All was good until it wasn't. was satisfied(or so I thought), so kept requesting more jobs. The…read moregutter cleaning was the " straw that broke the camel's back.". Damaged the gutter, left the newly washed siding with black residue, broke a spindle on the porch and claimed it was all pre-existing. After much back and forth, a minor fix was done on the gutter and the black was removed(I had tried but couldn't,). One of the first jobs was to fix a porch roof that dripped. Discovered, when it rained, that it wasn't fixed. At that point, I discovered he blocked me so no way to contact him. I was hopeful that I had found someone to do repairs, but was disappointed.

You need to watch his workers so they dont cut corners that are expensive later to fix. You need to get the agreement in writing, otherwise promised work will be forgotten and you will have no recourse a year later when the cut corners finally reveal themselves. No matter how much they come with a sob story, stick to half on deposit and not another cent until the project is complete and a punch list is done. This is a business transaction and his employees financial woes are not your problem. I should have trusted my gut when the siding guy was working alone and using nails, now Im having someone come by to quote how much its going to cost to tear down everything and redo it. Appears they have the skill to do great small interior projects, but cant manage employees to do anything larger. But the one big thing, get a written contract or plan on paying someone else to fix problems later.

More concerning, an entire side of the house appeared to have been missed altogether. My husband contacted the owner, Chris Lagrasta, (the one who did the power washing) about the issue. He acknowledged the concern and said he would come back to take a look, but we never heard from him again. No follow-up, no return visit, and no effort to address the problems. What makes this even more disappointing is that my husband and the owner discovered they knew each other from years ago and have many mutual friends. We expected that would mean a little extra care and professionalism, not less. I am proud to have joined the group of Top Notch satisfied customers! From the initial estimate meeting with Mike, I knew I was working with a professional company. There was no pressure or hard sell. He was very thorough in developing the estimate and got back to me with several options. He was always prompt with returning calls and texts, as well as very patient in answering my questions. I chose to replace the 5" gutters that were ineffective in handling the pitch and size of the roof with 6" gutters. I also chose to add leaf guards - which eliminates the yearly cost for gutter cleaning, and the potential risk of injury to the gutter cleaner and possible insurance claim. The day of the job, the temperature was over 90, humidity was 92+, blazing sun; sweltering, high roof, large house; worst possible conditions to do this work. Eric and his crew arrived early, positive, jovial and ready to work. Eric's leadership, professional acumen, pride in his work, his company and high expectations of his workers, quickly became apparent. There was an understood plan, his crew knew what they were to do; all worked in unison, and got along very well. Eric and I walked around the house upon completion. As we did, he scoured the ground for debris and offered suggestions for an area where there would be a lot of runoff from the roof. Found the Willow tree painting company on line and are very pleased and impressed with the painting of our son's house built in the 40s. The home has older wood shingles in weathered condition and some even missing. The shingles proved to be very challenging to strip, prep and paint. He also had old wires hanging we weren't sure what was current or not. This company went above and beyond to repair and restore missing shingles, remove unnecessary wiring per our request even assisted with a faulty water spigot issue just because we'd mentioned we were not sure how to address the problem one of the company owners asked if we'd like help with it and corrected the problem. Very knowledgeable about building structures and how to work with exteriors with age related problems. Paint job went above and beyond. House went from one of the roughest appearances on the street to one that stands out as one of the nicer looking homes with compliments coming from neighbors he hadn't even gotten to know yet.
