Went there on a Fri at 7:30pm, and it was fantastic. I've played golf at a lot of private clubs in U.S. and the service and hospitality we received at Top Golf was on par (excuse the pun) with them. From the moment we stepped into the building to the time we left the staff here was awesome. Food was good, we got some burgers and they were good. My only complaint is its scoring and overall format for gaming. This is not a place to go and take the scoring seriously. I saw a lot of shanks and worm burners end up actually earning points. I also some fantastic shots take hard bounces and not earn any points. I would recommend this place to others, lots of fun especially if your a golfer. read more

Today was my first time to TopGolf. I am an avid golfer and what a great experience. I was in heaven. I didn't want to leave. I got to work with the PGA Pro Bryson for an hour. Great guy and he really helped my forward press on my swing. After hitting about 150 balls I came inside and had lunch. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the turkey wrap and it was great. Overall a great experience and when I get back to Tampa, I will be taking my entire family to the TopGolf in Brandon. Great job TopGolf. Top Golf has the ability to be a top notch establishment. This was my 3rd visit with my family. First impressions count. We had forgotten our member card and had to join the line to get new ones. The kid handling this messed it up in multiple ways. We went to our assigned bay and the mess up continued. Pretty much a repeat of our first visit a few months ago. Then the computer messed up and we had to be completely moved. (I give that the computer can mess up). The food server Sharnell was good and attentive. We did have both our sons birthday party here and it was a good experience. I think management should be training these kids properly. read more

We did a team-building event here with 7 people after work. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was good but not great. Buffalo Wings were great, while the nachos were tiny and unimpressive. There are a variety of golf games to play which is good..I am not a golfer, but I had fun and was able to score a decent amount of points on the closer-in holes. The food is great (when they don't bring it out cold). I enjoyed the tater tots and chicken and waffles. They have small portions so don't go there if your starving. My buddies and I went to Top Golf in Schaumburg, Illinois. Was very fun, but the wait was VERY long, about two hours, but it was a Tuesday night half priced (understandable). When we finally got to our bay, we weren't approached by a waiter for at least 45 min-1 hour. When they finally came, we were able to order drinks, but when we tried putting an order for food, they said the kitchen was closed. We did not have a waiter approach us from the time we got to our bay to the time the waiter actually came. 3 stars just because nobody approached us at our bay until the last moment. read more

**Update** 6/6/18 A day or two after Gina (Business Manager for TopGolf) generically responded to my 1-star review below, I received a direct message from her asking me to provide my phone number so she can call me to get more details regarding our situation so TopGolf can "make things right". I replied to her email with my number as requested. As expected, I have not received a call from her. It's been 7 days since I sent my reply and I won't be holding my breath that I'll receive a call at this point. Just thought I'd update my review so everyone knows that you're pretty much guaranteed to be blown off from TopGolf if/when you leave a negative review. Why bother reaching out if you have no intention of following through? So much for making things right. I guess subpar customer service starts all the way at the top with this company... We had high hopes for our first time experience at TopGolf. We were a party of 6 that came in on a Saturday evening. We waited about 15 minutes to be called back to our bay and once there, we were greeted by our server, Bonnie. We ordered a boatload of food, a bottle of wine (uncorked when it was delivered to the table), a round of water, and paid to play a little over 2 hours of golf. Things were enjoyable up until the last 30 minutes when different employees began to come by (while we were still eating, drinking, & golfing) to ask if we were planning to buy more golf time or if we would be leaving after the current golf time was over. We hadn't planned to stay longer, so while we finished our last round of golf (about 15 minutes worth of a round), we asked for our wine to be recorked & sealed in a bag, asked for refills on water, and asked for our check. The check was brought immediately, but the unfinished wine bottle remained on the table and our water went unfilled. By this time, a girl who I'm assuming was the manager, came by the table and informed us that there were others waiting for our table and that we would need to leave. We informed her that we still needed our unfinished wine bottle to be recorked so we could take it home and that we wanted water refills. She acknowledged the request but walked away. Afterwards, our server Bonnie came by, grabbed our wine bottle, said she would find a cork at the bar to recork it, and said she'd return with it sealed in a bag to take home. At that point, I reminded her we were still waiting on water refills and she acknowledged that the refills would be out momentarily. While she was gone, another employee came to our bay and asked us to get up and move to another area of the restaurant since the other party was already standing at our bay waiting to sit down. I told him we were waiting for our wine bottle to be recorked, that we were also waiting on refills, and that we would get up to leave as soon as our service was complete. He suggested I speak to the manager right as she appeared again at our table. She asked us to get up since the other party was standing there waiting. At this time, Bonnie had returned with our wine but without our water refills as promised. She apologized that the water was not delivered and said she would return with it. I informed the manager that we had just paid over $260 (not including a tip) and I was appalled at being asked to get up when our service was incomplete. She apologized for the water not being delivered and for the extra time it took for the wine bottle to be corked and informed me that the drink runners must have forgotten our waters due to them being "very busy". By this time, Bonnie had returned with our water and we gulped it down as the other party and other employees stood around our bay watching and waiting for us to get up. I was really enjoying our time here before this incident occurred and I think TopGolf is a great concept, but I think hiring competent employees and management would benefit them a lot more than rushing people through the experience just to get more people through the door. I wouldn't have even bothered writing this review had the manager come by to apologize and if she had attempted to make things right instead of excusing their faults with, "we're just very busy". As a business, being busy is a very good "problem" to have. Not having exemplary customer service when things come off script is the problem you DON'T want to have. Unfortunately, TopGolf, at least during our first and only experience, knows this particular problem all to well! read more

