I placed an order for a pair of boots for my son as a xmas present but they were the wrong size. So okay, that should be SUPER EASY to return and get a pair in his size, RIGHT? WRONG. That only applies if it's not TacticalGear.com.
So far it's taken about 3 weeks to get a response from these people, and finally I've gained some traction this week. But mind you, last Monday I was ON HOLD ON THE PHONE FOR 20+ MINUTES AND FINALLY HUNG-UP AND EMAILED THEM. And WOW shocker they responded - HOURS LATER and in that email I basically said how ridiculous it was that I was on hold for so long and that I simply wanted a damn RMA for this purchase. Even I as a laymen customer know what the hell an RMA is and how damn easy it is to obtain. Hey TacticalGear.com - maybe you should take a peek at this one company called AMAZON to learn a thing or two.
Since that email response on Monday (today is Wednesday) it has taken this company THREE days to FINALLY say ("say" mind you - they haven't actually delivered) that they are sending me a UPS Prepaid label. This damn label is SUPPOSED to be emailed to me TODAY. Uh hi, it's been 8 hours since I received that email today and that label has not arrived in my INBOX, SPAM or JUNK email boxes. At 2:28 pm PST on January 24th, a person named "Jess" emailed me from tg@cat5.com and said, "I can certainly help you with your return. I have generated and emailed a UPS prepaid shipping label. You should be seeing it shortly. If you do not see it in your inbox by the end of the day, it may be in a spam or junk mail folder." Well "shortly" never happened and uh hi, it's pretty much "end of day" and the damn label hasn't arrived (AGAIN I CHECKED ALL THE STUPID INBOXES mentioned). Why the hell would it even take THAT LONG to get a stupid UPS Prepaid label? Come on -
you guys are amateurs.
I am totally pissed off because the boots I bought for my son (he asked me to buy them for him with his xmas money) were over $115.00. Additionally, they are charging me $5 for not taking a store credit - my son decided not to return then rebuy the boots because he has WAITED SO DAMN LONG for this return to even happen. GOOD JOB guys, your eager customer was waiting so long that he decided he didn't want the boots from your stupid company anymore. I used to work in retail and any idiot knows that the customer comes first - always. That is, if you are a reputable company and actually give a shit about your customers and your reputation. From the looks of the ratings here, I wonder if this company understands that Yelp exists?
Quite honestly I don't like leaving negative reviews. It pisses me off to even have to write this. However, there is no excuse for this. I wish I looked-up this company on Yelp before I agreed to let my son order ANYTHING from this incompetent company. read more
