They just finished paving a 2600sf graded driveway. Excellent job. Out of 4 quotes that i received, it was the best one. Elijah spoke well and i felt comfortable proceeding with him. They own their own trucks and machinery so theres no rush and better price. On a contrary, they are actually quick. I have no idea why the previous person left them negative feedback everywhere. They definitely dont deserve it.

I hired E sprague to pave a beat up 300 ft driveway. They were on time, the price was very fair to me. The owner Elijah was very pleasant to deal with along with his wife who runs the office. His 5 or 6 man crew were extremely courteous and polite. They were extremely efficient. I would hire them again.

Mom and I hired E. Sprague 2 years ago and the driveway has gone through winter twice and it still looks great. The excellent job done by this contractor shows his years of experience. Mr Sprague 's team showed courtesy and professionalism throughout the entire process. A job well done and I am hiring them again to have my driveway extended to park my trailer. Thank You so much Elijah Sprague and family.

Beautiful tar and chip driveway laid by E Sprague and Sons paving. (Belgian block laid by different contractor).

We had a great experience with them. They came when promised, were clearly experienced in what they were doing and finished a difficult job quickly and very beautifully. The crew was outgoing, and efficient and we love how it turned out. Would use them again and have recommended them to do the driveway of my elderly parents.

My driveway less than 2 years after Sprague work.

Absolutely awful. The proof is in the photos. It's worth checking them all out. My driveway was done (brand new) by Sprague less than 3 years ago. It looks terrible now- tons of weeds, cracks, and warping. They do not stick to their guarantee and have not been here to fix it as they promised they would. They do not return phone calls. If you do, by chance, speak to the receptionist (owner's wife), be prepared to be talked to rudely. She was unapologetic after making an appointment to do repairs and no one showed up without so much as a phone call to let me know. Want proof of what my driveway looks like? Check out those photos! Nice, eh? Oh, and did I mention that the company borrowed my wheelbarrow when they first did my driveway and told me it would be returned in the condition in which it was lent? They destroyed it- didn't even clean it before leaving. Again- I have pics.

We had a very disappointing experience with FoamCo…read more We have a waterproofed crawlspace. A lot of cold air was rising from it into our house over the winter. We asked FoamCo how to insulate it to keep our house warmer. They suggested covering the rim joists and ceiling with open cell spray foam. We asked a lot of questions before agreeing to go forward, including these most important two: Will this impact the humidity in the space, after all our work & investment to keep it under control? We were assured that our dehumidifier (which they claimed to be very familiar with, since they sell the same model) would keep our moisture levels steady at 55-65%. Will the bottom of our floor joists be accessible? We have pipes that run along the bottom of the floor joists & we were assured that the floor joists would be only partially covered with the bottoms exposed. The first thing we noticed upon the completion of the work is that the joists & all the pipes are completely covered. This will make any plumbing work that needs to be done in our crawl space much more expensive. We also noticed pretty quickly that the humidity in the crawl space was 70-85%. We asked FoamCo why this was & what we could do about it but they were unable to provide any practical solutions. We had to do our own research to find out that our dehumidifier was not turning on due to the crawl space temperature being below 50 degrees. FoamCo never informed us that our dehumidifier only works in temperatures above 50, despite their claim that they were familiar with this model. Their initial idea was to heat the crawl space, which is both expensive and ridiculous. Later they suggested that we simply wait for temperatures to increase, leaving our crawl space very humid for about half the year. We've reached out to them multiple times to ask for support & request that they fix their mistakes. While they were initially responsive, they have not been able to offer any meaningful solutions. When we pointed out the faults in those solutions, they stopped responding. They've shown us that they don't stand behind their work, don't take care of their customers, & only tell potential customers what they need to make the sale. We're left with extra costs that will follow us for years and a very bad taste in our mouths.

The representative explained all my options. Least expensive - fiberglass, next - a certain kind of foam, and most expensive - foam that covers everything including the rafters. I said give me the price for the best first. Also needed to include cleanup of the old insulation (messy) and a vent from the bathroom to the outside. To my surprise, it was under $500. We should have done it years ago! The attic was left cleaner that it was before they came! And, the house is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer (old farm house.) Highly recommend this company!
