We just completed a 3 room remodel (kitchen/laundry/bathroom) and are super happy with the results. Permitted with our city. We had 2 walls removed to extend our galley kitchen, giving us more room and allowing the design to be more functional. Stripped down to the studs, insulation, fresh walls, tile flooring, custom cabinets, clean ceiling, electric, plumbing, the works. Sergio and his team helped us overcome a few hurdles and made our journey as smooth as possible. You know how some kids don't play well together? Well, OSH plays very well with others. Other who mess-up, other contractors, other's options. Sergio is always on your side for design, functionality and safety. When we had unique requests they did all the could to accommodate us. The team was always on time, friendly and professional. Actually they were very fun to work with. Thank you to The OSH Family. God bless.

For many of us who have had bad experiences with contractors, it almost feels that there are no…read moregood ones out there. I finally found the best contractor and just had an amazing experience building an 880sqft ADU. From the first day I discussed the project with Sergio the owner, I felt a sense of ease and trust. Segio is a standup guy and a solid business owner. He has excellent knowledge of all types of remodels and new construction. The proposal was clear and straightforward. His estimate was fair and competitive. Also, there were no change-orders for the project. Sergio hates change-orders just as much as we all do. I chose to add a few things throughout the project and his charges were more than fair. He even did some extra things at no charge. As far as the craftsmanship, the team at OSH is excellent from the crew that built the foundation to the plumbing, electrical, drywall, finishes and painting. OSH has a good size team and self performs almost everything, which gives you peace of mind and better control over timing, budget and quality. Now here is the icing on the cake, OSH Construction completed the job ahead of schedule. Sergio provided a schedule that was already very aggressive. I honestly didn't think it is even possible. The entire house was built in less than 5 months. They were often waiting on us to make decisions and select finishes. They are so fast and efficient while providing the best quality craftsmanship. If you hire OSH Construction, have all your ducks in a row and you will have your remodel completed in no time. I highly recommend OSH Construction and Sergio in particular as a contractor. You will rarely find someone like him these days. A man of his word, who cares about his clients, his employees and does the right thing all the time.

We had a vision, and Mike brought it to life!…read more We've tackled our fair share of remodel projects over the years, but nothing quite prepared us for the leap into a complete, ground-up ADU build. We knew this wasn't a project to hand off to just anyone, we needed a true expert, someone who could steer us through every twist and turn with confidence. That's exactly what we found in Mike. From our very first meeting, Mike had a calm, reassuring presence that told us we were in good hands. He listened closely to our vision, asked the right questions, and laid out a clear path forward that immediately put our minds at ease. And trust us, our minds needed easing, we came to him with a steady stream of nervous, sometimes repetitive questions, and he never once made us feel like a burden. He answered every single one with patience, warmth, and genuine reassurance. Communication was a true highlight of working with Mike. He kept us updated at every stage, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What could have been an incredibly stressful, all-consuming process instead felt manageable, even exciting. He also took the reins on coordinating with city inspectors throughout the entire build, handling all the back-and-forth so we didn't have to lift a finger. That alone lifted a massive weight off our shoulders. And the icing on the cake? He finished the entire project ahead of the estimated timeline, without ever cutting corners on quality or care. If you're on the fence about a big build like this, let us save you the trouble: call Mike. He turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we're genuinely grateful for, and the final result speaks for itself. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

I reached out to MDM back in early 2025 and met with Mike right away so he could look at my…read moreproperty and walk me through what my wife and I wanted for our project. Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

Thankfully we came across KV builders on yelp and we entrusted our long awaited bathroom shower remodel with Kenny! After 6 long years of using our master bathroom shower, we realized the poor workmanship of the house flipper that sold us our house. Tiles not lined up, water leaking out the shower door, water leaking through the grout, grout cracking, water pooling in a corner of the shower because it wasn't properly sloped. It got to the point where what once was a pretty shower became a nasty place to shower in. Kenny was fast to respond, professional, and took his job seriously. He also had a punctual team who worked hard and was attentive to details. We were more than impressed with the outcome of our shower. They nailed our "accent wall with shower niche". Not only is our shower pretty to look at, but it's functioning exactly how we want it to. Thanks Kenny!

He kept the job moving at a surprisingly fast pace and promptly resolved issues as they arose. Pricing was competitive -- we got multiple estimates and Way To Go came in reasonable without cutting corners. You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Our pool cleaner gave high praise on the resurfacing work when he arrived for the first cleaning! Where is the 10-star button?!? I cannot recommend Max highly enough. After firing the design…read morebuilder I originally engaged, Max stepped in to complete a full remodel of our little HB cottage. What was once a tired and dated 2-bedroom house is now an adorably modern and expansive 1-bedroom, complete with spa-like bathroom and vaulted ceilings. Unbelievably, the project came in on time and on budget.

Our electric cooktop and hood broke many months ago, and we thought that replacing it with a gas…read morecooktop and new hood would be straightforward. It turns out that was not true. One plumber could install a gas line only, another plumber could install a gas line and the gas cooktop but not the hood, and an appliance installation technician could not install the cooktop because he could not cut into the existing granite top. So I found Max of MRI Construction and Remodeling on Yelp, and he said that he could do the work within that original scope -- cooktop, hood, and gas line -- but that we should anticipate a backup plan in case the granite cracked during installation. Because we plan to live in this house for as long as possible, we decided to go through a full kitchen renovation. We had a prior experience with another general contractor who was impossible to get a hold of and who could not ensure the quality of the subcontractors he hired, and interviewed another general contractor who gave us the impression that we would have to engage with suppliers and subcontractors more than seemed feasible. We are happy to say that we just finished our kitchen renovation last week! And it was finished a week earlier than scheduled. We are thankful to Max and his team of subcontractors! We are really happy with the final kitchen, given how much we cook at home. And surprisingly the process was easy despite its size and time of 6 weeks. Max has the strengths and qualities you want for your construction projects: he's incredibly responsive, honest and communicative, and willing and able to troubleshoot issues that come up, as they invariably do, both small and large. He makes recommendations if you ask and gives you options for decisions for which there are too many options. He works with an amazing group of subcontractors who are experts in their craft. There was an exception with one subcontractor but Max was able to get that course-corrected so that the project finished strong. We appreciate his integrity and his willingness to ensure that the project meets your needs and expectations. We are grateful that we found Max on Yelp and for being able to work with him on a kitchen that we love and also within budget!! Thank you, Max and MRI Construction!!
