If it weren't for the selection of brands that I personally love, I wouldn't go here as often as I do. I went to get a casual rain coat and I found exactly what I was looking for but I did have to sift through the coats to find the one I was looking for. Torrentialshell 3L Patagonia was hidden up at the top amongst a few brands. I could hardly reach it. If it weren't for my retail background I wouldn't have known they have one of those reachers somewhere around. I found one hidden and hanging, grabbed it and was able to get my size. I love that it's a little oversized so I can put my Nano puff underneath when it's winter so I can have extra warmth and a windbreaker. Also learned that combo from a nice woman from the alpine shop (probably my favorite) When I went to check out, there was a man in front of me who left his purchase and the cashier tried to get him back. That's when he said he was doing a return. So she had to refund him twice. Yikes. She was nice enough when she rang me out. Parking is hit or miss in town and country because there's so many great places in this shopping center. You may have to walk a bit even during the middle of the week when you'd think everyone was at work.

Today I was here for one specific item, the YETI Rambler Tumbler Straw Lid - Medium. I could buy this a lot of places but I chose REI because I am a member and because I was going to the Whole Foods next door. I did a circle around the store just to see it and then found what I needed and got in line. The cashier was super friendly and got me to donate to whatever and gave me a sticker. Of course I'll be back!

Someone in my household has skin sensitivities and we often order soap products from a company nearby who also produces all-natural soaps. Since we've found this place, I've been coming here to buy their soaps instead! My favorite is their lip products: the butterfly and honey kisses especially. They're petroleum-free and based on the listed ingredients, I would say they're also gluten-free. They also leave my lips feeling soft but not in a greasy kind of way. My lips have not been feeling chapped even in the crazy winter conditions since I switched to only using their lip balms. They carry other beauty products as well. I love the charcoal facial soap with tea tree oil. They always make my skin feel clean and since I have very oily skin, the charcoal actually has been helping. This shop really is wonderful. If you're into all-natural products, you need to check it out! I'm not into holistic stuff but I do tend to avoid using excessive chemicals in my body if I can help it. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Coming here is usually a joy in itself!

I ordered some items online and they notified me when pickup was available. The process was so easy I didn't even have to call before someone came out to my car to ask me my name for the order. I paired the shower steamers with an air purifying plant from Maypop and tea from Big Heart to create a gift set. I also added the collaboration soap with The Block to my local goods basket I made for my brother. I can't wait to come back and shop in store!

Even after then I was never on that side of town when the store was open. Well today was my day!! I walked up and pulled the door and was excited that it opened. I heard a voice but didn't see anyone. A welcoming bubbly voice. A few seconds later Cassie appeared. Just as bubbly as her voice. I didn't know how anything worked so she explained the scents and what I could do. I first started smelling the oils. I quickly gravitated towards 3 scents. She put them on a swatch so that I could see how they smelled together. I loved them!! Up next was the home fragrance. I went over and started to smell scents because another gentleman came in to re-up on his fragrance. I smelled the Ocean Breeze first. I was sold on that one. I continued to smell other scents though. The ocean breeze smelled so clean and inviting. Cassie came over and once again explained to me how the lamp worked and even gave me a demonstration. Told me how many hours each size would last. By this time I'm invested!! Take my money please. So I picked a lamp and luckily enough it came with the fragrance I wanted. The only reason I didn't buy extra was because my husband is always looking for stuff to buy me. I will send him back when we need extra scent oils. I'm super excited about my purchase and I know exactly where I am putting my lamp. Thank you Cassie! I love your store and we will definitely be back!

I use a deodorant soap for the manly areas and a Dove for Men product for the rest of my body. After this shower, I am flipping that bird off and replacing it with the locally made soap from Maven. The scent I bought on my first visit was, "my boyfriends t-shirt". I can assure you it does not smell like the t-shirts of the Sharks and Jets after they have been dancing on the rooftops and streets of New York City. In stead it smells like fresh clean laundry that has dried in a fresh summer breeze. The fragrance was so soothing that I also bought it in a Wood Wick Soy Candle and Solid Perfume. I can tell you now, I will be a repeat customer at Maven. I may even have to start considering myself to be a metro sexual, which I have not in the past.