My husband has been asking me to go here for the longest. I was always reluctant because we have two small children (9mo an 4yr old ) and didn't think this place would be kid appropriate but yesterday went anyways. Probably not the best idea since it was a holiday weekend (Memorial Day weekend) and we went in the evening. The wait to golf was 2hs + so we decided to eat while we waited. We found a booth but it was dirty someone came by to clean it with a wet rag after my husband waved them down. I wish after they "clean" the table for new guests with a wet rag that they would also pass a dry one over it and provide new clean rolls ups (utensils) instead we got a wet table with dirty crumbs on the cushions which we had to wipe off with our hands, someone's napkin and 1 left over roll up from the previous guests. We ordered 1 kids hot dog, 1 beer queso with chips, 1 chicken and waffle sliders, 1 golf bag drink, 2 waters. The waitress was nice but not exactly attentive (she was likely overwhelm with trying to service all her tables) She asked us if we were ready to order but never asked if we had been there before, never made any meal suggestions or drink suggestions (which likely would've gotten her more sales since my husband typically falls for whatever he is offered when we are out eating.) Anyhow, the bar drink was great I was really impressed since my expectations for alcoholic beverages at chain restaurants is always low but at $16 dollars for 1 drink I'm glad it didn't disappoint. The meals however took excessively long for the type of food we ordered. My sons hot dogs came out first, it was a good portion for him and both the hot dogs and fries were good (the ketchup on the table was empty). After a while longer we wondered if maybe she just forgot to put the rest of the stuff in. So my husband quickly asked her "hey the rest of the stuff is coming too right" as she flew by us to tend to other guests. She never came by to reassure us the food was coming, never said hey the kitchen is a little weeded bc of the holiday I really apologize for the delay your food should be coming out shortly- you know the typical stuff waiters say in situations like ours- we got nothing, we were just left invisible to wait. The food finally comes out and she comes by and says hey we are really sorry it took so long to get this out, we will be comping these last two items off your check. Okay now, that was nice. The acknowledgment and consideration definitely turned the experience around at that moment. A gentleman in a red shirt passed by and noted we had received our food and said "oh you guys got it, good, i ordered the dishes again because it was taking a while and I wasn't sure what happed." So clearly they knew it was an unreasonable wait for some queso and waffle sliders (it's not like we ordered a well done steak). We continued to make the best of it however the food was disappointing the chicken in the chicken and waffle was so hard it was difficult to cut through it. The waffle was chewy and hard at the same time it was weird but it was not enjoyable. Definitely felt like the dish had died under a warming light even though we waited a significant amount of time for it. The queso was really good but the bulk of our chips were broken into tiny pieces like it was the last of the bag and that was annoying because it made the delicious queso hard to enjoy as well. I am assuming the waitress was cut for the night because we couldn't find her anywhere to request our check so my husband got up and asked the guy in the red shirt for our check. When it arrived no items were comped, typically I would just pay and go but my husband was disappointed with the experience so he brought it up to his attention. He reprinted the ticket deducting the waffle and the queso. In the end the stars given are a result of a properly made bar drink (generous with the alcohol content), great vibes with the music and atmosphere. I would not recommend this place in the evening if you have small children like us. Based on this experience i would not recommend the food either. We had a 3-hour wait on Saturday afternoon at 6pm. While we waited, we decided to grab a spot on the outdoor patio which made our wait much more bearable. Unfortunately, our server, Janan (or Janon or Jawaun), a female, was really, really innattentive. She wouldn't clean our table or clear our plates despite our various requests. Every drink order taken took about 20+ minutes to arrive. She was sooooooo apathetic, unfriendly, and had this awful sense of entitlement. She kept giving us excuses and never made us feel welcome. We eventually got to our bay and it was a complete 180! Our server was amazing. I feel bad that I can't remember his name, but he was an Asian male and he was really, really awesome. He took our orders right away and returned about 2-3 minutes each time with our drinks. The woman we had originally could have learned so much from this guy. He was soooooo good at his job! The actual golfing experience was so enjoyable and well worth the wait. Games were fun for people of all skill levels (we had a mix of experts and beginners). Even the golf newbies can't wait to go back again. Top notch experience (aside from our first server) and we look forward to playing again soon. read more

