We had a couple problems with the Jewel game. The tech came over to reset the bay. He also added 15 minutes to our time. We had an issue again and the manager, Tyler, came to assist. He was very apologetic and added another 30 minutes to our time. He came and checked on us several times after. Topgolf is a lot of fun, especially if you go with a group. The staff is upbeat, encouraging and friendly. They had strong outdoor heaters that kept the chill off during our winter night visit. The food can range from normal to a bit extravagant but it was all tasty. There are a men's and women's clubs on the side of each lane along with two video monitors. The lower monitor has a touch screen that you use to choose the number of players and the game you want to play. Both screens will show the status of each golf ball that is hit. The balls are dispensed with the wave of a club and I think they use RFID technology to track the ball to the lane the ball was hit from for scoring. I don't really play golf and I've been to a driving range only a few times in my life, but the experience at Top Golf makes me want to play more, or at the very least, just take my stress out on golf balls. This place is still spankin' brand new: flatscreens everywhere, big staff to accommodate guests from valets to servers, and even a set of rental clubs (one for men and one for women) that are already sitting in each bay. I came in this past Sunday to celebrate Father's Day with my family. We were definitely impressed stepping into the facility and obviously, we weren't the only ones ready to appease our dads with golf, since we could see that the place was packed. I think we got one of the last bays before the wait got longer. We were also lucky that we were on the top floor (there's a total of 3 floors). There are some pros and cons: Pros: - Brand new, everything is clean and shiny - Very accommodating. Servers are there, lots of staff members Cons: - Seems fair, but could get expensive. Best thing to do is to get there early. - Gets busy as the day passes I think I'll be sad when this place gets old. I had such a wonderful time at Top Golf today! Based on reviews and my experience, Sunday may be the best day to visit. We arrived around 1pm and was promptly greeted by a lady driving a go cart. She asked if we would like a ride to the entrance. I was confused because the parking lot is not that large but I said Yes anyway and gave her a $2 tip for her trouble. Once inside, we were greeted and advised Where to go next. We registered for membership cards and added $35 to it, then we were ushered upstairs to a bay. They provided a mini tutorial and we began golfing. The server showed up about 5m after we were assigned a bay. She was friendly and informative. Awesomeness awaits you here, even if you despise golf. With multiple floors to putt from (all leading to different targets in a huge "backyard") and multiple types of golf games, you can't go wrong. The balls are electronically chipped so your score is calculated based on which hole the ball lands in. A good variety of golf clubs are at each bay, or you can bring your own. More than five people at the same putting bay gets kind of difficult. The four of us played comfortably over 1.5 hours while eating and drinking. If you are a serious golfer, go with fewer people, but this is still a great spot for groups. There also are pool tables, flat screen TVs, foosball tables and more. There are great drinks, such as the strawberry Moscow mule; really decent food, such as the guac and queso, but I found that the chicken and waffle sliders were so-so; and the servers are friendly at the bays. There is a learning curve here and I was somewhat put off that I needed to pay $5.35 for a plastic "membership" card, tax included, that had no value on it. Mind you, I still had to pay for my portion of our group golf game with my credit card at the putting bay. There can be a long wait for an open bay and at the front desk. We were told the wait would be an hour for a bay, so we went to eat at the bar. Then a bay opened up 20 minutes later and instead of the server transferring or canceling our just-placed order, she closed out the check so she could get a tip and then she sent the food to our bay. So we had to wait until she could get back to us, thereby holding up the guy who was waiting to escort us to our bay and leaving a bay unused while lots of other groups were waiting to play. Driving up, it looks like a casino and the big parking lot fills up fast; there is valet parking. Go earlier in the day if you can so you can find parking. It's very easy to lose track of how much you're spending here because you'll be having so much fun. read more

Came out to the Alpharetta location on a Thursday night to watch Game 1 of the playoffs and they had tvs everywhere! Food and drinks, Golden State and Cleveland game on every tv, and hitting golf balls made for a great night. The Alpharetta menu seems to be more limited than the Midtown location. I ordered the chicken and waffle sliders which were pretty good. Service was attentive and friendly. It wasn't crowded but then again it was late Thursday night. We had this problem, didn't want to go anywhere too expensive, and finally decided on Top Golf because it was down the street from the mall. What a great decision! The bays are a little pricy but not bad at all when split among 6 people (we had 8 people in our bay but 4 ppl shared 2 cards). The food is a great price for the setting (everything hovers around 10 bucks) and the drinks are great if a little pricey (but u can get Sam Adams for 3). Boy were we glad we went! If you could have your own little private section in a bar/restaurant with its own driving range, wouldn't you go? We have had some great experiences at Topgolf in Texas and Florida but, we tried to make a reservation in Auburn Hills Michigan and it was like we were being punished for bringing a large group. We were quoted $59 an hour per bay. When we called and ask for 4 bays for two hours each we were quoted $189 per bay for 2hrs plus a guarantee that we would spend between $20 and $30 per bay in food and drinks. This is the first I have heard of punishing people for bringing in business. What a disappointment. read more

