair and piercings. She was super friendly and courteous. Music was along the lines of pop. I think I heard a little beyonce when we got there but it switched to pop after that. I will be coming back read more

We have been to Top Golf before but this is our first time coming to this location. We came in a Saturday Morning in the winter but it was still busy. The parking lot it still unfinished and there are small mounds of asphalt in different parking spots. Also we noticed that the spaces are quite small. Since I already had an account it only took maybe a minute to check in and get a bay. We actually thought that the heaters in the bay were more than they were. Granted it was windy on Saturday but we noticed it was pretty warm on the couch and then right in front of the mat. We thought the pricing was pretty reasonable. The bay before noon is $27 and the food was about $9 per item. After ordering the food came pretty quickly. We had the French toast and the breakfast sandwich. Both were good and came hot even though it was about 35 degrees outside. One thing to note is that when getting the ball there is a small green light that shows If the ball dispenser caught the swing of the club. Also there is a target past the white which is the black that is against the back part of the net. It's about 205 yards to that target from what I saw. Overall we always enjoy coming to top golf and will be back soon! read more

My friends and I went to this Topgolf location on a Tuesday night for half off golf! Tuesday nights are $25/hour for max of 6 players per bay. Highly recommend reserving a bay on their app about a week in advance! The ambience was nice - it was lively, but not too crazy. The service was pretty good too; I wouldn't say the best serving experience I've ever had, but definitely honestly nothing to complain about! The system also kept miscounting the balls played throughout both games, but again nothing to complain about. I definitely appreciated the ceiling heaters and our ability to turn it on/off ourselves. The Brisket Grilled Cheese was really good. I just wish it was more flavorful; adding caramelized onions would've been a game changer. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was also really good! It reminded me of a Shake Shack chicken burger, but juicier. The Smokehouse Burger was also really good and my friend recommended it! Great place to relax and just have fun. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good time. Great Atmosphere.

Hubby and I had a great day date here! It was super fun because we are both competitive. My only suggestion is be prepared to spend about $100. It was just the two of us and we managed to spend that in about an hour. The game itself was $27. Two membership fees at $5 a piece. Plus food and drinks. I live down the street from this place and have noticed It gets packed there really quick and night. So if you wanna enjoy your time without the crowd go during the day. Topgolf Germantown is always fun and on point! I have been here a couple of times and enjoy the venue! I always use the app to reserve a bay! The app allows you to reserve only 7 days out, so if you are planning to go there for an event, please be mindful! However that process is soo simple! Once you arrive for your reservation, you are given a bay assignment and you're greeted by a "red shirt" manager. This person helps to set up your game play. I enjoy coming here because it's a great activity for my tween-aged daughter and at this point, she finds this still fun! The bays are always clean and sanitized in between guests and the staff is soo friendly and inviting! They have physical menus but also have QR code's on the table to help you order! I had the Buffalo wings and french fries as a snack. Both were very good! I have been on the 200 level as well as the 300 level! I prefer the bottom level! Either way, it's a fun time with great customer service! Ps, gameplay is half priced on Tuesdays!! read more

This was my second time coming here and it's a lot of fun. But... the food isn't great and the service is painfully slow. I waited for about 15 minutes for a server when I finally lost my patience I finally ended up having to flag down one of the servers so that we could place an order. The food? I'm not even sure how to describe it but it's subpar (excuse the pun). I remember trying the dessert and was not impressed. This time around I ordered the buffalo chicken dip. It was ok but very dry. My son's burger was not good either. They do have a good selection of beers which is helpful when playing anything golf related. read more

I have mixed reviews about this one because I came during covid when the restrictions were at an all time high so the one waiter was being difficult about the amount of people in our party.