Our company has had several outings now at Top Golf and it is a great place for fun with your team or friends. The great thing about Top Golf is that it is fun for anyone with any skill level of golf. If you can hold a club and rotate your body, you can play. The bays are spacious and offer a great place for those waiting their turn to talk, eat, and enjoy a beverage. They have a nice Sports Bar/Restaurant and the food is actually very good. I recommend that everyone come and try Top Golf and go have some fun. For you golfers, while you could practice your game here, Top Golf is not what I would classify as a Range/Practice facility. You can demonstrate your skills with hitting solid shots, but this is really more all about having a good time with others. read more

Just visited again and had a different server. She was amazing! She even brought out extra ice that we hadn't requested just because she had noticed that ours was melting. She got every aspect of our order correct (such a nice change) and we were even charged the price marked on their website! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Easily a 5 star experience this time around! Prices are best before noon and you can get a military discount. You don't need to have even ever have played miniature golf much less real golf to enjoy this place. Lots and lots of fun! read more

First time at top golf. Overall experience was cool - but man, the service was AWFUL. Our waitress was Mallory, she first of had the worst attitude. We had a company retirement party at Topgolf. The food and the service were excellent! The prices and food/drink options were all communicated up front and we signed our contract in advance, so it was so easy to relax and enjoy ourselves once we arrived at the party. Top Golf is a fun place to go. The food and drinks are great. It is certainly a premium establishment so expect to pay for a premium experience. So why the 2 stars? I have been in the food service industry for 20 years. (I know, everyone is an expert right?) For me there is an understanding of how hard servers work. At Top Golf I will say everyone was very polite. Our experience is as followed.... Let's just say overall it was a tough day and going to Top Golf was considered THE best way to chill and relax. We encountered a 45 minute wait, no problem. We sat in the restaurant ready to order an appetizer. After 15 mins of sitting at the table no one approached us. Finally, we asked if someone could tend to our table. By the time we received our appetizer and drinks our bay was ready for golf. We sat down at the bay and the same issue occurred. No one was tending to the bay as we waited a long time. This was all due to shift change around 5 or 6ish. So, it is not the staff I blame, infact they were apologetic and our Server Alex saved the day with help from a co worker tending to nearby bays. They were amazing and did lift our spirits, both true professionals. The process and management is where I have the issue. Management should be able to identify and recognize these things by observing and walking the floor. I am under the impression this shift change issue takes place on a regular basis. We will be returning to Top Golf. How can you not, it is a great place. I just will not go at shift change. read more

To start off with with, we made a reservation for 8:45 PM, and this blooming onion headed dingus lost our reservation, thus causing to wait for a whole hour until we were seated. Once we finally were seated the waitress scowled at us, gave us waters and NEVER came back. NO REFILLS, NO ORDERS, AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, leaving us with our throats as dry as the Sahara desert.The machine that allowed us to play also broke, and caused us to again lose all of our reserved time, and the had us pay an extra five dollars EACH for a membership. The tee on which we hit the golf balls also broke, only allowing us to hit off of the floor. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would not hesitate to do so. Overall. This place is a scam. Went during a very slow Tuesday afternoon with my girlfriend for a fun afternoon activity for her birthday also accompanied by her father and another friend. We ordered a large amount of food and also got drinks to go along with our two hours of golf. We made small talk with our waiter, even informing him that it was my girlfriends birthday. Seeing all of the empty tables around us was the first thing we noticed when we were asked to leave our table. I can understand shift changes and the necessity to accommodate large amounts of customers however, we were not there for more than five minutes after our golf session had ended before being asked to leave. It is absolutely disrespectful and downright ridiculous to treat paying customers in this way especially after doing nothing to warrant this kind of treatment. We were not loud, obnoxious, or sitting there for an excessive amount of time. We still had food and drinks and were in the middle of a conversation when this took place. I hope this will be addressed by management however, it seems that their bottom line is more important than customer satisfaction on what was a very slow weekday. One of my absolute favorite places to hang out! Friday afternoon is a great time to visit as it's not so crazy busy. The food is tasty! I love the steak nachos & the injectable donut holes! There's a nice outdoor area to lounge if you're not golfing. If you're going on a weekend night for your first visit, I'd suggest you stop by during the day to pick up your membership card so that you don't have to stand in the long lines. read more
