And there he was, in the flesh. The Great Magdonal. I clarified my needs, he gave me his price, and business was done. Key was copied. And an invitation to return was extended to me. And I accepted. Every time I have visited MAGDONAL's lock and key, the Great Magdonal hasnt been present. Today I visited for some quick house keys copied, and again--no Magdonal. I vented my frustration to one of MAGDONAL's highly trained ninja Jedi assistant sensei locksmiths, and he explained that Magdonal trained all staff rigorously, so that in his absence all customers would be in good hands. He also clarified that Magdonal had his staff in place so that Magdonal could spread the lock and key gospel to the people of the world. What is a lock, with no key? What is a key with no lock? The lock/key yin/yang sermon. Without one, the other is useless. I realized I was being selfish and did not want to impede on Magdonal's mission. Staff was great. Quick, competent, and pleasant. Boom boom boom. Keys copied and color coded on a Saturday. And they clarified that Magdonal works in the mornings, which made sense because I don't think I'd visit in the mornings. I am posting this review on behalf of my friend: M & E Locksmith is an unethical business…read moreand should not have a business license.  I reported M & E Locksmith to the Better Business Bureau.  A technician installed a new lock on my door in May 2023.  In November 2023, the lock became detached from my door.  I contacted the technician who installed the lock, and he stated there would be a charge to inspect the lock.  I went to the actual business to speak with the owner.  The owner did not speak English.  I found a Spanish interpreter in the shopping mall.  According to the interpreter, the owner did not know anything about my lock installation and suggested I take whatever actions necessary to resolve my issue. His hostile and unconcerned attitude is one of the reasons this business can not be trusted.
