It's interesting to see how jarring the reviews are from people who seem to have created profiles to leave the one review... good and bad. But anyways! I've been here multiple times before their remodel and was surprised to see it how well the expansion looks! To be honest I didn't care to go here because I it was so compact so I'm glad they did this. It feels and looks better in my opinion. I'm always greeted by people and always am asked if I need any help. I feel like gun stores in general have the friendliest staff always willing to help and answer any questions. There is so much to know and so many options! I used to work at a tactical gear company, so I know there's a lot! We were able to take a closer look at some things and they were very knowledgeable. I really want one of those big safes in the back but maybe once we buy our forever home because those things are HEAVY but also very very nice. We'll definitely be back! read more

We visited your establishment, not as strangers, but as loyal customers. Over the years, I have purchased multiple firearms from your store, and my wife and I had always regarded it as a place of professionalism and respect. However, what we encountered that day was something far different. From the moment we entered, it was as though my wife didn't exist. Staff members avoided her, ignored our questions, and even went as far as closing cabinets as she approached. The blatant disregard for her presence and humanity was stunning. To say it was humiliating is an understatement. Watching her walk out of your store in tears--tears born from the sheer exhaustion of constantly having to prove her worth in spaces that should be welcoming--was gut-wrenching. For those who may not understand the gravity of this: imagine returning home after serving multiple tours including Afghanistan, after dedicating your life to protecting this country, only to find that your family is still subject to the very prejudices you fought to dismantle. We thought we were coming back to a community we loved and knew, only to be met with an experience that stripped away our sense of safety and belonging. It's important to note that this isn't about a single bad experience--it's about the patterns of behavior that this represents. The irony is not lost on us that when my wife--glasses on, dressed casually for the weekend, and driving the so-called "mommy car"--was treated this way, no one seemed to consider who she might be. She has consulted on boards of several companies, has a vast professional global network, and carries herself with grace and intelligence. If appearances deceived your staff, that reflects poorly on your training and culture, not on her. Interestingly, the same store that made her feel invisible showed remarkable kindness just a few hours later at M&M Guns, where she was treated with empathy, respect, and understanding. The contrast couldn't be starker. Not only did they cheer her up, but they also provided the guidance and support we were seeking in the first place. They will now have our business moving forward. To be perfectly clear: we are not simply disappointed--we are deeply disillusioned. I have spoken with my colleagues, many of whom are military veterans, law enforcement officers, and professionals across various industries. My wife has shared this experience with her network, which includes individuals whose influence spans both personal and public spheres. The fact that this even needs to be said in 2025 is disheartening. Businesses thrive on community trust, and communities are built on mutual respect. Your staff's behavior not only disrespected my wife but also undermined the values your business should uphold. I hope you reflect on this incident, as the consequences of such actions extend far beyond the loss of a single family's patronage. Let this serve as a lesson: You never know who is walking into your business. Judging a book by its cover--or, in this case, by race and gender--reveals a level of ignorance that has no place in today's society. I was looking for a gunsmith that could install sights on my rifle. Found Eagle Armory had the best reviews for their gunsmithing and even has "Sight Installation" listed on their website for $45. I made A rookie mistake and screwed up my AR. I took it in to the gunsmith had it done in less than 24 hours, with a very very fair price. I cannot speak to the previous persons 1 star review, but I can speak to my own experience. I am no stranger to firearm stores, small and large, and therefore I am no stranger to the quirks and eccentricities of firearm store owners. All have their own unique characteristics and all have their own way of doing things. These are their shops and they don't have to bow or cater to anyone but themselves. I rate Eagle Armory at 4.5. (Read On) I entered Eagle Armory to execute a transfer from an online retailer. Eagle Armory was the closest FFL in my area that would blind accept the transfer, as I know getting into a "trusted" network can be a hassle for some stores and big stores mostly won't ever do. Now, this is the time of COVID-19 when guns and ammunition are fairly scarce in the STL area. Not here. Eagle Armory had a great selection of handguns, AR style and various sporting rifles, and even some surplus weapons. They had most major calibers of ammunition in stock and at reasonable prices. In this time, too many retailers could be taking advantage of customers but I did not see this reflected on any price tags. They seem to prefer CZUSA, SIG, and B&T firearms at this location. They didn't seem to have too many budget firearms, but then again this is the time of COVID-19. They also had a fun assortment of tactical firearm accessories ranging from the medium level to expensive. The transfer fee was $25, which is VERY reasonable and I was on my way with my transfer. The staff was very friendly and welcomed every person that entered with a quick "Hi" or "Hello". Now on to the reason why I can't give 5 stars (there is not 4.5 so I rounded up). The glass cases were practically covered with boxes, paperwork, and parts. There wasn't much free space on top of the glass and this made seeing prices slightly difficult. I have mentioned it before; this is the time of COVID-19. Firearm stores and the firearm industry are busy, busy, busy and Eagle Armory was no exception. Due to the glass cases being covered with product, it gave a strange feeling when walking in for the first time. Most importantly, and I cannot stress this enough, even with the rush of customers and product on the glass there never was a time when I was in that firearms were handled improperly. The utmost respect was paid to the customers and the firearms at all times from what I can remember. You may draw your own conclusions about whether or not my review paints a more realistic view on Eagle Armory than the other 1 star rating; that is your choice. However, I will definitely be going back for the foreseeable future to check out the fun and interesting inventory Eagle Armory has. Be sure to check out the GyroJet they have on display. Spoke to who I believe was the owner of Eagle Armory on Dec 18th. Requested to be put on a purchase list to buy a rare Sig M17 Surplus. No problem I'm was number 2 in the list. I was promised to receive what I requested and would be notified when it comes in. I got a call on Dec 31 845am saying I need to look elsewhere as they dont expect to get any. After he promised m . I missed multiple other opportunities to buy one from other stores. I now see today they have multiple of these pistols in stock. I call and ask where is mine. I'm basically told to F off there going in Gunbroker to fetch twice as much. Very shady business practice . We had a deal and they screwed me over a few extra bucks. I understand marking them up but I should have got what was promised then they could list the rest on GB. I or my multiple gun buddies will not support this price gouging shady business no longer. They will loose more in the end then they will make by auctioning these of . Dont take there word they lie. read more