I don't like golf. But I love Top Golf! Top Golf isn't your average driving range. There are several different targets to hit on the range, and each ball is microchipped so that your computer system knows exactly where it lands. You have the opportunity to play several different games with different goals...all covering a wide range of talents (or lack of talents in my case!), so anyone can be at least somewhat successful. The different games break up the monotony of a regular driving range and were able to give me something to look forward to. I would recommend Top Golf for sure! read more

Another great experience here. This review is more about the service, which was excellent. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. If it's your first time here, they will walk you through what TopGolf is all about. They might even offer to give you a few pointers on your golf swing if it's your first golf experience or you haven't golfed in a while. The first time I was here, there was a coach who helped my wife on her swing. He even gave me a few pointers on how to grip the club if my ball sliced left or right. So after you load money onto your card, there is someone to help lead you to your bay and set you up if you need. There are servers to take your food and drink orders. On this occasion we had the Chorizo & Egg Sliders and Chargrilled Steak Flatbread. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend trying both out. We had a buffet set up for our private party. The grilled vegetables were wonderful as were the grilled shrimp. The roast beef was not overcooked either. All staff we interacted with were Very friendly although the server didn't explain the game until we asked she only asked what we wanted to drink when she walked up. They don't serve alcohol until 12:30 on Sunday's just FYI. They have heaters you can turn on which helped with the cold morning breeze a lot. The chicken & waffle sliders were good (especially the chicken-waffle was just ok). The only thing I didn't like was the bill was not split (food vs bay rental) and it came out on one check. I tip on % but don't feel I should tip on price of bay rental so the food items should be on a separate check. We did go up to the third level after playing to check out the rooftop bar and get some drinks. The drinks both came in glasses we got to take home which we liked. 12 of us went to TopGolf for a friends birthday. I don't drink, so I can't comment on the drinks, but the snack were great. Our server was great, very attentive and nice. The only downside was the actual golf. The equipment might as well have been miniature golf putters. I understand that they can't prove high-end equipment, but the clubs were a joke. The ball, with the electronics inside, is a lot like a rock. Kind of like playing a glo-ball at night. Probably the worst was the hitting mats. These are beat to crap. Topgolf is so much fun! It's like playing ring toss at the fair except with golf! My friends and I went in the morning half when it was slightly cheaper. There were 3 floors and we were on the bottom floor. Each bunker area has comfy couches and a server that is ready for you to take any type of order, drinks or food too I believe. There were 4 of us and there are multiple games that you can play. However, it took us a solid 1 hour to get through just 1 game. It was extremely fun, but coming here. It wasn't even cooked, took 45 minutes to get our food and it wasn't even that good. Next to the actual golf portion. We didn't even get to golf. We were told it would be a 25 minute wait, we waited for 45 minutes and then I went to check on how much longer it would be and they said it would possibly be another half hour. Reserved 2 bays for a company outing and while the facility itself is amazing, I was quite shocked at the level of service we received when arriving. Not sure if the welcoming staff is not accustom to dealing with a larger crowd in the morning, but they were EXTREMELY RUDE and slow. It was a cold day so there was hardly anyone there, you would think they would be polite to a group that has come in ready to eat and buy drinks. So disappointing! We play golf regularly in Tulsa at Golf Suites( formerly Flying T) and Top Golf doesn't even come close to comparing. 1. The machine kicks balls out super slow so when your paying hourly to play your not getting to hit the ball as often. 2. The distance your ball travels once hit is not tracked. 3. The speed at which your ball travels is not tracked. 4. You don't get to actually play a simulated course like you do at Golf Suites. No games like longest drive. Your just trying hit targets for points. If you don't hit the target your ball isn't tracked at all. No points. 5. No pitchers of beer, buckets only and they were over priced. 6. Membership pricing is overpriced also. My advise is grab a bucket of balls at your local golf course and hit the driving range! read more

First experience at Topgolf and it was fantastic! Really impressed with the precautions taken for COVID too. When we arrived for our reservation, there was no bay open but we were happy to have a drink at the bar. Our drinks were great and the bartender answered our questions about how some of the games worked which was helpful. The barstools were in groups of two and very spread out from each other, even further than 6 feet which was reassuring. Once we got the the bay, the service we received from our waitress was top notch. We ended up ordering Mac and cheese bites which were way better than I expected. Definitely order them when you go. Finally, figuring out the games was easy and a fun experience with a good mix of music playing in the background. Topgolf is expensive, but well worth the money for the experience.
