We were interested in buying an exercise bike from their sports department. There was absolutely nobody manning the customer service desk in that area, so we walked up to the register area. They were just standing there! The first employee blankly stared at me. The second employee, an older lady, also just stared. Finally, the third employee blurted out "can I help you?". I let him know that we are interested in buying an exercise bike, and he muttered into his radio for someone to meet us there, and told us to wait over there. Well, 15 minutes passed and nobody came over to us. I walked back to the front desk, where the same employee rudely said "Why are you back here? I told you to wait"... I politely informed him that nobody met us, and the lady manager burst out laughing. He paged someone again. This time, someone came out, but he didn't know about their delivery options and gave us a QR code to scan if we wanted to order a bike on DoorDash. Not helpful, at all. We will not return, at least not for buying equipment. I'm sure this store is fine for baseballs or sports tees, but they are incredibly unhelpful and untrained from what I've seen!!

I went to get a casual rain coat and I found exactly what I was looking for but I did have to sift through the coats to find the one I was looking for. Torrentialshell 3L Patagonia was hidden up at the top amongst a few brands. I could hardly reach it. If it weren't for my retail background I wouldn't have known they have one of those reachers somewhere around. I found one hidden and hanging, grabbed it and was able to get my size. I love that it's a little oversized so I can put my Nano puff underneath when it's winter so I can have extra warmth and a windbreaker. Also learned that combo from a nice woman from the alpine shop (probably my favorite) When I went to check out, there was a man in front of me who left his purchase and the cashier tried to get him back. That's when he said he was doing a return. So she had to refund him twice. Yikes. She was nice enough when she rang me out. Parking is hit or miss in town and country because there's so many great places in this shopping center. You may have to walk a bit even during the middle of the week when you'd think everyone was at work.

I called Trailhead Bicycles and asked about service packages, service appointments etc. The young gentleman I spoke to was Ian (sp), he was extremely helpful over the phone explaining the service procedures and timeframe for service completions available. We decided after talking to Ian to drop our bikes off that day for an evaluation. We expected to leave our bikes and pick-up two weeks later. Upon arrival, Ian met us and did a quick review of our bikes, assessed my gear malfunction, gave us price quotes etc. Due to the well kept condition of our bikes, Ian decided he could service our bikes right then. We were so surprised, not at all what we expected! Long story, Ian performed a thorough review and service of our bikes and had us out of there within an hour - not two weeks as expected! Ian provided us peace of mind about the condition and operation of our bikes, he assured us our bikes are in great condition and safe for us to hit the trails!
